I know i'm probably not the only one going through this type of situation. The one where you're going to college and staying with a few relatives. You might thing this isnt so bad right? Well wrong. I get treated like the outcast everyday. I get called Lesbian, Dyke, and other countless names involving my own personal situation. I have a brother that moved into the house temperarly with his fiancee and their 2 year old son. I liked that idea til my brother told me to my face that he doesnt care about me. He tries to dominate and act like hes my father (I dont have one anymore, because I disowned him) and he has no right to say sh*t to me about anything. The one parents i …

Hi everybody!! It's been a while since I checked up on this board. It's the way I operate really, but I do feel I was part of this community. I love you all and you gave me a great pillar of support when I needed it most. Thankyou all and much love. I've decided that I'm going all the way, I will be getting GRS asap. This isn't truely news, but my resolve is solid now. I will be getting everything, FFS and GRS. For me, and I stress for me as I know everyone's road in this is very different, it is what I need to do to be me. I am me on the inside. I am me in character finally. I am breaking the ice. Now I just wish to be able to see myself in the mirror. As me. So that,…

Hey everyone! So, Who here has had to feel the pain of being fired back into the closet.... Coming out for me was extremely hard because I did it on more then one occasion.. The First time, I simply just told my parents I was a lesbian, not an issue to my bio-mom. She already knew. By dad refused to talk to me for a few weeks until my mom Overdosed and I had to live with my dad. Then, there was a whole new problem-- My step mother who is a religious zealot. at the time, I was still figuring myself out, I never knew was transgender was until meeting a girl my sophomore year who was the nicest person I've ever met and she was trans. She helped me sort of figure mysel…

Hi all.Well i have read many of people's thoughts here and would like to post mine and ask if anyone of you have similar experiences and feelings.I am 24 and have always known i had to be a girl.Since i can remember myself all i wanted was to be able to drees, act, live, breathe and be accepted as a girl. When i was about 3 years old i told my babysitter (believe it or not) that i wanted to look like her daughter who btw was a pretty teenage girl and so she dressed me up made my hairl look really girly and talked to me as one for the rest of the day.No need to say i was in heaven.Even when my parents came home and found out they took it as a joke and we all had a good time-st…

  6. Hi. I don't know where to post this since I'm new here but here goes. Iv been wearing a bra for about three or four weeks now and it feels weird not wearing one now, like I'm exposed or something. It defiantly got me thinking, because I thought something was at lest somewhat screwy around senior year of high school (2/3 years ago). Since then Iv gone back and forth between non-binary, mtf, or just ... Idk. I tried estrogen but when my folks questioned me about it I got cold feet and stooped. I have always been interested in girls but have never wanted to be the "guy" in a relationship, it just feels weird. Iv even fantasized about being different female characters fr…

Adrianne and I never leave the house anymore. Unless we have to. We both carry, and when we have to go to the grocery store, we shop separately. We pretend not to know each other. If it comes to something that severe, we're all in extreme danger just for being seen. She and I have become extremely reclusive so as not to draw any attention. We're scared. I keep a shotgun by the door, and have several weapons in a gun safe. We're six shades of screwed for the crime of existing. At some point, some republiKKKLanazi is going to propose a bill that will charge all people of the LGBTQ+ community a tax on the air we breathe. And It won't stop there, as those who are allies that …

this post is sorta like a "spin-off" borne of a reply to admin's post in transgender news & happenings about an iranian film - i didn't wanna run discussion about the film off track. from an article Change Sex or Die: ""In Iran," Atrian said, "sex-reassignment surgery has become a lucrative, assembly-line business."" i have made comments in the past that i felt some of the "big name" FTM surgeons in this country are living off their name, the "fame" they earned in the TS world for specific surgeries. in looking at surgery pix at one FTM site, there are little-known and virtually un-known surgeons in other parts of the world who's work is MUCH better, dare i say …

I find this ridiculous, I sent out for my income tax at the end of January and I still have not recieved it. I called them up 3 times and went down there twice. I show them my documents that i have had my name legally changed since November of last year, and I even sent them with my income tax refund. Everytime I call them, they blame the Social Security Office, which i went to go see, and they gave me a statement saying my name was current on their records. I'm finding this really frustrating. Is anyone else having issues with the IRS after you've had a legal name change?

Hi Girls/Guys, Well I finally feel at peace now, I finally lost my virginity with a guy for the first time last night and it was amazing. I was so scared at first feeling guilty about doing it ( my old christian beliefs planted in the back of my mind )and that afterwards I would feel sinful and dirty. But I didn't, he was so kind and we took everything nce and slow, he made sure I was always relaxed. It was great!! At first we just kissed ( Well I'd never even kissed a guy!! ) I thought I would be grossed out by his designer stubble touching my face, but I wasn't, I thought beforehand the little christian voice that always tells me I'm a sinner for doing this or doi…

because we had gotten way off the topic of Dee's original thread - GENDER IDENTITY TESTS - i've taken it upon myself to bring the discussion to a new thread. our apologies, Dee. Insertnamehere (in reply to post #37, Gen TS Topics, GENDER IDENTITY TESTS) your thoughts on transsexuality and it's causes are unique at best. but i think your beliefs are born of your equally unique stand on gender. your posts up until recently made me believe you were MTF. then i got the impression you were GG. come to find out you are not GG, and really don't consider yourself MTF, yet you desire a procedure that many MTFs want - an orchiectomy. you said in post #37 "You should …

I have seen, and heard of, plenty of people for whom that's exactly the opposite. They pass wonderfully in person, and as soon as they open their mouths it all goes out the window. Or on the phone, where they just never pass. There was an FtM in a sandwich shop I frequent, today. I would've never suspected a thing until he opened his mouth and out came a female-pitched voice. I felt sorry for the guy... once I realized what was going on, it was apparent he had done chest bindings and everything, and he looked totally awesome. Just a no go on the voice. I think for anyone who plans on or is contemplating any sort of transitioning or passing, we can't just not worry abou…

I read this in another thread, and rather than take that thread off topic, I decided to start a new thread. I'm exactly the same way in relationships--which is one reason I've decided to avoid them! The thing is, as women, we've subconsciously picked up the belief that we're supposed to be passive and submissive, especially to those we care about. But what are we supposed to do when we are told by those we care about that we are supposed to act like men? Do we discard all femininity in order to submit? Or do we act like men and assert privilege that does not exist? [robotic voice] DOES NOT COMPUTE!!! I had a male friend in middle school who obviously w…

With all this discussion on the APA and how some within it want to proceed and see things.I think everyone including them should remember that when one seeks psychiatric help from a psychiatrist, the psychiatrist is there to help you understand yourself, your feelings, emotions and so on and why you think and feel the way you do about things. That being said, they then come to a conclusion based from their intelligence and unfortunately sometimes, based on their personnal opinion on an issue they think and feel they have a higher intellect and better understanding of.Giving no credit of knowledge, understanding and knowledge of self awareness of being to another having a fixed o…

Well, I decided once again to make another phone call attempt with my sister, *sounds of the phone ringing* finally my sister picks up the phone, although I was waiting to be disappointed again to listen to her answer machine. Well Paula answered the phone, and we started the conversations, catching up. Not too long ago my sister had told me over the phones that one of my family relatives had passed away, and so I had questioned her back in the past about when the funeral date was going to be? Well the date came and has gone, without Paula notifying me to attend my uncle's funeral, perhaps she was.. nahh scratch that, I know my sister was embarrassed about my gender app…

For the second time in my life I am experiencing my coming out, due to in large part by this message board which has meant the world to me. I can't help but feeling like this is my virtual family and support group. I really wasn't planning on coming out until my book was published in 2012 which is also the year that I retire. My wife has been acting so strange lately. I think it all started when she found a birthday card that I was sending to a friend that she didn't know so she opened the card that was meant to be mailed and it was signed Love Jojo. OMG! I was jumping through hoops trying to come up with a good story on that one. It seemed as if she was getting over tha…

I have a background in Genetics. When someone presents as TG at a Gender Identity clinic a blood sample is sent to the nearest Genetics lab to do a karyotype. As far as I am aware our lab has never diagnosed an intersex person through this referral route. Most are picked up by endocrinologists, paediatricians and fertility clinics. Intersex conditions are not very common. Yet reading through the various boards it appears a number of TG contributors legitimise their being transgendered by applying the term intersex to describe themselves. But they offer no evidence this was ever clinically diagnosed. It worries me. It does a disservice to those genuinely suffering from…
