I was born in Devon and grew up in Plymouth. Went to Greenwich University to study engineering. Started work for London Underground as an engineer in 1988. Married twice. Seperated twice and divorced. Currently working as an environmentalist for Transport for London. in a relationship with Rich who I met two years ago.

I was the 5th out trans woman ever to stand for the UK parliament in 2015. since then I have been involved in awareness raising activities, including persuading my employer to fly a trans pride flag above our head offices for a week in 2016.

I transitioned in 2013 and only regret not doing it earlier.
