So, during the past 4 years have been active in the community and completing my transition, I've met plenty of different types of people, different genders, different sexualities, different races, etc. The one thing I noticed alot of was the lament of trans women who cannot forsee SRS in their future be it due to financial strains or physical issues that will bar them from surgery or at least create a situation where the risk outweighs the gain. However, I have also met a large group of self identified females who have the meansfor surgery, but rather, choose NOT to have it. I have always been curious as to the reasons, but, understanding its a hot button issue, I…

I am curious as to after how many years taking estrogen and possibly progesterone, did other transsexual women's breasts no longer became bigger. Secondly, I wonder if transsexual women's breasts, particularly without breast augmentation, are erotically sensitive, less so or nearly as much as those for genetic females. This is an area where I have been disappointed so far and wonder if I will ever experience noticeable erotic sensations.

Hello people, I'm Danielle or Miss D, whichever people prefer. I'm 7-8 months into my transition and things are going rather well although I've had quite a difficult time acquiring anti androgens in injection form. I'm curious of anyone here is privy to safe methods of which to acquire them as I was on them for the first 3 months but haven't been able to continue on them due to continually having to switch GPs as a result of changing areas and addresses. Any advice would be wonderful and most appreciated x

edit: I've been browsing This forum for a short period of time. I don't think the effect of words on a screen could affect a person so much. Guess thats a real fact of life these days. Either way My answer was made clear by reading a few things on this forum. Its funny how one can make obtain a clear answer for them selfs with out a direct interaction of another person. Up and down the net researching and all it too was a simple post phrased just right. I thank you all for your time. I am sorry about the post I did not think I would have had the clearness I needed In the way I received it. If mods could delete this post I would be happy. Sorry mods of this forum. …

Dear loving family of my new brothers and sisters, I was so depressed two weeks ago I thought I wouldn't see through to the next hour. My depression was not caused by hormones but by the severe blow to my entire being because I was finally beginning to see the people who really hate me. Despite all of the terrible words from my wife's family she is still living with me. We are now going to counselling both individually and together once a week. The most encouraging thing my wife has said to me is that she is motivated to work through this with me and that she does want to stay married to me. However, as the therapist told me she is going through a grieving pro…

I am looking for longer vaginal dilators and am having lots of difficulty with it. I need at least 9 inches if not more as I want to continue the depth increase I have noticed and the 7 1/2 inch dilators I have are very diiffciult to even keep inside due to the inadequate length. ANy resources? all that I have looked at are shorter than the ones I have.

This last week has been rough on me physically. My body has made some incredible progress in the last couple of days. It hasn't been easy. I'm really happy but it I never expected to feel so wiped out. I am achy and very fatigued. Becoming a woman is not easy. I love my widening hips, rounded but and blooming breasts. I just didn't expect it to hurt this much and be so exhausting.

Relative writes " I should stay out of your personal life, but I'm concerned with what you are doing to my family.. Look, I really dont care what you do in your free time but when you have 5 young children and a wonderful wife at home, this is the kind of stuff that should be done BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. I have honestly never heard or scene anyone that I know personally do something so selfish before. You have single handedly pushed my beautiful aunt into alcoholism and it wouldnt surprise me tha…

If gays and lesbians can claim there sexual preference as who they are shouldn't transsexuals be afforded the same? I can not have sex with women,I'm not gay or a male lesbian. I desire men as a woman. I am a hetero girl. Isn't that enough to say I am a woman?

On two occasions, I have had what I refer to as 'transsexual feelings'. My journey toward the transsexual conundrum has begun. Last year in June I declared myself as a transgenderist. I felt equality comfortable as masculine and feminine. A few days after that declaration I had the transsexual feelings. Fast forward to June of this year and those feelings came again only stronger this time. The feelings happened again a week or so ago. When I came out as a cross dresser over five years ago, I felt a kinship with transsexuals. I had two incidents which may explain what I'm feeling. I was ma'amed by a man while coming out of a store. I was dressed in male clothi…

a sad but enlightening event happened to me. my wife and i had sex a few days ago and all was going well until i felt her body and watched her in the throws of her pleasure. i just didn't want to continue. i had no connection to her or my penis. although i love her very much the idea of me inside her just didn't excite me. i lost what erection i had and couldn't continue. she was sad for me but i was sort of relieved. many of you have said that you are not as horny as before. i think i have developed a woman's libido. although i have not had sex with men yet i fantasize and dream of it. this always gets me horny and erect. i am not hot and slutty for men but if i was r…

Hello Family, My name is Rhonda and I live in Portland,OR. I am a fifty plus year old Male to Female Transgener. I have been "battling" this condition most of my life. Either by ignoring the urges as I could or by keeping in the closet I could no longer fight the urges. I came to PDX. With the specific goal to "start" a real life test. Since arriving here in the first of the year. 2010 I have so far managed to find a ND to over see my HRT, I'm on Spirolactone and Estrodial. I have secured living "quarters" in a relatively safe building. I'm seeing a Gender Therapist at the behest of my Naturalist Doctor. This is a brief history of where I'm at now. I have…

Good news, everyone! I'm in the last stages of foreclosure and my abscess is finally getting unmanageable! Okay, that's not really good news... but it's at least development. I was in such an awful stasis and it's nice to see things changing, even if it's for the worse. I have a job that didn't support my family, but now that we moved into a tiny apartment in the city, it does. I still don't have health insurance, but because my condition's gotten so bad, I'm going to spend the hours and hours at a free clinic that I should have done earlier. I feel like I'm in my early 20's again, failing all over the place, but feeling free somehow. Of course, freedom com…

Hi Everyone This is just a post to introduce myself, My name is Mercedes, I am 34 years old and living in the U.K. I have started my real life experience on the 30th April this year. My doctor has already referred me to a psychologist (mainly for depression and anxiety) after a few sessions (about 6) I got discharged from her, and referred for cognitive behaviour therapy, my doctor has also started me on hormone treatment, first she started me on an Estraderm TTX patch (They didn't agree with me a brought me out in rashes) she then changed the patches to Estraderm MX patch (these didn't stick well, and now she has put me on Estradot (these are so much smaller and stick …

So, as many probably know, dilation is the major post operative pain that coms with SRS. My current surgeon started me off with 5 different dilators, varying in size, and had me on a schedule of 5 times a day at 20 minutes each session, for the first three weeks, with that schedule sliding down to 4 times a day the following three weeks, then 3 times the following three weeks, etc, etc. My question, for any of you post operative women, is that it has been about 3 weeks as of this monday since I have been first dilating. However, there has been about 4-5 days in which I only dilated 4 times a day instead of 5, due to my schedule. I guess this is kind of a two part …

I am currently in Disney World living completely as a woman full time in every situation for almost two weeks. My license is updated with and F for gender and I am finally being called by the feminine name that means so much to me. So much is coming clear just in this past week that would not have made sense without the actual experience. Thank you so much to those of you on Tgguide who helped to prepare me for this event. This is a general schedule that I followed to reach this point in my life I thought I would share to help those who need help. 1. I have been struggling with myself for some months now, part of me wants to "come out" and become known, while another part feels my life will be over if i do!! I am trying so hard to find a balance, one where I can acknowledge what I really am "A femanine man" and on the other hand, I want to throw it all away and "Get a grip", before it destroys me !! I want to be free !! though I know the only way is to open up, let some of my defences down and Love life I think I need to relax and stop being afraid of what the world, probably already knows.. Keep up the great work people. you are all so cool. Rachel xxx

There has been much talk about homone testing and the importance of a medical doctor in prescribing hormones. I agree with the seriousness of this topic and rather than talk about doctors that don't know anything, I am offering an alternative explanation for the different types of testing that may be done and the reasoning why. I would like to share some insight on what is happening to me. I am going to one of the best facilities in the state of wisconsin for medical care in madison and they have a special team of doctors who handle transgender care. I have had my blood levels taken and will be having them checked about every three months or so. This testing …

It has been 5 weeks now and the euphoria has worn off and it is just life now. I have been very fortunate in that I have not met with any bad reactions as of yet , I have been treated well by all and have even been hit on a few times ! I am just enjoying my life now and to my surprise I have found a confidence I never knew I had . My wife is still having a hard time with this at times but she is happy for me and remains supportive , I dare say we have even grown closer and I did not think that was possible as close as we are . It is wonderful to finally be living the life I was always meant to live .
