    I'm 12E in a men's shoe. I also have a wide foot.
  2. When the president's edit came down, right away I thought of DADT. This is the same thing, only now it involves trans people.

    Conundrum

I read the book a number of years ago.

    "Transgender History"

Didn't know about a second edition. I'll have to purchase it. Read the first edition and loved it. Transgender History is must for anyone's library.
  6. One of the more common questions crossdressers get asked is why? Why do we want to wear women's clothing. Do we do it for sensual reasons or for comfort? I've had three years to think this over. I don't know why I like to crossdress but I do. I do get a sensual thrill from wearing a skirt and cami but I there is also a feeling of contentment. There is the sense that I am being the person that I really am. I like people and activities outside the norm. Not many people go out in public wearing clothing of the opposite sex. With me it's the belief that I have defied society's dictate of what a man is suppose to be. There is much gender diversity in the world and I want to explore it. Gender is much more varied and expansive than society realizes or cares to understand. Crossdressing is so much a part of me. I wear panties all the time and I feel feminine much of the time. I still don't why I would rather wear a skirt but I am happy and content. Gennee :D
  7. I'm not going to be silent about this. As I stated before I'm not going to be erased or ignored.
  8. I'm really impressed by Rihanna's response. This is refreshing to hear.
  9. Was going to go but I can't. A couple of my friends are going.
  10. If they do kick out the 15 thousand troops they have to replace them. Not going to be easy because some are in high security positions.

Texas may lose 2018 NFL Draft

I was stationed in Texas back in 1971. I liked San Antonio and Houston. The problem is that their politics stink.
  12. I read this book over a year ago. I enjoyed it very much.
  13. Congratulations on a job well done, Ellen. I'm so happy that you and Israel present transgender families in a positive manner. This is something I try and do everyday.
  14. With the passage of the Religious Freedom Act in Indiana, more questions have been raised than resolutions. when all this was becoming a topic, the question that kept buzzing in my head was how does one of calls themselves Christians and say they love God discriminate against people who God also created? An oxymoron if you ask me. The scripture says that if you claim to love God and hate people then you are a liar (The bible says it; not me). I don't believe that Governor Pence thought that he would get as much backlash as he did. The governor in Arkansas backed off of signing a similar bill in his state. Florida and Texas are also considering religious freedom bills. I believe that one should be able to defend your beliefs and explain what they are.I certainly haven't seen this in evidence. I also believe that Governor Pence wants to try to legislate morality and one that is discriminatory. This is a slippery slope if you ask me. Another point is that in the past many churches and religions had it all wrong in regards to slavery, women, indigenous people, gays and lesbians, and other groups. Discrimination is wrong and I don't care what type of packaging they want to wrap it in.
  15. I just read their Facebook page. Not a lot of information but it seems that much has been going on for awhile. I wanted to go the conference at some point. I hope and pray that it does come back in some form.
  16. I don't believe suicide is talked about enough. I was happy that transgender people who died by their own hand were remembered at transgender day of remembrance services. Since marriage equality has become the law of the land a number of lgbt organizations have curtailed or ceased operations. Once again transgender folks have been left behind.

    HBO: The Trans List

    Will watch it on Thursday.
  18. I would love to visit this exhibit. Congratulations!
  19. My question is what does religion freedom have to do with helping a person in need? I'm a Christian and I see the hypocrisy of that statement.
  20. This is what I've been doing. An awful of people who still don't know about what it is to be transgender. Even in the LGB community the knowledge is lacking.
  21. I have never read this in my 40+ years of being a Christian. I did an in-depth study on this using Hebrew texts. I may do another study on this. It will be helpful whenever someone confronts me with scripture alleged opposing my being transgender.

When women smile at me I smile back. I'm more aware of having good posture.
