Has anyone tried waxing their beard area, or is this as stupid an idea as I think it might be? Or both? It sounds painful at any rate... although its still oddly tempting...

It was emotional. I didn't break down and cry uncontrollably, but I went through a few tissues. My fellow patients did as well. They like to call it a "Graduation" when someone leaves after completing the program. I got to wear a tiara. I also got to hear from everyone about what they thought of me, and respond in kind. Hi everyone, I'm a 24 yr old gender questioning young adult from Michigan. Is 24 to late to start hrt for decent results like breast development. I consider myself a late boomer in development because my male characteristics are just kicking in. I just ordered a pair of cheap breastforms. I was wondering if anyone knew anything reliable about adhesives and breast forms. Anny recommendations? Will it damage them? How easy is it to remove or am I screwed as soon as I try? I was thinking spirit gum might work, but that might be overkill. Theres some stuff called for stockings, I dont know if that would work or how well. Theres a bunch of different tape type adhesives for wigs and such. Can anyone here tell me how to stick it?

For those of you not familiar, that's a "Partial Hospitalisation Program". In practical terms, it's a 7 hour per day, five day per week, program of intensive therapy. This should last for 2 weeks. There might be an additional 2 weeks of half days also - "Intensive Outpatient" in the hospital's terminology. I have used Retin-A off and on for the past two years to treat acne and to help keep my skin youthful...It is an amazing product and does wonders for your skin but it can be harsh at times...I have been "off" for 6 months now and wanting to begin back. Does anyone have much experience or advice on how to help older children of those who proceed with transition, in terms of providing them with a positive role model of the gender no longer "represented" in the family? Some of us might see the parents' genders are irrelevant; and yes, I do think a best outcome is two parents who love and can show love effectively to their children, regardless of gender. I have been so very interested in reading posts by some of you who have made the shift years in the past, to see how you deal with passing or not passing. Although I have begun HRT and I am also using T-blockers it seems that my facial hair is still growing faster than I want it to. I plan on getting a laser removal later on but in the mean time do any of you know of a good way to retard or slowdown the growth of facial hair? I was under the assumption that the hormones and T- blockers would slow my facial hair growth by themselves. As far as laser treatments are concerned are they expensive and do they work well?

I'm 20 and i've been on hrt for 10 months (going on 11), and I've noticed that my hips are widening. The reason I raise the issue is that i'm thin enough that I can see the edge of my hip bone, so it's not fat. And all the HRT faqs i ever read said that hrt wouldn't effect bone structure. But after talking to some other transsexuals my age that doesn't seem to be the case at all.
