Hi I am new here and I am from the New England area. I have felt like I was born in the wrong sex since I was 7. I have tried to surpress it and have been doing a pretty good job at that for 11 years until now. I cannot control it anymore, it controls my life. after 19 years in the Military I gave up my Pension at a faily young age. I am so disgused with my male body and because of the cost of SRS I cant afford it and I feel like I cant do HRT because I would have to give up my present job and fear I would have a rought time finding another. I dont have any friends because I pushed them away because I wasnt into doing what they wanted to do and because of the fear if the…

:) We can talk about my boobs or your boobs. I am not so large yet, but I am very proud. I went from a flat as a pancake bird chest to a good 36-B so far. When I ride my bicycle, I can feel them bounce about. I've taken up shadow dancing. Partly because I'm bored and partly because I can watch my boobs bouncing. So, tell me your boob stories. Does anyone have a good link about boobs? Informational, humoristic, etc. Remember, nothing too naughty. - Virginia - Do you think I'll get in trouble for this one? Cast your vote.

For the past few weeks my close friend DJ, has been by my side since the moment I've gone public in my MTF transitioning. DJ has been staying at my apartment for a while, and recently I wanted her to hear my new transitioned voice sounding more feminine, but doing the past few days I'm beginning to notice a change in our friendship, DJ who was talkative to me, now she is quite which began to worry me. So I asked her did she feel uncomfortable with me walking around the apartment with long hair, wearing lipstick, and in women clothing? DJ replied back to me "not at all" but deep down inside I think she does, which is making feel a bit nervous? She tells me that she likes m…

Being unemployed, I sought medical care this month from the Veterans Administration. My intake involved a standard physical, the doctor checked and wrote scripts for the meds I've run out of. It's surprised me that some of them have already arrived in the mail and have refills for a full year! I asked about GID medical treatment. Unfortunately they do not do HRT much less SRS. However, they will support me while I take HRT from a private doctor with blood work, etc. However, they are aware of the Transgendered American Veterans Association and gave their card. (website -- www.tavausa.org) Because I am a depressive, they also got me a walk-in with the social work…

we've all entered into discussion at some time or another as to whether or not god makes mistakes. our loving cisgender heterosexual brothers and sisters say that he does not - meaning that we were all born the sex/gender we were meant to be, and that we should fulfill our assigned roles thusly. well... i have found proof that god DOES make mistakes... .............CLICKETH THOU HERE <snickers like mugsly from the whacky racers> NOTE: if you read this after 19 october, be sure to choose 19 october 2008 to view the comic strip that applies to this thread. the date can be found below the strip -michael

As most of you know, I don't plan on ever transitioning--and I'm a lesbian. I spoke to an older lesbian recently; she suggested that I try to meet lesbians my age and told me that if she were my age, she could "almost" fall in love with me. (She knows I'm a girl and says she can really see it.) This surprised me, because I look unmistakeably male in my physical appearance. (It's mostly people who can't see me who think I'm a genetic woman.) I had read about women in men's bodies finding lesbian partners, but because of how I look, I thought I would be more likely to be my state's candidate for Miss America than to ever have a lesbian partner. Also, I recently me…

Long story short I have gender dysphoria. It was interesting but disturbing seeing just how much I have in common mentally with transgendered people. It seems I've taken an unusual or unheard of path however. Complete transition just sounds too dangerous what with all the bigots out there, legally changing gender while not having an extremely rare type of family /etc/... So even though I identify as very feminine in personality, I masquerade as gender neutral. Trying to do what I can to be somewhat passable without getting completely screwed over if I'm discovered. This means no buying appearance altering products which may be suspicious, no going to doctors for anything …

Something just happened that I just had to post and tell everyone. My folks had gone to the store and when they got back my dad noticed he lost a ring I had given him years ago.I suggested calling the store just in case someone turned it in. My mom who really is an optimist and feels I'm a pessimist was the pessimist this time. She didn't think if someone found it that they would turn it in.I told her you never know.My dad tried to call but the phone was busy so he drove all the way back there. He went to the counter and enquired about it not really expecting anything but the lady behind the counter said that a lady had just turned a ring in knowing someone would be looki…

Recently I had my first appointment with an endrocologist in Duluth, which my internal medicine Doc. set up. We discussed many aspects of my transition. Eventually he will send me to the Twin Cities for further tests and maybe my Orchi. He said I should try Climara because of the liver. I took the prescription to my local Walmart and got the shock of my when they told me the cost would be over $400.00 and the generic would be Over $300.00 !!! I didn't take the meds. I also told the Endro Dr. that I can get the meds at a considerable savings by going offshore; he also suggested the Sandrena sachetles. This also a transdermal method. Why the incredible cost for the Climara?

Hello, My name is Stevie, and I am looking for a doctor in Minnesota to begin the male to female transformation. I was wondering if any of you know a good physician to see for the first time. I would be grateful for any suggestions any of you may have in helping me with this. I didn't even know where to start until I ran across this site. So please help me to become the woman I believe I was born to be. Thank-you Stevie

I just found out that my current boyfriend of 2 1/2 years was dating a pr-op MTF trassexual befor me. He dated her for seven years and he did not recieve but he did preform oral. I am in no way judgmental towards transsexuals. I am feeling very confused about the possibility that he likes penis, something I will never be able to offer. He says he loves me and is not gay or even bisexual. I don't really understand how that's possible. I came across paperwork that showed his exes gender to be male; that's when I found out - and confronted him. I know that he loved this woman, and sex can be complicated. I just feel that I'm getting to old to stay with a man if he is just in…

Well, it wasn't supposed to happen, I'd been assured, but I've become unemployed. My wife and I are completely broke and I expect I'll soon be evicted with nowhere to go. Why wasn't it supposed to happen, you might ask? Because while these trumped-up charges have been building, another department's manager offered me a position with him should this happen. When he asked the VP why I was terminated, instead, the VP said the office was too small. Since there are 3 empty offices and 4 empty cubicles, not counting my now vacant cube, it's not for lack of a workspace. My "new" manager is going to investigate but thinks his employee, a young male described to me as intol…

Hi! Everybody, Though you see me comment from time to time and I haven't done much of that lately,I am here everyday seeing how everyone is doing..Although I have sent a few private messages. I figured I'd just let you know what's been going on with me.I'm still at the same place I've been since I joined this wonderful internet community.First I'd like to say I hope everyone who lives down south is safe and ok.You've been through alot down there lately. I have been in the same location to long now and plan to leave hopefully sometime before winter sets in.I have relied on the kindness of my folks long enough plus at my age I shouldn't be here in the first place anyway.…

While I realize that for many here androgyny is nothing more than a necessary evil - an uncomfortable, inconvenient and awkward stage that one must simply endure as part of the process of transition. However, some of us actually identify as androgynes, third gender, non-gendered or twin spirit people (I personally identify as both androgyne and transwoman). At any rate, I happened across this site called Genderfork, which, according to the site admin, "...explores androgyny and gender variance through artistic photography." I understand that this is probably not everyone's cup of tea, but hopefully some will find it as interesting and enjoyable as I have. http://w…
