  3. Differences in the brain's white matter that clash with a person's genetic sex may hold the key to identifying transsexual people before puberty. Doctors could use this information to make a case for delaying puberty to improve the success of a sex change later. 5. Things have been going good for me this week.Went on my first date on Tuesday night with my new girlfriend Stephanie.Met her last week and things are going very well with her.She is in her transition to become the woman she sees herself as too, started in September.I like her because she understands the same thing I have been going through in my life. Was once married and also has a kid,a 14 year old son that has come to terms that his dad always felt he should of been born female. My parents finally came to terms tonight that I was never happy as my old self and I am now happy about myself.A few of my long time friends came back into my life, felt bad about saying I was out …

I have a much better life since I started my transition in August and it was a rough journey. My family knew I was holding on to a long painful secret and came out in June.My parents had a very hard time with it and now seeing a family therapist on this,it is starting to get better now.Mom thought it was her fault including my dad, told them it's not their fault. This is how I felt feeling I am really a woman from the inside. My sister has coped very well knowing she is getting a new sister in her life.I am on the estrogen including the testerone blockers now and love the changes to my body.Live and dress as a woman too getting rid of my entire male wardrobe.Worst parts were …

  8. Hi everyone, I've been starting to gather more information about surgery. It's still down the road, but I know there may be some lengthy timing considerations so I want to find out what I need to know so that I'm ready to proceed, well, when I'm ready to proceed :-) The one perplexing question that came up when I was researching cost estimates was about vaginoplasty and oriechtomy. I found that some people get oriechtomy before (or possibly even without) vaginoplasty. My question is, is the oriechtomy procedure part of vaginoplasty if you get that done? So basically, if i'm looking on a surgeon's website and seeing prices for the different procedures, do I have to fac…

Hi everyone, I just made an appointment for a consultation with an electrologist next Thursday and wanted to throw out a question - she said that it could be a year, with weekly 1-hour sessions, to finish. At this point I'm just planning to get my face done (the rest was removed via laser) - does that time frame sound right? Thanks! Christie

I did a search through the forums before writing this and I didn't come up with any results, so I thought I'd ask. Can trans-women get PMS even without a menstrual cycle? Beeeecause I'm pretty sure I'm on mine. I've always had something that I've lovingly referred to as a "hormone spike" that started when I was living with a two room mates, one of whom was female. Back then we were directly in sync so I attributed it to being more of a sympathy things as my symptoms were present but not pronounced. I was also living with a much lower dose of hormones back then and had been on them for a much shorter period. At least back then it was easy to know what was happening - if sh…

  14. I over purchased lubricant and have 10 4oz tubes (paid two dollars per bottle instead of say 6 to 12 dollars per bottle) from equate plus 3 bottles of the same brand of 8 oz and another brand 6 of 4 oz. So here is the deal, I will give the 10 tubes to anyone who will be going through GRS in the next say five months for free that are in the continental USA. The cost to you is picking up the shipping cost which I would provided after the fact. If you can afford the entire shipping cost pay what you can. Trust me when I say you will go through lube like there is no tomorrow in the first month or perhaps first two months. Expiration dates are 1/2017 For the record I am using…

What I have done for years is to have a pair of breast forms and a backup pair just in case. Well it appears my backup pair (never worn) will be collecting dust unless I sell them or give them away. So here is the deal, give me a really good reason to give them to you. I will allow this thread to be open for say a month or until I deem someone has provided a good reason why they should be given these forms. At that time I will have that person give me an address to ship them too and of course I will pick up the shipping. Let the games begin Forms, size 3 http://www.thebreastformstore.com/breast-form-store-gold-seal-classic2.aspx

What do a transgender need more? I wanna try and "hide" most my masul…

  21. Started by KarenPayne,

I just posted a blog entry which prompted me to write the following. I have been living as a female while still male for over a year and in that time could almost make myself look like a male but even then was addressed as a female most of the time. In that time I could talk about my ex-wife and children but what has changed since becoming female is the part about the ex-wife does not work anymore as it can be misconstrued and open up questions I am not willing to answer to some people. So I wanted to pass this on to others who may not have considered the fact that something in the past after transitioning may be awkward to provide a decent reply to if you don’t want t…

If you were sitting in a room with post-op's and/or some that have been 'out' full time and could ask them any question what would it/they be? I was never shy when given the opportunity and one of the best opportunities is finding local groups. Personally the group I found on the East Coast was not close but did go a few times and made it worth while by asking questions.

I saw a advertisement for GO GIRL, a product that allows females to pee standing up. I purchased one because you never know. One than once I have been stuck in traffic for a long time and had to pee when still a male and would pee into a water bottle which is messy but better than letting go in my pants or simply suffering. So I am keeping this in my glovebox of my car. If I were to get stuck in a traffic jam I could slip into the backseat, get into position (have tried it with my pants up) and pee. Cars besides me might see something but heck if I care at that point when there is no end in sight to the traffic jam. I normally travel a major road, speed limit is …

  24. Hi I just turned 18 and I really want to try sex with a tgirl im versatile but I don't know how or where to meet a tgirl and I just want to confirm my sexuality in the most respectful way possible. I've been watchin tgirl porn for 3 years now and I always feel bad after I finish and I don't know if it's just me on a porn tangent or me actually attracted to tgirls. I kept running into escorts but I don't want to meet anyone like that to be honest. Id rather see what it's like and if I like receiving anal penetration as much as I like i watching it this will confirm I just don't want to make any big movements into the community without testing the waters. PLEASE HELP! I nee…

This subject seems rarely discussed within the transgender community and may even be a little taboo, for this reason I will not go into any detail here, however I have provided a link to a study by Dr Anne Lawrence and also a blog.
