I was inspired by Lisa Ling's work on her Our America show regarding transgender lives.

At the end of the show I felt myself wanting to know more. I have my own struggles as a lesbian, I

can't imagine some of the extreme struggles of those that are going thru their lives stuck in a body

that they know they don't belong in.

I was introduced to a mtf in a small social group we attended and was just beginning to find out some of her

struggles before the group disbanded.

Another woman yrs ago mentioned that she was in the wrong body and if she had the money she would

change so her body matched her inner man.

Now Chaz will be coming out with his docu on OWN hopefully shedding light on the subject and taking some of the

mystery out of this so that society in general doesn't see this as freakish....

I'm here to explore and gain some knowledge that I too can help fight the fight of awareness and nonjudgemental thinking.
