pushkal : (25 November 2014 - 05:34 AM) Hello to all
jennifer38 : (25 November 2014 - 04:36 AM) Good morning all.  Its after 7 AM Eastern.  Cold weather's coming back to PA.  Yuck.  Anyway, in response to someone I read, I would like to start a thread on my unique issues.  I wonder if this is what intersexed is.  When setting up my account, I wasn't sure which gender option to choose.  All I know is, I want to honestly state my true physical makeup as a man, but just as honestly confess my internal female feelings.  I've always wanted to meet other people in my exact situation.  I trust I am not alone in this, and this forum is a great way to vent these feelings I cannot just tell anyone.  At least I shouldn't be criticized or judged for this.  I'd certainly get it if I told family and church members.  I've hinted at it to my family, but I definitely did not go into all the vivid detail like I'm doing here.
pushkal : (25 November 2014 - 02:09 AM) I had purchased The Ultimate Genital Hiding Gaff Pink "Satin"
pushkal : (24 November 2014 - 11:25 PM) I want to appear in public as transgender
UsernameOpti... : (24 November 2014 - 10:39 PM) Hello jennifer38, and welcome.  Perhaps you would consider starting a thread on this topic - there may be others who encounter the same issues.
jennifer38 : (24 November 2014 - 07:57 PM) Here's where things get tricky.  I like my short hair and men's clothes, but my inner self feels feminine, and it is for that reason I crave the right to use ladies' bathrooms.  My inner and outer selves are constantly at war.  I've been deathly afraid to openly tell anybody outside the TG community.  I'm glad I can open up, here.  Please, any ladies on here, talk to me when you can.  I'd like that.

This is a play produced here , ( Ashland Virginia ) near Richmond Virginia that deals with a transman now known as Martin.

The playwright Ms. Devon E. Mattys , herself a Graduate student of Phycology at Randolph Macon College wanted to do a play on her prior year of Gender study at the school.

The play consists of five people . In appearance Jeff, Martins Brother played by Taylor Cambell, Martin , played by Michael Perez, Phillip the Kids Dad , played by Damiano Girona, Buckley, played by Derek Gayle' and Susan, Phillips Wife and nurse Oliva Klaers.

The setting is New York and Russell Kansas 2005.

Directed by Ms. Keri Wormaid a faculity member herself at RMC

The story starts with Martin sitting in front of his "walk Up " in New York waiting impatiently for his brother . Suddenly, he shows and a argument soon evolves . Somewhat beknowist to our star Transman Martin , the brother describes how his dad Phillip is laying in a hospital room in Kansas dying and wanting his former Daughter Mariah , ( Martin ) to come back one more time . Now we've all seen this scenario before. Families are well known for throwing we Transpeople out like yesterdays trash .

Martin soon gets tired of waiting and enters his apartment to have his Lover , Buckley greet him. He tries desperately to console Martin . He soon leaves and is greeted by his older Brother Jeff. Jeff gives Martin a plane ticket to Kansas to visit his dad .The two go on an on about how Martin is no longer wanted or needed .

The next scene opens with us meeting his Dad, almost comatose in a hospital bed with nurse/ wife Susan at his side . The Father starts to call out the name , "Mariah ", his daughter who has been Martin for several years . The older brother comes in to check on the status of his dad. he reads passages from the Bible .

Now the next scene evolves where Martin is now dressed as Mariah. Yeah, it got interesting really quickly . I could see the reaction as the audience really wasn't ready for such a move as the story up to this point was really cloudy .The Nurse / Jeff, give Martin/ Mariah a once over and soon, another argument ensues as to finance , will, etc .

Mariah returns trying to make amends to her Dying Father . This causes yet another round of profanity and fighting amongst the cast which causes the father to have a heart attack ultimately killing the Dad off.

It was here that the boys , uh one boy, a sister- in- law/ nurse and of course Martin who now has a "Melt Down " on stage . Martin now strips on stage and declares himself a woman and demands that everyone respect her as a man. It was here I saw "Flash Backs of the Movie , Elephant Man where in the star exclaimed , I AM A MAN ! I AM NOT A FREAK. yes, it was a real eyeopener ,even to me .

The final scene is really a heart to heart talk between Nurse  Susan and Martin . They had somehow come to accept Martin , but only slightly . Somehow , the father had reconciled his Daughter even though he was hollering "Mariah"  all while he was on his Death bed . The play ended with the surviving all sitting around a table having a chance to reminisce the life of Phillip, the dad and how Martin would go about living his new life as a man in New York.

Meanwhile , I'm trying to make arrangements for this production to be done here in Richmond . I so want ALL to view us , not as "Circus Side show freaks ", but as humans who have hearts , a life and a soul.
