i started dating a trans girl earlier this year. We really hit it off and had many things in common. It was a really great relationship until we became serious. I wont go into details but i think im done with dating until after surgery. Besides, i think my hrt is sorta getting me into being attracted to men now. Stay away from relationships until after transition. not worth the pain.

Do any of you workout? What are your work out routines like? Also, is there a way to work out to make your muscles smaller (I know, dumb question, but I had to ask)? The reason why I asked is because I have a muscled/athletic build. I'm 6ft, 160 lbs. Thanks for your time everyone.

On Monday I attended my first real-life Transgender meeting in Appleton Wisconsin. TG guide prepared me well, for I spent most of the meeting listening to others. Then I asked one question and about ten people were suddenely eager to answer me directly. I felt comfortable in the group and I plan on going there every month. I strongly encourage anyone who has not had a real life experience like this to find a local group in your area. What is really helpful is to hear everyone's voices and see their mannerisms. The overall feeling is similar to watching some of the videos on you tube but even better. I am much more confident about myself after seeing how com…

Well My lovies , aint this a shot to the system , Yeah I know I am hardly around so when I do show up I hope I make it a good one , LOL Now lets get down to the nitty gritty of the whole "Transition Thing ", So your on the fence about wether or not to take the next step , ( that would be something only you will know ) , is there a first step well in a way there is : It would be Acceptance , not by others not by society but By You , if you dont accept the fact you have issues that need to be addressed and discovered why you may have any such issues then your not going to start to Transition in any aspect of Your life , being Trans any thing is not about being m…

Hi all, long time since I visited here, hope all are well. My question is about the word transition, I have read about people who abandon transition due to money, location, and the like. Does transition only mean physical changes? In my non tg mind, transition happens inside first, like for a M to F person, they are transitioned already inside, it's the clothing and appearance that matter so much? If money is the issue, but you are M to F inside, can't just simple clothes and maybe makeup be OK? Or does the meaning of the word Transition mean that hormones and/or surgery is necessary? I met a auto magazine reporter who was born male, and all they do is wear femal…

I just got off the phone with the Dean of Admissions and Academics and he informed me ill be starting seminary this fall. This is very exciting for me because not many Seminaries will accept a transgendered person to get their Masters of Divinity for a church. This is like a dream come true for me. I told him about my transition and the financial aid department is even ready when I change my name legally to Annah next year. He even gave me advice on how to do it effectively as he has a wonderful friend who is trans. All my life I struggled with churches putting us down and for the first time in my life, I see a church who really accepts me for who I am and they dont…

Okay, I must be extra brunette today or something , I've read the instructions, but still not sure what I need to do to start my own blog. I go to my control panel, and I see the blog, but it says no entries, where/how do I post a new entry? Anyway, my latest update is that I posted two new pics in my gallery on this site, and also that I have just received a great job offer as team lead/senior consultant for a Fortune 100 company. I will be moving to Columbus, Ohio next Thursday the 29th. Bobbie Jo

I am looking for any insight that others might have. My partner is having a very hard time with my desire to transition. VERY HARD. She says she just can not see me as a man. She says that it is like me telling her the trees are red when she knows full well they are green. I feel like I am invisible. Like I keep trying to show her myself and she can not see or refuses to see. I have not worn women’s clothes in years and I have never liked wearing them. I have always been on the male end as far as interests. It is not like I am all of a sudden showing something that was totally hidden. I see that I am asking her to rearrange her own identity but she can not even accept my …

Is it common to be gender dysforic not have an actual problem with my genitals? I know the feelings inside of me, but they do not result in an inward to outward hatred of my body. P.S. I am going to see a doctor that deals with transgender issued people, so I am sure that I will come to terms more about myself. I just figured I'd post this for feedback and for the points of views of others. I am willings to answer any questions in the case that you are wondering, "Whats going on with this person". Thank you everyone for your time. Bye. :)

Hey everyone! Soooo I don't post here as often as usual recently, as I have been quite busy with getting all the final steps of my transition in order. I am happy to say that this month of October has been quite possibly the best month *ever*. Despite some recent heartaches, bad breaks with being stolen and robbed from, and being discriminated at a particular job, I am happy to say, life in stealth is now a complete reality. Now, I have been going by Ashlee here for a number of years, due to the fact that I chose that name as it was the name my parents had planned for me during the pregnancy with me since I was assumed by doctors and all others to be born a gene…

It has been some time since I have visited or posted anything so I thought I would stop by and post an update . Where to begin ... it has been 10 months since I have gone full time , my name is changed , my gender changed . I have suffered no loss's save for one who after 9 years I thought was a friend . My wife and are are more in love than ever before . It is of late however that the most amazing changes have occurred , on a sad note my ex of 9 years passed away . The biggest changes , the best changes ... my three children who I thought for years were lost to me have come back one at a time into my life , we were estranged for the last 15 years . The first was my oldes…

I don't know if this is the right board for this or not, but I'm popping it here. We all know what cis means. Someone who identifies with the gender they were born as. But I'm curious as to where the term came from. Is it an acronym? Is it something that just popped out of someone's mouth one day and caught on? Is it an old word that I, for whatever reason, just can't find in the dictionary? This has been bugging me for a while. Is there someone that can enlighten me?
