Hello everyone..I am kinda nervous. I am 38 and from Michigan USA. I have never been accepted for who I am. My hole life I have been pushed one way or another by my family. I was never allowed to just be me. I work in an industry that is very very non accepting of different people. I know for a fact I would never be accepted as trans. We have a customer that comes in and is trans everyone is nice to her face and talks about her behind her back. Its horrible. When I was young my mom pushed me towards playing with my older sister and her toys. Always told me I was supposed to be a girl. That she didn't want another son. But when I tried to express myself as a girl. She comp…

my name is Emery and i'm a 21 yr old transguy from Hayward (in the east bay area), CA. i'm not usually a fan of forums but this one looks like an actual good one. (: where i live currently i have virtually no support in the way of my being trans and it's something that i've been wracking my brain about -- how to find support and this could possibly be my answer. my best friend has been my dog Chloe for several years. she's a very tiny (but mighty) yorkshire terrier. i'm a big fan of films/movies as well as tv shows. i do like music, Green Day being my favourite, but i do admit i don't always keep up w/the newest artists or music, but that's okay w/me. i'm very ope…

Hello, I am super new to all of this as I've just begun my journey as a trans woman. I'm pre-everything. I found this community through my therapist. I live in rural Illinois with my amazing wife and beautiful 9 month-old daughter. I've only come out to my wife, therapist, and an old friend. Rural Illinois is not the best place right now. I hope that I will be able to connect with folks, find resources, and figure out a plan for moving forward.

  4. Hello everyone my names Paige I'm a feminine crossdresser and have been crossdressing pretty much my whole life, well.. for as far back as i can remember anyway. At 7 yr.s old I was sneaking my mom's nylons to wear. I always had that deep desire to be a girl! Pretty much behind closed doors, although i've had a few occassions where i was out of the closet..so to speak. I'm bisexual and have dressed for men on a few different occasions, and also dressed for a lady neighbor of mine when i was livng at a hotel for about a year. But unfortunately where I live now, its basically alot of closed minded people that wouldn't and don't understand my desire to be feminine. Which…

I'm new here. Call me DiscreteLoner for now. It's my internet name when I don't have to use my real name. I am 20 years old. I've just discovered about trans less than 3 months. I am a transmale which means I born female with the inside of male. I've always see myself that way since I can remember, but I've just discovered the appropriated and more accurated term to discribe myself. I'm glad I found this community. Discovering how people like me live their lives encouraging me to try to follow my dream. It gave me hope that at least I don't have to live in the shadow forever till the day I die. I am in a learning state. I gather as much information as I can. I am …

Hello, I'm Lauren, nice to meet you! I live in South Carolina. Like most of you, I have been transgender most of my life. I've only recently come to understand and identify that this feeling inside of me, that has been building up over the course of my life, is what it is. So as you can imagine I am awash with relief, terror and everything else in between. Fortunately for me, I have some awesome friends who are understanding and helped me seek out someone who can help me understand. I am now seeing a state affiliated counselor. With her help and the help of my local sisters, I am slowly understanding this aspect of me that I have both subconsciously hid and initi…

This is my second time around. Back in the late 90's I was diagnosed with Gender Dysphoria. I was married to an extreme Catholic at the time who could never accept that she would be married to a woman. We ended in divorce. Not necessarily a bad thing. I got as far as starting HRT and was living part time as a woman. One of my coworkers outed me and I went to HR to talk about it. HR said they would support me as I transitioned, but shortly I was let go. They tried to tell me that it was just a temporary job, but when pressed on who would do my job, they slipped and said they would have to hire someone. I was able to squeak out a few more months from them as I was completed…

Hello All I'm a mentally out transgender girl what I mean by that is I have not yet really changed my physical appearance so much yet... but i'm perfectly honest with everyone about my gender identity so much so that I lost most of my friends and support outside of my family my old church that I had attended for four years has shunned me because of this. I started a blog here check it out by looking at my profile activity. I'm also active on Youtube and twitter. And I love meeting new people and helping people out

  20. Hi all, I'm very happy to be here. I am 62 years old and MTF. I came out at 60 and started transition 20 months ago. I live on Long Island, in New York. I am a musician, love to play classic rock and the blues on one of my several guitars, mostly vintage Gibsons. I write songs too. I have two wonderful grandkids aged 3 and 8, and they love me no matter my gender. Kids just know love, as it should be. OK, I admit it, I'm a bit of a shopaholic. Love new clothes, shoes and bags, oh and guitars of course. I have some support from loved ones and friends but have lost so many people due to bias and ignorance including a twin brother and son, but I have also gained so…

  22. Started by LilyJane,

Hello, My name's Lily. I've (22) recently come out as trans to a couple of friends (MtF), but I'm looking for some online friends (finding people in person is proving difficult). I'm based in the UK and I'm currently living with my parents (I love them, but I haven't told them yet). Also, because I'm at the start of my transition, I sadly look male. Just wanted to introduce myself, so I guess here I am.

  23. Hello!☆ My name is Matthias. I am a trans man. I was recently kicked out of my home in florida and have been living with a friend for about a month now, but this is a temporary solution. My soon to be wife (trans woman) was displaced here by an abusive family member. She is temporarily living with another family member here who repetatively threatens her stability, picks fights regularly, and is generally unstable. The family member's partner is a gun happy idiot. Florida has been cruel to us both to the extent of actively putting us individually in physical danger multiple times. We have contacted several trans help resources and have a general starting point on how to g…

  24. Hello folks... yep, I don't always log onto my pc and use iPhone a lot, which is great, but fiddly - an excellent excuse to procrastinate! Ian here, Manchester England. If I have to use a 'label' then I'm Cis Male... or CisHet male... take your pick... personally I don't like it because I either think of 'Sissy' or 'Cystitis' - the former not applicable, and the later is not something I want thank you! Anyhow... here's a bit about me. I'm now in my 40s (see... told you I was a 'dude' - a girl doesn't speak of her age lol) but when in my early teens I enjoyed cross dressing... and this at the time made me question who I was... I did consider transitioning but having be…
