It doesn't seem to be talked about too much, it maybe taboo (imagine something “Taboo” on a TG forum, lol) or it just maybe because I don’t see many post-op girls here ... in any event I just thought I’d discuss for a moment “libido”, as it seems to have been on a rollercoaster ride beside me through all this. I know it varies for many Transwomen, whether it is pre or post transition and post GRS. For me; as a male I always had a variable libido depending on the partner and level of the relationship. It could however never have been considered low. In my last relationship as a male it was quite high in fact, Spironolactone didn’t even effect me at 1st (well I didn’t t…

Hey peoples. I am a judoka and recently fought at a competition. At 27 years old I am 5'11 and 155lbs. When I fought this weekend I fought in three matches to win gold in my weight class. One of my fights went into overtime and the other two were done under two minutes (the matches are timed for four). My question is, could I have had a competitive advantage? I trained hard for the fight and felt that my game plan helped a lot. However, do I really have to question myself if I win? What about all of my hard work training, didn't that mean a lot? Please do not hold back your opinions. I know this is a controversial subject. This is not me, but another transwoman who …

Well I'm at a very early stage in my transformation, and I'm not even sure if I want to go all the way. I gave out a few messages that I might be transsexual, and now, all of a sudden, I have guys touching me on the bum and stuff. I don't want to be overly aggressive, but these approaches are most unwelcome. Short of punching them in the face, and totally destroying the female persona I'm trying to develop, I'm unsure how to handle this. Advice please.

I was looking at pictures of me from a few months ago and I look so different now and my moustache and neck hair have grown back Im so sad and scared right now. Im so scared do you think 1 month of 16 year old boy puberty could do too much damage?? I started self medicating am I going to have to wait as long as I did the first time for my facial hair to stop growing? Will my face go back to looking like it used to look???? And it's a very long story as to why I had to stop taking HRT for a month and start self-medicating... very long.

I am getting a little concerned, I think it is a valid concern; my psychologist doesn’t seem to be worried about it. So here it is; is it normal to become forgetful after you’ve gone onto hormones? I have been on hormones since January and am doing fine otherwise, but I find that I am becoming forgetful, how to say it, well I am a blond and.....well the comparison is becoming reality. I am worried about it however because I simply forgot a whole week (in reference to my analyst's appointment), Needless to say she was very surprised when I showed up thinking I was on time and she knew I was a week late. Any help here would be much appreciated, am I worrying about nothing…

I've become to think I'm complete crap. I feel like people view me as mentally handicap and I feel mentally handicap somehow.... I feel like I could cure cancer and people would still think of me as bad since I'm transgender. I don't know what to do, I'm 17 and my family is in debt and poverty. I'm not sure if we will be able to overcome it and I know that we would be homeless right now if my grandfather wasn't paying our house payments. (I'm on the internet because I have an old laptop and I pick up someone else's internet connection.) My dad is trying to get me to do something with my future but I don't want to because of my self-esteem. I feel like the best thing I …

Hello Everyone, I would really appreciate any advice you may have for me. As far as I am along in this transition, more or less complete there are still some missing links. This is my Question? The department of motor vehicles continues to list my other name from the past. The girl at the counter said that my gender lists permanently as female and fortunately only my middle initial is indicated. My first name was obviously male in the past but with a slight change in pronounciation it could be interpreted as female. However because I was well known in my home town if anyone were to see my previous name they would very easily be able to figure out my pas…

I've been watchng a TV show lately about how humans evolved etc etc. This got me thinking to where Transpeople come in to evolution. I mean we must be here for a reason, if we served no purpose evolution/Natural selection would have discarded us a long time ago, but it seems transpeople have always been here for tens of thousnds of years, even in the most ancient of tribes we see trans people. Anyway thanks guys/girls for your replies, just a real mind boggler Melanie xx

OK. I'm just working out my problems on your forum. The biggest problem for me is giving up my male identity. He's there, he won't go away. I love him to bits cos he provides the butter on my bread. I don't know. How did you girls sort this out. Another thing, I have a significant other, She's a bit of a Tom I must admit. But if I come out it's going to totally change the the power relstionship. At the moment I'm in charge, but if I accept a female role she'll be in charge. It's not that I mind her being in charge, in fact I find that rather comforting. I'm just afraid she'll make bad decisons. I suppose I'll have to use my feminine wiles on her/him. Take care, HL.

Ok I have been setting here pondering again , ( yickes not again HeeHee ) Yes , I have often wondered , why it is that so many of us are so eager to leave the past behind and forget all about it , and while we are in transition why we have those moments that we feel ok with the past and others would like to have it burn up in a fire set by our own hands , and I also think that when transition or simply being post op how will this change , will we still feel remorce for the past , the life up until surgery , and will life be any less of a bad memory maker after . Well first off , I am and have struggled with the past , it has haunted my every waking moment why because a…

Hello Everyone my name is Karla and I am originally from the north of England.I am 36. Ever since a young age I have wanted to be female. This at the moment though is not an option, but I am now getting closer to what I want. Society and familial constraints dictate my life in a direction that is not truly me. This is something I hope to rectify in the future, but until then I aim to live my life to the best of my ability's. So a little about my home life. I live with my fiancée, my son who is nearly five months old, also my two step children aged 10 and 11. I have a 14 year old daughter from a previous relationship who I aim to see fortnightly. I also have a blog i…

This is a very dead forum don't you think. I'm just bursting to talk. But there's absolutely nothing here. How many posts in one day? Come on now, we're all girls together. Let's talk. OK, we can talk about shoes or men, or whatever. I promise, I won't try to steal your man (fat chance anyway). HL

It’s been a while since I’ve been on here, life’s been very busy. I’m just about two months post-op and feeling great. The post-op treatment schedule is a demanding one and only just now slowing down giving me more personal time. It’s incredible to think back of all I’ve been through in the last year to more recently the past few months. I’m finally me! I feel comfortable in my own skin … I have arrived, lol. Sincerely though, surgery may not be for everyone, it certainly was for me. As I said recovery has been hectic but got progressively easier and less pain and swelling as time has passed. I still have some swelling and a lil’ discomfort when sitting up for any lengthy…

Okay so I often regret in my life not coming out sooner as I began to bald at the end of my college years and continued on till about a 1 1/2 ago. I took measures just before going on HRT and started to take a three part hair treatment that I bought over the counter. In a year of taking it while it did slow the hair loss and some hair grew it didn't do much. Taking the advice of my doctor I switched to a Generic version of Rogaine and instantly in a month I have a much fuller amount covering my bald area, while still there are patches its much more covered now. I have read studies in the past where a M2F transsexual on Hormones with treatment along with Rogaine experi…

My wife finally admitted to lying about me committing sexual abuse to her, I feel so relieved, god I just want to cry. She confessed to my father and to her solicitor after he said to her, if this is a lie then you will get found out eventually, so it looks like her nerve went, I mean a person who lies about stuff like that to me should carry the same sentence for committal of the act, but anyway. Just glad that the truth has come out. I have an appointment with my Solicitor on Monday so we see where we go from there. Hugs Melanie x

Hello, My name is Steve and I am posting here under the name I used years ago, in the MtF discussion because that has been my experience. I would like to share a little about what I have learned and battled through for over a decade. I am a man. What a simple truth that has been so unclear at times. My manhood has been under assault by lies about there being more fulfillment as a female. I have in the past joined forces with these lies in pursuit of feminization. My post here is targeted at those who feel compelled to embrace the good feelings of the fantasy we have had for years, but deep down do not want to go down that road. If you are a man and feel like you ar…
