Im at that stage where, I look like a guy convincingly but am still a girl. Whenever I use the womens change rooms at a pool or go to the loo, the girls look in horror and point and stare. It's getting way to embarrasing and I don't want to get confronted by someone about it. What should I do? Is it okay to go the mens toilets if no one sees you? I really don't know what to do.

I liked this article a lot and consider it good for all to read, both MTF and FTM, so I wasn't sure where best to post it. But heck, it's directed toward FTM people so this forum seems correct. I hope you agree and most of all, hope you find it informative: https://medium.com/matter/masculinity-means-7c11e2d976b4 Emma

Hi guys! I'm new here, let me do a quick introduction. I'm FtM, 19, knew something was up when I was 4, didn't know what it was called until I was 15 and I haven't undergone transition yet. I've never really been in a community or discussed the topic with people going through the same thing, so if I'm a bit wordy, that may be why. So I have a few questions. First of all, I know T changes your voice and all that but I'm concerned about my singing voice. I don't sing professionally, but I do have a bit of a talent with it that I like to use. I'm a 2nd soprano and I've done vocal training. I'm concerned that if I go through with T, I may never be able to sing with m…

Hey Guys Well, I finally got enough guts up to tell my wife that I am a transman. Her response was -- well duh, your the last to know. Not what I exactly expected but still it's good. it felt like such a relief to tell someone who knows me personally. Plus it made me finally admit it to myself. I have been saying I am gender queer for months -- I don't know why I was stuck there. However, I was at the fair and walking around thinking about things and realized that it wasn't genderqueer that I should be but transman. I don't want people to wonder which gender I am. I am a guy. I don't want anything to do with being a woman. I have already had a consultation…

  9. I've heard of many guys who lived for a while as lesbians before either coming to terms with being, or discovering they were actually TS. From pictures of guys I've chatted with, and pix of people like Chaz Bono, it seems that all these guys dressed like any other male. Many had very male looking hair cuts. All this despite identifying as lesbians at the time. While watching a video posted by Plague in the thread " it suddenly hit me - why do lesbian women like females that dress and act like men, yet they don't want anything to do with men. And if their male-acting "girlfriends" end up actually being TS and decide to transition...the lesbian g/f's drop them like…

Hello, I'm new here and I'd like to share experiences to people with female to male. I'm just the other way around (male to female disorder) but I think it's more interesting to find out why people would have those things I liked to remove. For instance: beard growth and why it isn't an option to live as a wife? If I was offline here, you can reach me in the instant messengers (view profile). Best wishes from Germany ;-)

  13. Yes, all of a sudden! Just this April she was Daddy’s little girl. End of this April she wants her hair dyed black. No problem. Letting her express herself. Then she starts wearing dark clothes and now she’s EMO. She wants to wear some of her brother’s clothes too. A little history…My daughter is easily influenced and I can name several changes she made in the past when hearing someone liked or didn’t like something, and she immediately changed to be like what that person preferred. She’s stubborn and a drama queen, always seems to over react to many things. My wife and I checked her computer recently and come to find out she’s been spending a lot of time on YouT…

By RICHARD PÉREZ-PEÑA Published: April 10, 2011 "In its January filing, Urban Treatment said that firing Mr. Devoureau was legitimate, “since the sex of the employee engaged in that particular job position is a bona fide occupational qualification” — implying that Mr. Devoureau was not really a man. I received the papers in the mail Friday from the judge!! He signed the paper for my official gender change!! He sent me 2 copies free of charge!! They must have found the file! I'm so relieved that I didn't have to refile, although the judge said I didn't have to pay again because it was their mistake for losing the file in the first place. Next week I will go to DMV and get my new DL. waaaaaaahooooooooo Just a little excited!! LOL Ethan

Hey guys, I live in Southern Utah and there aren't many resources available for the small trans community. I am wondering if anyone knows of website catalogs and other internet resources about ftm equipment and where I can purchase it. I'm interested in packys, strappers, etc, good quality and selection. I am eager to start my transition, but can't get the ball rolling till I have more resources and support. I'm down for some heart to heart and hearing about experiences as well. Thanks guys

Hi there, I'm new to this forum so hopefully I'm posting this in the right place. Ever since I can remember I knew I was different. I knew I had the wrong parts "down there". It was so unfair, when I was very young I didn't even realize I had something else, I thought I was just missing a penis. At that age (starting to use a toilet) I don't even know how I knew what a penis was, I just knew I didn't have something I should. As I grew up I always felt uncomfortable with my body but I never really felt particularly male or female. Now that I'm older I'm finding I have to do something about this dilemma if I'm ever going to be happy or have a satisfying relationship. I'm…

I had a question about HRT and other options. I'm 45 and had a complete hysterectomy at the age of 27 because everything had stopped working and I had extreme endrometriosis (sorry about the spelling). I have never taken any hormones. I work out often and I'm not a big person at all, definitely in the chest area. There are all these websites that sell testosterone and/or muscle builders. Right now, I'm just interested in having a little more testosterone in my system to help build some muscle mass, I know as I do that, it will also decrease my breast size. I am not in a position to transition because of my job and my kids. Even though I am a teacher, I don't dress …
