Twins can be identical, fraternal and apparently semi-identical, scientists now report. Read more... This story provides an intriging clue to the nature of genetic mosaicism. In genetic mosaicism, a single organism is thought to grow out of two or more fertilized eggs. The process by which they would combine into one embrio has never been satisfactorily explained. I think it is possible that the theory is upside down. I find it more likely that people who are a genetic mosaic result when a multiply-fertilized egg does not divide into semi-identical twins. This would imply that genetic mosaicism is far more common than previously thought.

I ran across this site today. The revised Harry Benjamin Standards are saying that one is not transsexual but rather intersexed. I was wondering what others thought of this. To me, it makes perfect sense Billie Jo http://www.harrybenjaminsyndrome-info.org/soc.html

Transgender support groups in the United States have been updated. These are listed at http://www.tgguide.com/information.htm Please help us keep this list as current as possible by letting us know if you're aware of others that are not listed or group listings that need to be corrected. Additions or corrections can be submitted by e-mail to webmaster@tgguide.com You may feel free to post support groups outside the United States on this message board. We will most likely use that information to add support groups from other countries when we reach that stage of site development. INTERSEX SUPPORT GROUPS ARE ESPECIALLY WELCOME!

  7. Kalidasa, considered the greatest poet and playwright in Indian history, describes shiva and shakti (male and female entities) as inseparable as a word and its meaning or a letter and its pronunciation. This is often depicted through the androgynous/hermaphroditic form of shiva, ardhanarishvara, literally meaning the god that is half (or part) female.

For those of you who can get the Canadian Broadcast Corporation (CBC) channel. CBC Newsworld will be reporting on "The Third Sex". http://www.cbc.ca/documentaries/thelens/2009/thethirdsex/ "Someone around you has a secret, a family secret. He or she was born with both male and female genitals. He's not handicapped nor is he mentally challenged. But he is faced with a continuing unresolved personal issue: should life go on this way? The strain of not being able to share with others is unbearable, as the frustration of medical dead-ends leads to stress and the issue of being physically a man, but feeling like a woman (or vice versa) can become obsessive or even …

All of my seocndary sex chacteristics are female, and i never hit a male puberty and my voice never changed physically although I did start forcing it down after i grew breasts. I have no recollection of genitalia before i was 4, and my natural testosterone level was 347 before ever goin on hrt. before my grs....I had a scar that looked like fused labia. said scar heated up, got wet and could cause me to orgasm incessantly. when that scar was being...aroused, my quite well endowed male genitalia receded all the way up inside me to where the 7 inches of male, and …

I just saw this being advertised at Blockbuster and decided to post it here. I will rent it when I get the chance and will comment on it here when I do. Let me know what you think when and if you see it. It is Spanish with English sub-titles so that may stop people from watching it. I have watched many foreign films and read the dialogue and am so glad I did otherwise I would have missed many excellent movies. Anyway, here is what Blockbuster posted regarding this film. Genre: Drama Director: Luciz Puenzo Studio: Morningstar Ent. Release Date: 12/14/2010 Length: 91 min. Cast: Ricardo Darin, Valeria Bertuccelli Rating: 14A …
