Finally, a woman: A transgender's story Inquirer.net (blog) An interesting interview with post-op transsexual Ramona from the Phillipines. There are no laws that exist in the Philippines that protect transsexuals or transgenders. That is how backwards our country is on many issues. Science moves at such a rapid pace that new laws have to...

I haven’t been on for quite a while ... after a death in my family and a difficult trip to my hometown and a reunion with my Dad and brother to return and face problems at home, issues with my partner that we’ve yet to overcome. I just wanna be done with all the crap that transitioning has attached with it. I feel good in my body, my role ... my gender, finally. I’ve contributed here from almost the beginning of my journey, as I felt better I’ve always tried to be upbeat and supportive and encouraging to those at the beginning of their personal journey, facing who they really are, coming out and starting transition. It is wonderful to finally be ourselves and live in the…

People , I really don't know exactly where to place this , but it really affects us as a nation ! The state of tennessee , once known as the "Volunteer State has somehow allowed the area to be taken hostage by some very mis - guided individuals , mabye Talaban spies . You may ask, uh what is going on here . Simple folks , we have allowed some religious fanatic to be running loose telling the world how he would , "STOMP A MUDHOLE IN THE CHEST of a TRANSGENERED Individual ". The same group of so called leaders has some Demorat operative , YES A "D" wanting to have Sports bras declared Ilegeal in public on women wearing them outside while excercising . he says the bras have…

I didn't know if this would fit here or not, but I have a serious question to ask everyone. Recently as everyone is aware in my recent blog, I got rid of a room mate who was like me, transgirl. Well they more in less not only disrespected my dad, but disrespected me. My feelings is and I am not sure if anyone feels the way I do, but refuse to call this former room mate by their chosen female pronoun because of the disrespect they shown to me and my dad. Do you think I am wrong for doing this or do any of you think that it is my choice, given the factor that I got disrespected the way I did. Also to add to this. My friends are this person's friend, therefore one of t…

I hear a lot of stuff on this forum about people who felt they were female from their earliest years, But we're ignoring a big section of the transgender community. The truth is that this can hit you at any age. You drink too much, maybe you'll go female. It's not so much about mental attitude (well it is) but more about physical changes to your body, and consequent changes in your mental attitude. You notice how men get softer and more compliant after they hit 50, hormonal changes. Young men are risk takers, we love them and admire them for that, but when you're older it's not quite so attractive, We need to dump this whole idea of male/ female identity, and adopt a more…

Ok , here is My Quandry .... I want to Create A list of Providers that is Up To Date and Vetted , I over the years have used A great number of various Providers as Referance for Others , What I am pondering is that I should compile a list of ALL , Providers That Serve LBGT patients . What I was wondering Should I cold call Providers ( which I have done in the past , You'll be amazed at how odd this is from the Providers aspect ) , or Use Various Forums to aquire Vetted Providers that Provide Services for the Trans Community . I know We have A Provider list here , the problem is that some are in areas that None of a number of Members live near , or some of them ar…

I don't really have the chest for the dress ideas, but I'm going to start working on repurposing some of my button-downs as skirts. I've already got some in mind that have perfect patterns for Spring attire and maybe one I can use this Fall if it's not too chilly and if the cut isn't too weird.

Hi to all, I am new on this forum. One of the reasons that I have joined is that I am hoping that I could hear from any members with any experiences with facial feminisation surgery. I have been searching the internet however I seem to be having trouble in finding too much in the way of genuine independent reviews etc. I will kick off by asking if anyone might of heard or have had any personal dealings with a company in Lima in Peru called Femilife. I have contacted them and they have provided prices and procedural information that seem to be really quite reasonable. I have tried asking them if I could communicate with any of their ex clients and they have not …

My Partner recently made a trip home to see family (we’re from the same home town), I chose (sadly) not to go as my relationship with some of my family (especially my Dad) is strained at best ... less then a week after my partner returned, I spoke to Dad ... it’s been over 10 months since we last spoke (almost 2yrs since I came out). I cried ... after all the things I thought I’d say or wanted to say none of it came to mind at the time. I called to speak with Mom but for some reason he decided to answer it, they have caller I.D. and he’d stopped answering when I call and just hand the phone to Mom. Yesterday, I heard the gruff “Hello”. 1st I froze ... I have to stop to t…
