I had found out years ago that my mom would have named me Roxanne if born as a "physical" female. When making the choice to transition I then chose that as my new name.
My mom still doesn't know about my dysphoria but when I tell her I'm sure my name choice will help lessen the blow...
But then that's just me....

Hey Karen,
Sounds like a fun drive and reminds me of motorcycle club rides I used to participate in. A question, does the Miata have paddle shifters?

Thank you so much Steph... I AM enjoying this journey and actually going to meet friends from my monthly group for dinner this evening. Nails done, nice top and jeans...should be fun!

Thanks so much Christie and Monica!
I had heard about Payless and will definitely check it out! I'll also take some time this evening and check out the 2 sites recommended above...
Shopping will be so much fun!
Thanks girls!

Well since my clean up will be completed, I will be taking the time to get back into my passions which are writing, playing and recording music. I used to own a commercial recording studio and still have all the equipment and instruments. I'll be removing the "rust" from not having played in a while so out will come the guitars, basses and drums!
Definitely quality Roxanne time!

All is well now, I chalk it up as a couple of lessons learned about taking care of my own needs versus others who don't deserve it!
Thanks so much for asking.

But a word of caution, please , please be sure it's what you want, it doesn't take long with this treatment to reach the "point of no return".
May the point of no return come and go. I am very ready and looking forward to all the wonderful and permanent changes this will bring me!
Thank you so much for your kind words Eve...breaking the isolation is a very important part of transition and you are helping with this!
