Hi everyone Im rather new to this site, but not to the trans community. I have been struggling with my own GID for a very long time now. I was ready to start councling about 3 years ago but then I ran into financial issues and have had to put it on hold. Now that I have saved up a good amount of money I am ready to start the process again. I am just absolutely amazed at the strength and courage many of you ladies have, especially the ones that have started HRT, and I hope within the next year or two to begin my own. Hello, I been transitioning for almost a year think around 10 months. The thing I have been dealing with everything, lost of job might be related or not. Getting medical treatments, therapy, and prescription; Honestly, it has been difficult, but I am not bothered by it. I deal with more issues from society now then been. Is there any information on how common the various conditions in transgender are in the populaton. I would be most interested in U.S. population and location, I see there is map on this site but I am wondering if there is any recent scientific study with some current data. I would hope that the info would include the homosexual population as well. I am also curious about those who who never come out. Obviously there is some guessing involved but has there been any type of study or survey recently that might be useful.

hey everyone.. ive been on hrt for almost 5 weeks coming up and ive got some changes and im happy about that. but yes im being paranoid cuz really i havent lost much muscle at all almost nothing.. in the next few years i know it will go away but will the hrt actually make the muscle shrink to female proportions.. i know i cant change my bones, but i can change the muscle and fat areas with hormones right? if anyone knows help is welcome jesslyn:)
