skyliving.sky.com: ...Camille said that she had to do a good job because how could a transgender do better than "an actual, real woman"?
Isis: She told me after the shoot...she said she didn't mean how it sounded...

When people make a bigoted or ignorant remark, why do they think that others are so stupid as to fall for/accept their claim that what was said was taken out of context, or that they didn't mean it the way it sounded?

Really? What other way could that kind of comment possibly be... what? Taken? Interpreted? Misconstrued?

She said what she meant, and she meant what she said. And the way I see it, the model, Camille, is intolerant.

You know what? UNO, I feel the same way you feel about the matter. That so called apology.Hum..sounded disingenuous at best.
If I would have said something like that, and then made an apology like that to my grandmother.....
Well she would have put a bar of soap in my mouth...REALLY!! ;) < I just love the tast of dove..lol>
Then I noitced this little ditty in that interview, quote "How come you had to wear dodgy silver leggings when the other girls went bare-legged?"
"Honestly, I don't know. I told them I didn't want to wear them. They styled the outfit like that. Out of everyone in the house I was the one who never really liked to have on clothes. I was shocked - I looked at everyone else and I wanted to wear less."
What the hell is that all about???? O I see because you are a TG girl you get to dress different; you have to have more clothes on than the others; maybe something will pop out???... RIGHT!!! That's not fair at all just plain WRONG!!! <_<
Ms. Tirade <aka Tyra> Best check her self....I'm not kidding

"Then I noitced this little ditty in that interview, quote [skyliving.sky.com] "How come you had to wear dodgy silver leggings when the other girls went bare-legged?"
[Isis] "Honestly, I don't know. I told them I didn't want to wear them. They styled the outfit like that. Out of everyone in the house I was the one who never really liked to have on clothes. I was shocked - I looked at everyone else and I wanted to wear less."" -Plague

Yeah...I noticed that too and wondered WTH ("WTH" << got that from Lori ). I thought in such contests that all contestants were to work with all the same [materials], and that their own talent would determine how they used what they were given, producing an outcome on which they would be judged.

I sorta wondered if Isis was the only one wearing those leggings because she is a transwoman - like, "let's tag this one so we don't forget she's not real." Despite the modeling world being full of gay and trans people...just seems to me that the panel of judges on ANTM are transphobic - and I don't even watch the show. I saw a part of a season several years ago, which did not have a transparticipant. The rest of what I know about ANTM is from I what I read about it here on the forums.

STOP Picking on Ms.Lori ...LOL!! Poor little Blonde girl!!...LOL..
<If Ms.Lori see this I'm DOA!! ..LOL> :P
I happy the reporter ask that question, and Ms. Isis had a chance to respond to it. Hopefully the more this gets attention the less likely trans floks will have to put up with the media bios.... <_< ...Ya Right!!
