I wonder if this has happened to any of you . I have had a 15 year plan of transition and as I have always taught my students "plan your dives and dive your plan , no variation " I have always applied that philosophy to my life and now I am the one wanting to violate the rule.I have moved slowly since accepting who I am and now that I have taken that step of changing my name I find I am wanting to go all in and get done . There are so many risks , I regret not changing my first name but were I to do so I would lose my job ( Missouri has no gender protection laws ). My wife is disabled and requires a great deal in medical and prescription cost as do I for that matter and …

Dear All, My partner girlfriend a love still so deeply has a new love. I have spoken with her about this new love and I see she needs it but it hurt me so much, I cry the hole day. For her it is the best and I know for me to, but it hurt and breaks my hard. I wrote her the following message with tears all over my face. “From the bottom of my hart you best girlfriend Antoinette, I have asked GOD to assist you with help, warmth, strength and wisdom. Remember the days we have been permitted to do so spiritual, I hope we can always continue until the end of time. I also hope you can forgive me that I hurt you so much, I hope you will accept me as your new girlfriend…

I have an appointment to see my gender therapist on the 2o=0th July. That's cool and everything but my wife wants to come along to the sessions, to hear what the therapist has to say and to hear what I say to the therapist. She said she still doesn't believe I'm transgendered and that we haven't explored all avenues and she won't quit on me until we've explored every avenue. I was like WTF, it seems as if I'm a kid and she is my mom taking me to see a docotor to find out what is wrong with me. How do I talk her out of this or what do I say to her. I have no idea what to do ?

So I was thinking today (and this is probably the wrong area to post this question to everyone but whatever) and I was thinking back on my life and I thought to myself: Who was the first person I saw that I found out was trans or a crossdresser that kinda changed my life or made me realize that I could transition? Maybe its kinda an odd question but it really got me thinking. The answer I came up with (and im sure no one will remember the reference im about to make) but I remember when I was just starting in college and a show on MTV came on called "I want a famous face" and it was all about younger adults who wrote into the show saying why they deserve cosmetic su…

Life has taken a big turn for me as of late. Everything that I thought would be concrete and last forever is coming down all around me. I should have known that this would happen. I guess I took too many things for granted and just expected that things would just go on as normal. I have deeply hurt the one I love and have now lost her, there is no going back. I cannot undo the truths that have been spoken. The truth is that since my accident in November of last year that so nearly cost me my life I have spent time taking a real good hard look at myself and something that has been with me all of my life that I have struggled so hard to keep under control has finally broken…

I've noticed a lot of talk here about sex, especially people who self identify as mtf transsexual talking about continuing sexual relations with their wives or girlfriends in more or less traditional (ie boy-girl) ways. While I certainly don't pretend to know all the answers, I do know this - that being a mtf transsexual means that you want to physically be a girl to match your emotional and intellectual identity. And, if you're serious, that will include hrt, which after a relatively short time (for me about 3 months) makes continuing in that way (boy-girl) not physically possible, nor in my case, desirable. The desired outcome of hrt is the eradication of male chara…

This is also for FtM's too, Sorry, I should have put that in the title, my apologies. You are in a place ( heaven, a different universe, where ever we begin ) and you have no form but are completely coherent and are intelligent. Standing before you are two children's bodies. One is a boy and one is a girl. You have to decide which one to be born in to. But there is a catch. If you choose the boys body you will live until a hundred years have passed, with a life free from illness, making many friends and have a family that loves you, you will be wealthy and not want for anything but there is no such thing as SRS/hormone therapy and GID has not been or ever will be …

I'm obviously a girl, I know this. I also know that I want to have the body of a girl, I'm also willing to have my testicles removed. But, when it comes to full SRS I'm like hmmm don't know if I want. Then I start to question myself if I'm really a girl. Surely a true transsexual want's the whole package ( excuse the pun ). Are there other transsexuals here who feel the same,is it normal to feel this way about your penis and wanting to keep it. btw, I was diagnosed with GID last year, just for information's sake.

I finally sat down with my wife today and talked about the whole transexual thing and we've decided to divorce. We've both agreed on joint custody and to file for divorce. I'm very sad, but I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I think I had fallen out of love with her a long time ago, but I still love her, if that makes any sense. She just couldn't accept me taking hormones and becoming a female as she put it. I think she sees this as making her a lesbian, and with her extreme Christian background I can understand this. But I'm still a bit upset at the fact the her love was conditional. I thought the point of marriage was to love each other no …

Dear all, I'm started with Herbals to change my hormonal system. It works but slowly and steady, slower hair grow, breast grow and more feelings towards my changes to Female. Less sex drive. But my body shape is ad this moment not changed. Also my mood and depressions went a way. I'm reading a lot on taking the hormonal treatments. And like to start on it as soon as possible. I like to have some live information from those having had the hormonal treatments. Did it changed the emotions, feelings, mood swings, body and did you like this changes? Love Hanske.

Hey everyone, I've finally taken the plunge and decided to create my own You-Tube channel. Now it and myself may be a little rough around the edges but please give me a chance. My channel can be found at http://www.youtube.com/user/MissEmmaSummers I decided to make it to talk about what my experiences of being Transgendered has been like and also to answer many questions people might have. I also wanted it to be a record of my transition. I love you all loads, Emma xxx

Hi, I'm Tessa and I just found out about these forums through twitter. I'm 23 and I've been transitioning for about 7 months now. It's strange, I heard stories of rejection pretty much everywhere on the Internet, so that's what I was expecting. Instead everyone in my life loves me more now. They say I've come to life and I talk more. I guess didn't hide depression as well as I thought I did. Anyways, I'm a senior in college and I'd like to see japan some day. I'm not really into anime as much as I was when I was 18, but their culture is so different that I'd love to experience that. I've got a friend that's moving over there for a year, so he can tell me all about it.…

I have seen a lot nice and positive stories on the tgguide with getting a real woman. But not a lot of stories from those how have had the SRS transition and there life experience after and how this feels now. For me this is very important to know how many positive or negative real life experience there are from after the SRS transition. Is it what you have expected? Are you really home in your new live? I myself like to go the hole way but have still some questions on how others have experienced it and watt I need to know and expect. I think a lot of us dealing with this issues have this questions. Sorry for all my spellings and grammar mistakes I hope you al…

My wife just made a realization that even though she loves me through all of this, what is society going to label her? She stated that people will assume she is a lesbian just by hanging out with me. I never thought much about that because I have been so focused on letting go of the pain I have held in all of these years. This attitude people have to make such assumptions is simply wrong. I know in my heart the real answer but what can I say to my wife to help her understand. She thinks I am self-centered and foolish for giving into feelings that in her opinion are going to destroy us. I know my wife is not a lesbian but her fear of being considered one tells…

I was reading an article online and it was basically saying that. Men who have GID and suppress it, are often violent, take extreme risks with their lives, and may even have OCD and other controlling behaviours. I will try and find this article, but I found it interesting because I had most if not all of these behaviours listed.

I've just had a, let's call it a quiet argument with my wife. She wants me to move to Cardiff with her and the children and come out as a gay man, instead of living as a woman. She said it will be easier for me, her and the children. as Cardiff is very transphobic, and so is her family. She also said that her family is also very welcoming and warm towards gay men,as her uncle is openly gay,and her family don't have a problem with gay or lesbians but transexuals is a whole different ball game. Later that night, I cried my heart out and I cried until I had no tears left. I then went out in my car at 2am in the morning and drove towards a cliff edge, I live near the co…

Well I have an appointment for laser hair removal on my face on the 15th. Well, it's my consultation. I was priced at about £150-£200 per session, well, that's all of my spare cash gone if I go through with it, which I know I am. But they said it would take about 7-8 sessions on average. The sessions would be like every 8 weeks or so.
