Hey all. I am very interested in music, I have been all my life. Ok, so its not really relative to anything with gender or our usual topics of convo, but I just wanted to alert everyone that the new Fall Out Boy CD is out and anyone who appreciates a good voice, let me warn you, Patrick Stump (their vocalist) is a voice thats as close to God as anyone will hear. Surfing the web and looking at TG webpages, sometimes I've come across the idea of the "T-dar", that transfolk can be spotted (by some people). What got me interested in this is that back in high school I was often called fag, queer, or homo and got into a couple of physical fights because of it (no suprises there!) and while that happened to a couple of other kids, there was one insult that I only ever heard used on me: "dude, you're not male, I reckon you're a girl or something!" Yesturday at the end of my therapy session, my therapist mentioned that he thought I was "Gender Conservative" or somthing like that, i don't remember the exact way he put it. he said he mentioned it at the end because he wanted me to think about it before our next session, but I have no idea what he means by it. does anyone have any ideas?

Do you think that you are truelly in need of hormones to change you into a woman or a man, does this concept control you in some sort of way good bad indifrent maybe...I am only courious as to why the thought of hormones can cure our ills they dont change us in a drastic way they wont mirakulously change us over night into the woman ( or man ) we know we are to be so what is it about them that makes our minds turn to them in such a fasion? I'm sure most of the girls here know what it's like to want to have a baby of their own but be unable, so I thought I'd ask here. A few members here, in response to the news of pregnant man, have expressed the desire to be pregnant, give birth, breastfeed, and raise children as a mother. However, we all know this is impossible. Even adopting is out of the question for many transsexuals, thanks to nonexistent antidiscrimination laws. I would love to be a mother, but there are many reasons, only some of which have to do with being stuck in a male body, that I have chosen not to have children. Alex is a rather large breeder pig who lives on a cattle ranch where I've been allowed to visit the horses. He is considered somewhat of a pet there. In an effort to stave off getting "cabin fever" I try to find winter projects. Well, what to do? earlier this year I bought an antique sewing table (to use for a TV stand). I was wondering why the thing was so darned heavy. Well, opened it up and guess what? There's a Singer sewing machine from the 1940's. Wow !!! With all the attachments!!! I know I am new here but after reading some of these posts I wonder how many others feel the same. As with my family and co workers they claim to be Religous and according to the Bible being gay or Trans is not Gods way and is a sin. First there are those who claim to be Religous but havent been to a church in years or maybe their whole life and those like my family who are very strict in their Religous beliefs and do go to church. I was asked by the leader of our bimonthly fellowship if I would like to teach a lesson. I said that I would. I am the only transgender person in the group so this is a welcome opportunity share what it is to be a gender variant individual. Transgender basics about the different expressions of gender and the role transgender people have played in history are a couple of topics that I have in mind. There are probably other topics that could be discussed. I'll have to think about it. I welcome the opportunity to share what it is to be transgender and a cross dresser. Well, it has been 4-months now that I've been seeing my therapist, and during the 3thrd month, she addressed the situation to my attention, that financially I would never have enough to start my hormone therapy nor surgery to change myself from MTF.
