I wondered when I read the article how accurate the report was.  They called the victim a "transgendered male," and referred to the victim as a male all throughout the article.  

(Headline):  Teen Charged with Beating Transgender Male

"...[Kelley] beat up a man because he is transgendered."

"The victim told police he went to meet Kelly..."

"...Kelley attacked him, punching him until..."

When I decided to watch the video, I then found out that the victim was actually a [trans]woman.

Way t' go, WREG!  Plain to see where you people stand when it comes to basic respect.

I just noticed today that Lori obviously also thought it was a [trans]man who had been beaten up, as she had placed a tag on this thread that reads "ftm."

You are right -- I didn't watch the video so I was confused by the article. Disgusting that the victim of this crime is further victimized by insensitive reporting. It's awful.
