My Endocrinologist put me on Prometrium (Progesterone) as a supplement to the reduced Estradiol dosage that I currently take. As a result, I have been having the strangest, most far-out wacky dreams of my life. Usually, I do not remember my dreams, but those I have had recently are so clear and vivid to me. My question to you, Dear Readers: Do you have or have you had similar experiences? If so, do you feel as though the dreams you experienced had always been there, except that the Prometrium brings them more "out front", memorable? Thanks!

Yesterday started off terribly. I cut the back of my hair to keep it looking like a bob and my wife got furious. She said all the same hurtful things she normally does and we fought about getting divorced. Then, the conversation actually got beneficial. She told me how she was actually feeling. She told me about how scared she is of losing me. She told me that she hates me as a woman because she sees me as killing her husband whom she loves so dearly. Finally, we came to a compromise. As long as I hold off on hormones and GRS (so that she can still have sex with her husband), she's going to respect who I am. We've planned a date for shopping and dinner this…

Hi Everyone, I am a MtF currently living on the east coast. My lease is up here in 6 months, so late September of this year. I'm early in my transition but expect HRT progress will make this area unsupportive on many fronts soon thereafter. For that reason, I'm considering relocating to PDX. I lived in Eugene for several years so I spent some time in Portland. It seems like a very Trans-friendly city relatively from what I've read. I'd really, really appreciate anyone's advice or opinions on this plan including: - How trans-friendly is Portland? - What neighborhoods in the city or in the outskirts are most accepting and safe? - Therapist recommendations? - …

Hey everyone its your main girl tiff, sorry i haven't been on for a while but i've been going through a lot with family and friends and well you know how everything goes. But thats not the point for me posting this. So I've been on hormones for about 6 weeks and I have never felt better. Im much more calm now and I feel very much at ease with myself. My skin is softer and I've noticed that I've started to grow breasts. Slowly i've noticed that the fat around my midsection has gone down a little and has redistributed to my hips and booty. The real reason for me posting though is because lately I've been gettiing headaches much more than usual, they aren't bad just li…

ok, I don't know what is going on, but I'm still not on HRT yet as I've been waiting for three weeks now to receive my letter, but that's a different subject. 1. Why am I trying my best not to use foul language, when I used to swear like a trooper? 2. Why is it that all I want to do is talk to my friends about my feelings, their feelings, how their kids are doing, how my kids are doing and just being REALLY in to feelings and emotions, how my friends are feeling etc etc when before I wasn't too concerned. 3. Why is it that when I put on a boys shirt ( I still have two or three lying around ) I feel repulsed ? 4. Why am I getting upset about my hair all of the time? …

This is a list of questions I ask myself everyday. The answer to them all is yes but does that make me a girl? Do I like womens' clothes? Do I like make up? Do I want breasts? Do I hate my penis? Do I want men to find me attractive as a woman? I know I am not gay. Homosexual sex is not appealing to me. I know if I was a real woman I would want vaginal intercourse. I am not a transvestite. I don't get a sexual charge form womens' clothes. It is more of a choice and how I want to be presented to the world. I don't have a woman's or a man's brain. It is kinder and more thoughtful. The way it should be for everyone. Does all this add up to wanting to be a…

I should be working but can’t seem to focus, my mind is elsewhere. There’s some 70 + sleeps left till’ my GRS. I can think of nothing else this morning. I wonder to myself; Will my new vagina look nice?(lil' vain I know), I’ve seen many turn out very natural looking n’ pretty while others not so much … will mine work properly n’ orgasms be achievable?, I’ve read several accounts were much of the sensation was lost by 6months post-op (that’s a bit scary) … I am happily married to a woman so is depth even important to me?, I think I’d at least like to be average compared to other transwomen. I hope surgery goes well, as with any surgery there’s always a possibility of c…

Hi all, I've been searching around to see if I can find anyone that does laser hair removal as the woman see at the salon I go to for waxing said that laser would be better for me than any other means of removing hair from the beard area. I've not been able to find anyone in theSouth West UK Somerset area (I'm based in Yeovil) by searching online. Does anyone have any recommendations for anyone? I'm happy to travel a reasonable distance, say up to and hour and half or 40 to 50 miles. Thanks Jenny

I just needed some advice. I have a friend ( male ) I've known him for about 13 years. He's with a girl at the moment, he confessed to me he was bisexual, but he isn't out. We got talking the other night when he was over at my house and confessed to me he dreamed about me the other night in which he was having sex with his girlfriend, he then looked away and turned back and he was having sex with me, he said I was hot and that I had huge breasts and a huge penis and this got him extremely turned on. He then went on to ask if I dreamed about him. I replied no. Over the last few days our conversations have turned sexual in nature and I said I did think he was nice looki…

So Girls/Guys, What is your strategy for when people laugh at you in the street, how do you cope; what do you do to not let comments or laughter get to you on an emotional level? I don't have THAT much trouble, but now and again the pointing or the laughter or sly giggle gets to me, I know it shouldn't, I just wondered how everyone else copes with this situation? Melanie xx

Hi Guys, Well, I'm really depressed at the moment. I was in family court today, what a disaster. My wife is moving to Cardiff ( 360 miles away ) I'm only allowed to see my children once a month ( for two days )when she moves down there, It's going to be almost impossible for me to travel down once a month as the fuel costs will be outrageous. It's a six hour drive a 12 hour round trip,I've been handed to the lions basically. She stated in a report which we both had to make that I sexually abused her, physically hit her when she was pregnant with my son, held a knife to her throat and tried to strangle her when she was pregnant, these of course are all lies. How can …

Hello all, I disappeared for a while; some of you missed me (I know) so it’s worth a little explanation. I’m over a very busy month. The events followed each other so quickly that I simply could not react all of them in time, I could not spare time for every activity I practiced before. First of all, I found the Hungarian TS community at last. This was the end of my long search. I was surprised totally when I gathered that there were more TS people in my country than I ever imagined. I jumped into the centre of the social life of this community. This event caused that I quickly became aware of the official regulation of gender change of my country. This knowledge boo…

So, it seems like things are going a little better with money lately and I was thinking of trying to open a discussion with my wife again and bring up the possibility of my starting hormones. We don't have any insurance whatsoever. Does anyone know how much I should expect to pay or if there are any online companies (legitimate) that would be cheaper than the local pharmacy?

Hello all, My name is Kya I am new to the forums and enjoy reading the various topics discussed. I can relate to much of it. I am a MtF, I have been on hormones and anti-androgens for about two months now and am already noticing A LOT of changes, all of which are exciting and anticipated. I am under the care of a physician as well as a therapist for the past year. Basically just maybe looking for a few other girls to befriend and maybe have contact so I don't feel so alone. I have a wonderful network of friends, I wish my family were more understanding they have disowned me for religious reasons. All the best Kya

I had such a roller-coaster ride of a day yesterday. Prior to last month I was in the mind that I’d be waiting a minimum of two years to have government funding for my SRS. In Canada it is covered by healthcare however there are many “hoops” one must jump through before being approved and actually having surgery. They send you to the surgeon closest to your region (luck for me it’s Brassard). As with the rest of my transition I’ve been extremely patient and with my loving wife supporting me(she’s known about me all along), I’ve done everything with medical advice and guidance. I went through a long psychological evaluation and therapy before even starting Spiro. I came …

Well, well, how things have changed for me. Where do I start ? As you know a few weeks ago I was extremely depressed and had thoughts of suicide, due to the fact that my wife was thinking of divorcing me and threatening to take my children away from me. I have now decided to divorce her and will be serving papers on ASAP. I will looking at a new house about 30 miles away from my current location to start my new life there. I've also been informed by a friend who is a Solicitor, that when she divorces me, it's not going to go to well for her as she is an extreme right wing Christian and that it is discrimination on medical grounds against me because I have been diagnose…

Hello, everyone! My name is Jocelyn, but you can call me Joss, Lynn, or whatever else strikes your fancy (I've heard them all). Much to my shame, I haven't really even begun to transition because there are simply no resources in my hometown. I AM trying to save money though, more to get out of this town to someplace where I CAN transition. It's a nuisance but kind of a necessary first step, I think. Despite this though, I actually practically live fulltime as a woman (excluding at my job). I have a loving wife who knew everything about me going into our relationship, and my friends are also perfectly accepting, so really, I guess things could be a lot worse, all t…

Out of curiosity has anyone had the following happend with hormone treatments? Teenage like acne breakouts in a person who is middle aged? I hear your supposed to develop b cup breasts if your lucky after years. I'm getting huge fast. I'm between b and c cup after 3 weeks. Anyone have similar development? How about nausea? Anyone have bouts of nausea? My doctor doesn't seem alarmed but seems suprised at the pace of development of many of the changes. He also seemed suprised my genitals have shrunk and my testicles are ascending at a couple of weeks. Should I be alarmed at the rapidity of change? My small town doc admits he's not very experienced regarding these…
