This is definitely a wonderful time to be a citizen of Maryland. Now I kind of lived there when I was a citizen of D C . I almost moved there officially .Plans changed and I wound up in Houston.

I don't know when Dr. Beyer transitioned (unless I somehow missed that info), but couldn't help but notice how much this woman provided and made available her medical services to people in need, and people with little or no insurance. A woman, who until only recently, would have been summarily refused insurance coverage in nearly any corner of this country for anything trans-related, and in some cases refused even basic medical care simply for being transgender.
