  1. I just had a thought that I wanted to toss around to get some opinions on. Yesterday I met this young man that was 6 foot 7 inches tall. He wore a size 16 boot. His hands were very big, one of his fingers was the equivalent of two of mine. I just couldn't help but wonder.... If I was that huge would I completely toss out any ideas of myself being transgendered and wanting to be a woman? I tried picturing this very large young man dressed to the hilt as a female. It was kind of a funny thought. I don't think that I would want to be a woman being that huge. I would love to hear some of your opinions on this. You really had to be here to see this guy.

The other thread got me to thinking of a hypothetical scenario. Let's say if it becomes possible to swap male and female parts 'down there', and was a relatively safe procedure, would you team up with a trans person of the other gender and trade? How much would your decision be influenced by partial functionality (but better than current procedures) vs full functionality? How much would knowing the 'part' belonged to someone else influence your decision? Me... I don't know if I'd go through with it. MIWBJ

ok, I don't know what is going on, but I'm still not on HRT yet as I've been waiting for three weeks now to receive my letter, but that's a different subject. 1. Why am I trying my best not to use foul language, when I used to swear like a trooper? 2. Why is it that all I want to do is talk to my friends about my feelings, their feelings, how their kids are doing, how my kids are doing and just being REALLY in to feelings and emotions, how my friends are feeling etc etc when before I wasn't too concerned. 3. Why is it that when I put on a boys shirt ( I still have two or three lying around ) I feel repulsed ? 4. Why am I getting upset about my hair all of the time? …

Well I have an appointment for laser hair removal on my face on the 15th. Well, it's my consultation. I was priced at about £150-£200 per session, well, that's all of my spare cash gone if I go through with it, which I know I am. But they said it would take about 7-8 sessions on average. The sessions would be like every 8 weeks or so.

Being six foot eight I was very worried that I would never pass for female. Despite this, I seem to have been fairly successful over the past year. Even before I started transitioning I've always stood out in a crowd. The comments went from, "Wow, that guy's tall!" to "Ha ha! Look at the fag." to "Is that a guy or a girl?" and finally "Wow, that's a tall chick!" What really takes the cake, however, is an incident that happened today. I've been working at a new job for about a month now. This is the first job I've ever had where nobody knew me as a guy. Today one of my coworkers came up to me and asked if I could spare a tampon. Now, I'm not exactly stealth, so I was a…

Hello! I am 22 y/o college student. I am physically male but am move between states of a female, androgynous, and male minds. It is one of many reasons why I have been hesitant to decide if I sould transition from MtoF. I am bisexual and out to my family. They don't like it but they don't say anything to me about it much anymore. I would like to find someone I can talk to about transitioning. I have many fears and concerns about it. Anyone willing to be like a transgender parent would be great. I don't have many people I can talk to about it. I just need someone that can give me hope that life as a transiuioned women can be good and safe, and not these dark tragic stories…

  8. it's pretty much well known that the suicide rate among transgendered people, and especially the transsexual, is very high. though i no longer think of, or even consider suicide, it became a constant thought about a year after entering puberty... and remained something i continually plotted for about 2 years - at least all of 7th and 8th grade. i do not know if the medical world has taken note of the most vulnerable time period for TS people, and so i wondered if there may be a pattern...perhaps something that could be considered in preventing TSs from committing suicide. if there is any one period that is most vulnerable...it may help those who come here t…

Did any of you notice a change in the texture of your nipples during your transition? Mine seem to be getting tougher, skin seems thicker.

Hi, I was thinking a few things through this morning and suddenly a realisation dawned upon me. Maybe this is me being to sensitive or just bias, or maybe I'm actually right in my thinking. That's why I've decided to post. I've started to notice that there seems to be a lot of tolerance for FTM Transexuals and society seems to " accept " them more than MTF Transexuals. Now I'm not suggesting for one minute that we go through more than FTM's of course not, or that FTM's have it easier that would be ridiculous as each of us has to battle this through to become who we are. Like I said, I maybe subconsciously bias, this is just my opinion of what I've seen and read, …
