Hi I am Sophie and I am one year into my full transition, its been a long road to get where I am today with many ups and downs along the way, but I have survived.

First here is a poem about me....

A woman of substance a girl it would seem, A lady of class and a child with a dream.

All of these things in my life are my own, I will give them to you, should you ever come home.

I look into your eyes and see a rainbow coloured sun,

In silent thoughts her mind meets mine and we two become as one.

You lay your head up on my chest and not a word is spoke, I sigh in deep contentment,

'twas then that I awoke'.

The empty place beside my own, your prescence is amiss,

I didn't wake to find you there, nor steal a gentle kiss.

I long to hold you close to me, to know you tender charms, To smell your sweet aroma,

and feel the warmth of your loving arms.

Hope you all like that poem,I think its so lovely it just about sums up my life at the moment.

I am Tall, passionate and a superb cook! Intelligent, articulate and well travelled.

I enjoy good conversation, I have a wonderful sometimes wicked sense of humour. my main hobby is amateur wildlife photography I have travelled exstensively throughout Canada/Alaska pursuing my hobby of you know the sort, whales,polar bears and I enjoy cruise ship holidays. First and foremost friendship is important and then if anything develops well thats a bonus. I enjoy a glass of red wine occasionally.

As for my music tastes well first and foremost it has to be classical/opera music, so relaxing, I also collect old 50s 60s 70s pop videos, film wise it has to be lord of the rings, followed by the importance of being earnest, gettysburg, because I study the american civil war and the plight of the north american indians (do you know bury my heart at wounded knee) and of course any charles laughton/john mills film.

I run my own small business in logistics (its only small but I enjoy what I do) and my own beauty website.

Did you know, every encounter is a good encounter in life, it brings with it the riches of experience to a relationship and the knowledge to carry it on...

I can fairly be described as a fit honest warmhearted girl with a capacity of being very playful! I am warm, tactile and sensuous. A confident, fun loving girl with an easy laid back personality, generally of a happy disposition with a warm smile sociable and very giving nature. I am average in stature, intelligent, take pride in my appearance but love to kick around in jeans too!
