  1. Started by StripyMoggie,

Hi, I am married, dad of 1 little girl, and reasonably successful in my career in healthcare science. I am also TG. I came out to my wife a couple of years ago. Primarily I crossdress, but I experience vast waves of dysphoria from time to time. We are both struggling on how to assimilate my transgendered-ness with our every day life. I've joined this forum to find out more.

  2. Hello to everyone Now - how do I introduce myself? What labels/descriptions/terminolgy do I use? Gender and gender identity is so complex and individual that sometimes none of the prepaid labels seem to fit. First of all, "Ben Verona" is not my real name, but I guess many people here use a pseudonymn. On the face of it I'm a 64 year old man living in England. Here's the first stumbling block - your image of "64" might conjure up the word "old". Well - I don't feel "old" but I am also entirely comfortable with my age. I'm far more at one with myself than I was when I was 30. So - I'm biologically male but for many years I have identified more with my feminine psyc…

  3. Started by Bill,

Hello people, May I introduce myself: My name is Bill. My soul is female but my body is male. Until recently, only my grandmother knew. I have never even told my male (or female) lovers. My mother insisted that I was her little man, but grandmother knew better and was very supportive. None the less, I opted to try and act like a man. I loved them both but mom was boss. By the time I was eight years old I decided that, while I was a girl inside, I woud be better off acting like a man. Back then men were paid more money, don't have periods, hormal problems, have to give birth, and were not usually abused by their lovers. The only problem was the way I talked, ge…

Hi Lori and everyone, First I would like to say THANK you to Lori for your message on twitter and the information on how to get to the tgguide, I am a single, 56 y/o M2F,Pre-op ,I have been on hormones for over 5 years now, I live in a very rural area of Eastern Kentucky, I have no support group here in my area, to attend any support group I have to travel 3 hours to Lexington,Kentucky but my endocrinologist and therapist are also in Lexington ,Ky so it isn't such a bad drive, to begin hormones you had to have a therapist and the facility here in my area told me they would not see "my kind "so that is why I had to go so far for a therapist and endocrinologis…

  6. Started by Kristila95,

Hey everyone:) I've been on TGGuide for a week of so but have never introduced myself. My name is Kristina and most people call me Kristi. I live and attend college in Philadelphia. I am technically a "pre-op transsexual" woman but I prefer transgender for those times it's necessary to label myself. I like to discuss the issues that we as transwomen face in our lives....social, political, legal, etc. I also like the usual things like music, movies, nature, being with my friends, riding my bicycle, as well as dance, fashion and anything creative. I hope that everyone is having a great day and hope to hear from some of you:) <3 KML

Hi, everyone. Although I'm new here, I'm not new to the wonderful world of becoming a woman. I am so happy to find you and I'll be active in the discussions. It is so important that we support each other along this beautiful but sometimes difficult journey. No matter our stage or goals, supporting one another is so important. I'm lucky to live in California where I am very comfortable living my true self. Thank you to the moderators and administrators for making this forum possible and to all of you who contribute. Warm hugs, Alana

  13. Hello to anyone and to begin with a little about me I suppose. I am now retired and live in the southern part of the UK and have been around the TG community for decades. I transitioned originally in 1978 but life was a whole different kind of experience back then. So in 1994 I returned to the transition and this time it was successful, the world was a little more accepting. My story is in one book about gender variance, so I am an author, and also an artist and photographer. I also write a lot of poetry and on top of all that, I am also Autistic. I have fought long hard battles with those who have tried to hold us back, some successes and some failures but the bigges…

  14. Started by Karin,

Hello, My name is Karin', After years of making excuses, I am going to live my entire life as a woman.Started dressing and thinking as a girl very young...preschool years. Never stopped. I'll get more into details as I get comfortable on this site. (some details are very personal) I am currently searching for the right counselor/therapist to ensure I qualify for HRT, and to put the plan in place for letting everyone know. I dress and live every day as a woman, but only at home (and the occasional trips to TG friendly clubs) I've been out a few times but I felt so alone. I am going to get over that. I'm getting ready to do the "life experience" ...so I figured…

A big hello to everyone on this forum. This is just going to be a very quick introduction and for me to say hi to everyone. I did join up last year, but I have not been very active in my postings. In fact I think my very first written posts are of today. I will try and be a bit more active from now on. Most of about me, i think I have written in my Bio, but should anyone want to ask me anything else, please ask away. I look forward to getting to know everyone on here. Jenni

  16. Hello Everyone: I would like to introduce myself; my name is Jessica, and I am a pre-op mtf trans-woman. I personally do not like the mtf and trans title, which I am sure many of us with this condition does not like the title too and some have no problem with it and some have had to learn to accept it, which I am sure I am still in that transition to accept it. I have always known I am a female, as far back as I can remember, since the age of 3ish but definitely 4. I did try to come out many times and try to be a girl throughout my childhood but it came with much punishment from my parents and threats and other problems, which always forced me back to being a stupid…

This is the story of my transformation and my life as a crossdresser and how I was and who I was a girl or woman. It all started with a fight with a school bully who challenge to a fight at the park near my house and I lost the fight for he was on top on me and had me to being a sissy. I didn’t know what that meant at that time so I look it up and found it what it meant. That began my quest to find out what it felt like to be the opposite sex/gender. I started with my mother’s panties and then I got my own and then on out I started to get my own wardrobe. I have purged quite a few times and the third time being the last time and I got rid of my entire wardrobe in all. But …
