This article has been posted elsewhere on the TGGuide message board, however, it is so critically important to those considering transition that we are going to include it as a pinned topic. We have an article online from Melanie Anne Phillips about how to develop a feminine voice. You will find audio and video samples from Melanie as well. The page also includes a list of free Internet resources to help develop your female voice. This is a good starting point for developing your female voice. Developing your feminine voice takes time and work, but the results are well worth the effort. Virtually anyone can achieve a reasonably passable female voice with consiste…

I watch a lot of videos on YouTube, as well as movies on Netflix and Hulu. But I never see women with either the amount, or the style and placement of tattoos like I do. I've posted pictures of my ink in an album, but I'm wondering if they make me less feminine. The only things that aren't tattooed are my feet, butt, and genitals. Literally everything else has a tattoo on it. Legs, stomach, chest, back, arms, fingers, neck, and face. A fair number of which I would consider fairly masculine. I'm planning a few coverups, as the tattoo either is screwed up, or something I just don't want anymore. Currently there are 4 coverups in my mind. This is something that has been runn…

Forced into a vulvoplasty due to exposure to agent orange in 1985. Member of Blackwater mercenary group for 45 years. Diagnosed with dermatomyositis (muscles detaching from tendons) by mayo 18 years ago. Past February, at deaths door...pain unbearable. Testicles to the point I could not move. My doctor / surgeon recommended removal. He discovered that my testicles although appearing normal size, aspiration showed they were the size of a peanut. Still producing some kind of messed up testosterone. The pain I had suffered for the past 17 years was finally gone. I had 9 penis implants. All had issues. Finally decided to remove implant and give up on sex. 67 years…

  7. Greetings from a transgender sister temporarily trapped in Florida the land of ever-increasing Fascism. I will shoot straight as an arrow. I'm on disability because of autism and the occasional seizures that I have are due to autism as well. At this time, here in Florida legislation has been passed such that even though I've 2+ years on HRT it's going to impede my ability to continue to get hormones once I run out of my refills. I'm looking to move to northern California and am hoping to make some contacts and/or learn about some of the support groups and do my best to find a temporary room or other setup to rent. My options on such short notice are very limite…

Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I’ve been looking into gender affirmation surgery for a long time and there are a few questions I haven’t found an answer to, hoping you can help me out with this. Some of my questions have to do with sex and things like that, is it okay to just go ahead and ask? Thanks

Hi my name or the name I want is Amber I’m currently 19 and living in Canada I’ve had a feeling since before I was In high school that I wished I was a woman or that I wasn’t comfortable in my own body. After my first year at university I met some people and told them what I’m feeling I want to transition, but I’m scared That I might be doing the wrong thing. Is it to late to transition at 19 and if so does anyone have any tips?

  10. it's pretty much well known that the suicide rate among transgendered people, and especially the transsexual, is very high. though i no longer think of, or even consider suicide, it became a constant thought about a year after entering puberty... and remained something i continually plotted for about 2 years - at least all of 7th and 8th grade. i do not know if the medical world has taken note of the most vulnerable time period for TS people, and so i wondered if there may be a pattern...perhaps something that could be considered in preventing TSs from committing suicide. if there is any one period that is most vulnerable...it may help those who come here t…

Hello my name is Jeff and I’m 30. I recently came to a realization in my life that I might identify as a women but want to seek advise because I am attracted to women and married and don’t want to hurt my wife. My realization came recently when I decided to shave my entire body. It felt liberating and a little more like who I’m meant to be, I’ve been dressing like a women whenever my wife isn’t home panties, dresses, leggings and ,bras when I do this I feel at home but also repulsed at my current body wishing that I looked how I felt in my wife’s clothing. I have moments of being comfortable with myself but always when I am very busy. I never thought about this …

I would like to share conversation I had with a male 'admirer' on another site last night (Tuesday 19th July) I had been in the chat room as usual and a male who I have talked to regularly made a statement which shook me to the core. We were in a private chat as id the norm, and he let me know that another person was trying to talk to him, he gave no indication of sex so I asked "Girl or boy" his reply, was astonishing "boy pretending to be girl I guess?" My crossdressing has always been to fulfil a deeply personal need to allow the feminine side of my personality to express itself, even though the site in question is primarily a contact site there are transwomen on…

  14. The reason I ask is after many years one might have physical problems related to scar tissue with the functioning of surgically related the surgery. I'm particularly interested in urinary problems. I'm also interested in knowing if anyone has had issues with silicone injections, and if problems occurred over a very long period of time. I can also answer questions about sexual function and longevity. I have lived most of my life as someone considered cis gender. That is, I have very few persons who know about my transitioning and therefore, I'm in the dark about many thing perhaps are common knowledge today. If you have recommendations of good physicians who a…

  15. (I apologize in advance for anything possibly offensive I might say. This is my first time ever going into this much detail about this.) Hello. For the time being, I am choosing to keep my name private for personal comfort. I am not sure how active this forum still is, but this seemed like a good place to look for possible help, or even advice. I am 22 years old. For my entire life, I have lived as the gender I was assigned at birth, Male. However, once again I am questioning my gender identity. This is not the first time I have; however, this is the first time it has been this intense or serious before. I can count two other times t…

I need to get the facts about the pros and cons of each, and would like some opinions as well. I can’t decide which would be the best for not only GCS, but FFS as well. I’ve heard that Thailand is one of the best places in the world for trans procedures. But I don’t know if the US would be a better option as we have some amazing surgeons here too. So I need to know what everyone here says. And like I said, I’m wanting both facts and opinions.

  17. I've been on hormones and in transition for about 6 years, if I remember correctly, now. My voice has softened, my breasts are much larger, body hair is thinner and less coarse, and I'm much more comfortable in my own skin. Adrianne and I have talked, and I feel I'm ready to go for GCS. I'm going for zero depth. The work and effort to maintain a healthy neovagina with depth is more than I feel I could keep up with. I want to know what it feels like to be penetrated, but the cons outweigh the pros. But there are things I need to know first. 1 - I use electrolysis instead of laser due to tattoos. I have no ink on my genitals, but do I need to have the hair on…

  18. I had a brain fart and couldn’t think of the correct terminology for the subject, but I think it comes across fairly clear. I have full intentions on reassignment surgery in the future. But I honestly don’t know which way to go. I know if I went for depth I would be using a dilator for the rest of my life. Which sounds like a pain in the butt. But I don’t know if I would be fully happy going nondepth. So I wanted to ask everyone here what the pros and cons are of each. And to the ladies that have had the procedure, what were some of your reasons for your choice? I know I need as much research as I can get prior to the surgery. At the moment all I have had …

  19. Started by Ginny,

I am elderly male, but always been on the feminine side emotionally. Since I have aged my male parts have shrunk considerably and mostly receded, leaving me happy because now I look more female than male. Strangely I have become attracted to my 20 year younger sister in law; I wish I had a vagina. I know all I can ever do is dream about it, I have a very low testosterone level and my breast have grown, I'm wondering will my male parts become almost completely female ?

Hello everyone. My name is Kierin. I am new to the site and very new to addressing my gender dysphoria. I live in L.A., I’m a registered nurse completing my nurse practitioner certificate, and I said I’m trans, out loud, to another person for the first time today. I’m not exactly sure what that means for me at this point, but I’m hoping I can find some resources, support and friendship here. Happy Pride!

I’ve only had one procedure so far which was an orchiectomy about a year ago. I have intentions of going for full gender reassignment when I’m able and feel fully ready. But I wanted to see what you ladies who already have can offer as rules and pointers about personal care. I can google this type of thing, but every time I try, all I ever get is a bunch of sick porn sites. So I wanted to “get it from the horses mouth”, so to speak. I want to know absolutely everything I can before I begin the steps to a surgeon.

  25. What should I expect? Should I already doing some bra or sport bra shopping? The only way I see breast clevage is when I’m in the mirror pressing my breasts together and standing on my side I see small clevage. When I am facing front of the mirrior face ahead I don’t see any breast clevage when I’m pressing my breasts together. I read that transgender women who started late on HRT in older age won’t achieve the same as a teen transgender female breasts development.
