Hi !!! It is Virginia I am still learning my way the site. So, if I seem like I don't quite know what I'm doing, it is no surprise. I hope to make some friends. The town I live is so lonely and boring. There is nowhere to go and not much to do. And I am too afraid anyway. I wish to find a place I can feel comfortable to be myself with nice friends. So, talk to me!!! I hope we can all have fun together - Virginia - :)

I am still contemplating issues on feminizing myself. I was wondering if a person oriented there diet to food and herb very high in estrogen could they get female features slowing over time. I am presently vegan and eating high estrogene foods and drinking herbal teas red clover(high in estrogen) and milkthistle(for the liver). I am still in that middle point deciding about being a CD or a TS. Please any advice would be helpful.

There have been so many advancements lately. Transplants, SRS, Cloning Vital Organs, etc. Does anyone know if there have been any attempts to clone/create complete sex organs for SRS? - Virginia -

If a magic fairy came down and said that you could only have one of these choices, at no cost, risk, or pain, which would you choose, if any, keeping in mind that this would be the ONLY thing you could EVER get done. I mean, whichever one you pick, you would never again be able to have either of the other two done, not even at your own cost. sorry, it's an odd fairy. -Facial Feminization -Genital Correction -Voice Correction to any type of voice you want I wonder what this magic fairy looks like -Kim

 Hi, it is Virginia again. I have so many fears and questions regarding my transition. I'm I too old for surgery? (47) How do they create a vagina? Is it convincing? Will I be all scared up? What is the average cost. Are there financing programs? - Virginia -

So situation: You have to go to artificial means to increase passability. Only: No going to doctors. No buying anything from stores in person either. You are an adult, but you do not live alone. Do you anonymously order things over the net then check your real life mail? Is there some safe way to buy anonymous electrosis which is mailed to you then you use it in real life? Also are there SPECIAL hospitals particularly for transpeople with competent doctors who can do various surgeries for a price? It would also have to be in a pretty isolated spot. I wouldn't want to exactly walk into some building in a very busy public spot with "Transgendered people enter here!" righ…

A lot of gays (A LOT) think that we are plain freaks. You just have to enter a gay chat or go to a gay restaurant dressed up and you'll see their reaction. A lot of gays just hate us and it doesn't make any sense to me. In fact, the worst (unwarrented and unrequested) comments about my physical appearence and ability to pass came from gay guys. When asked what they think about men who date post op TS women, gays like to think that these men are closeted gays. It makes me so sick that a lot of hatred and phobia against our community comes from gays.

I'm curious about something that has me thinking after reading the vagina envy thread. I've heard of amputees who say they still feel their limbs after losing them. Does that happen after SRS also? I would imagine that certain nerve pathways are still functional and active after SRS, they are physically in different locations but the mind might not sense this immediately. Does it take time for everything to start feeling where it is versus where it was? Hope this makes sense. MIWBJ

Hi all, I just wanted to say hello. Ive been transisioning for over a year and am still looking for resources and people to talk to about all this stuff. It's been a hell of a ride so far but also worth it. For me this whole situation actually gets easier and easier as the effects of HRT continue to evolve... Anyway, drop a line sometime and I will try to be as supportive as I can for everyone else here. xoxo Christine

I am a crossdresser but lately I have had fleeting thoughts that maybe I am a transsexual. I still have no desire for surgery but I would rather wear feminine clothing all the time. I feel very comfortable being looked upon as a woman. I haven't made any decisions yet but I wanted to bounce these thoughts off to you ladies. What do you make of it? Gennee

I have compiled a lists of things people have said and asked me during my transition. Its funny lot of these things have come from My sisters, girlfriends, guy friends, guys I have dated, exwife! Most have come from women though, makes me wonder if its not good to be a girl then why aren't they men? Here they are: Why do you want to be a girl??? Why do you want to cut off your penis? Why do you want breasts? Why do you want a vagina? Vaginas are too much maintenance! Gynecologist visits are not fun at all! You know having a period isn't fun! Hey can you just keep the breasts and not get rid of your penis, I would enjoy you better! Can you have…

As a Pre-op female, I was just wondering if being a female is more disired by more people. I know we are all female in early stages of life. Could this be the reason that their are more Mtf then Ftm (With apoligize to ftm). The percentage of mtf is much higher. Also males tend to crossdress and women crossdressers are much lower. Just intrested in hearing opinions? Where the majority of people born, meant to be female?

anyone here that can offer help from a personal perspective. My husband has always hid his real identity behind a real macho, egotistical, argumentitive personality. We have been together for 18 years and have 2 very young children. Over the past 12 he has slowly started to integrate the feminine side of who he realy is into our relationship. His anger has been his most dominate personality trate, it has caused so much heartache with us, but we always work things through. Just recently he confessed who is inside his head and the turmoil he has endured trying to keep his head in reality, knowing his sex is male but his head says he is female. He is scared I will leave, …

I'm leaving to have surgery in Montreal tomorrow. I'll be having a vaginoplasty and a tracheal shave. I'm really excited for the results, I am also a bit frightened of the procedures. I have an existential fear of local anesthesia, and surgery in general is just a scary prospect. I'm also not looking forward to the recovery process. If I could just fast forward I would, but I suppose that all good things require some sacrifice. I'm just hoping it all goes without a hitch and that I have a relatively painless recovery. I also had a great party tonight. Not everyone came that I would have wanted, but many of them were out of town on vacation, or working night shifts, so…

Hi everybody, This is the first time I've ever posted to this forum, although I've spend many hours reading posts here and other places. I am a 57 year old MtF transsexual who came out to the world four months ago. I knew since I was 9 or 10 that I felt different about myself. I wanted to do what girls did and wear what girls wore. I wasn't clear about why, but I knew it was true. I never was able to fit into any group of guys. They made uncomfortable and were generally coarse and gross. I began to cross-dress around 12 years old and did that whenever I could. When I was caught, my parents said it was just a phase. (Yeah, right.) I eventually read about tran…

But anyways, I was wondering if any of you could answer two questions. One, do you know any tgirls in transistion or that have transistioned that are close to or around my height of 6'4? Also, does anyone know if their are many transsexual models out there? Since I'm 18 and now beginning hormones, I feel like I can transistion into a very passable girl, except for my size, and since models are so tall, I think that I could go into modeling sometime soon and it's something that I have wanted to eversince I can remember. Im 17 years old. Im going into my Senior Year of High School. I have been small all my life. I often felt inferior to my fellow Students. i attend a private high school just for males. I was a late bloomer and still to this day people think i am in grammer school. I can relate to females more then my fellow man. Sometimes i think to my self why i am not a female. i often find my self fantasizing on the possibility of being a women. I also find my self very sloppily applying make up and i sometimes cross dress. I Really like female clothing and i have a sense of color then most men do not have. Unless my parents did not tell me something im fully a male. Sear…

I just stopped by to say hi. I have been continuing my electrolysis and was pleased to reach an important milestone the other day -- there are no more dense dark hair patches left on my face. I can now shave and there's no real noticable shadow. We are continuing to work on removing lighter and lighter hairs, but I have been able to cut back to 1 hour a week and retain my sanity; the electrologist has been amazed at how little regrowth I've been getting, but that could end up being the true gift of the laser treatment, I suppose. I finally broke down and bought a tube of lidocaine from her. I was amused to note that it says "anorectal cream". I told her that was ap…

I'm having kind of a tough time right now. I have to go off of my hormones in preparation for surgery. I've been off of them for about four days now and I'm really starting to feel tense. It's like I have all of this pent up destructive energy that's tearing me apart from the inside. I'm just plain angry for no reason and it's driving me nuts! Does anybody have any advice on how to get through this? I can't relax, I certainly can't sleep, and I'm having violent fantasies about beating up local gangsters (who I ironically despise because they are violent). This is just not good. I don't know how long I can put up with this.
