Happy New Year, east coasters! Well, in about 15 minutes anyway. Tonight I am doing lots of shaving, maybe I'll try this face mask stuff my friend recommended, me and my wife will probably do each other's nails... and I'm not wearing any guy clothes. It's a symbolic little ritual for me as I pass into the new year, leaving baggage behind! And my one resolution really (that stuff I mentioned on the other thread was just serendipitous timing) besides "live another year" (thanks Kristi ) is that I'm not going to switch out to guy clothes until the first day of the new year has passed. Anyone doing anything in particular to celebrate our month? I probably won't unless it's something here at home. We've had several hundred (yes HUNDRED) shootings this year already, and I'm scared to do anything outside my home for fear of getting shot. Things like rallies, parades, and whatnot. I want to make the most of it this year, but I'm also scared. If anyone has a celebration, save me a burger or hot dog. Great, now I want a BBQ cheeseburger.

Here's hoping that pride month goes smoothly this year. Maybe we'll even get some legislation in our favor somewhere in this world. Preferably here in America. Anyone got any kind of plans for celebrating this month? I'm working with my legion on cleaning up a section of a popular walking trail. I'm not really able to do much due to the chair, but I do what I can.
