  1. WHAT'S IN A NAME in Michellecon's blog

Does the use of the label 'tranny' tgirl, shemale lady-boy, tv, or ts rub you up the wrong way. Perhaps it dilutes the effort that you have put in to becoming the woman you have aspired to or are aspiring to be. For me the use of some of these labels is profoundly offensive and even with tongue in cheek are very difficult to accept. Why! To answer this we need to define what they mean to us. I will accept that some people are quite relaxed about their usage, so this is not an attack on everybody who refuses to accept my view.

It is my opinion that we need as people undergoing a sex reassignment to be outlawing terminology such as tranny, tgirl etc. We cease to be transexuals once the cross the rubicon and become a woman. At that point we are female - not a trans and not a transgender. I think yo be called this would be highly insulting. Think of what you have had to endure to reach a point where you can truly say you are a woman. The flippant use of these loosely defined labels should have no place in your vocabulary.
