Hand size and shape

I have been only recently aware of the hand traits that indicate transgender possibilities.  Both the size and shape appear to be factors developed in the womb and could hold a key to why a person is transgender.  For me I have both the size and shape in my hands that would indicate I am a woman.  Here is a link to an article explaining this.  https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17906922/

Dear Dawn,

Like Raina, I am confused by the article, which I think is an abstract.

In my case, I have always had disproportionately large hands and feet. My trigger finger is even with my fourth finger, and my middle finger sticks out from these two fingers by almost an inch. Am a cisgender mid-butch Lesbian.

Yours truly,

Monica

Dear Dawn,

Now that I looked at my right and left hands again, I do notice an eighth of an inch to a quarter of an inch difference between the two fingers.

Will put my hand on a piece of paper and trace my hand to be sure.

Growing up, I always was a tomboy, but I also loved dressing up, especially for the holidays.

Knew I liked girls romantically, since age four,  although I wouldn't know the word "Lesbian" for over a decade.

My jury is still out by the finger business, although I wouldn't be surprised if this is proven true.

Some could argue that being raised with all boys could have influenced my sexual orientation, but I am dead sure my sexual orientation is organic.

Know that sometimes unrelated genes are passed on together. This is called linked genes.

Yours truly,

Monica

Not sure how much stock I put in that. Mine seem to be the same as near as I can measure. What ever that means. Guess it may be interesting to see how well it holds, if others would try to measure.

220px-Hand_photograph_dorsal1_copy.jpg  How to measure - My ratio is 1.2 (Off the scale female) Raina try to measure this way.  When I tried to eyeball my finger length I thought they were almost the same.  But using this method I really was able to see the difference. :)  Again - Image shows the measurement procedure of dorsal digit length using vernier calipers. The hand is placed on the edge of a table so that fingers are rested on table while making an angle of 90 degrees to the palm.

For the first time I am seeing some solid data that shows that I am indeed likely inter-sexed.  1.2 ratio is so far on the right of the scale/off scale - My hand size and shape does support my past thoughts that both my brain and body received a good dose of the womb wash intended to go with me becoming female.  This ratio I received was even way more than a normal female.  Notable traits I have include arm length, hips, foot size/width, mouth and face size and overall bone structure; knee angles, etch, are those of a woman that later was dosed with testosterone.   I have been measured several times and remember once being told my bones measurements matched several women and that I had a Q angle in my knee that is almost always a woman,s trait. There are also several syndromes that could also explain my body size and structure being mostly female.

Here is a  photo from a few days ago of me wearing a running outfit that I had not worn in years.  I have actually slimmed down to where it is fitting me so much better so I felt comfortable in wearing it again.  I think , my arms are now really showing the effect of the Feungreek.  Much softer and smaller.  But maybe I was predisposed to this anyway as my hand ratio may support.  :)

I had never heard of placing the hand on the edge of a table and creating that 90 degree angle.  It seems to make the difference in ring finger length as compared to the index finger more pronounced.

Did you know? ----  Ring finger length is one of the reasons that a hate group was calling Michelle Obama a transsexual.

Dear Mike and Dawn,

Hate groups and haters will find any excuse to hate.

Had someone call me a "red head," because I have a red undertone in my hair, trying to say that meant I had a bad temper, excusing their hate. Hair color has no correlation to temperament.

People who hate will excuse their hate by any silly reason.

Your friend,

Monica

I am sure the physical traits of our hands are only possible indicators.  Does not mean that a person always fits the possibilities that such data supports.  In fact, I am sure many/most people do not feel any difference other than just being normal.  But combined with other factors, it does help me to understand some of why I am inclined to be transgender. :)
