Many may question their gender growing up, but never really give it too much in-depth thought. Others will go along [happily] being themselves "because." And in a lot of cases, that they are not the gender they know themselves to be isn't usually an issue until - PUBERTY. Anyone have a favorite binder or compression shirt? I’ve tried gc2b but they didn’t work. I have back problems and couldn’t keep it on for more than an hour without extreme pain.

HI! I'm pretty new here. I have so many questions...But I figured Id start with something lighthearted and different. For those of you who have changed their names, where there any nicknames that you kept after changing? Any that you didn't want to give up? My family calls me "em" (shortened form of my birth name) and I really like it; but I know its not the alternative to changing my name. What did you guys do? find new nicknames? or keep them?

I like boys and girls. I prefer boys though. Do I have to only like girls to be able to get ftm srs? I was told tha I couldn't become a boy if I liked boys...is this true?

Yes, all of a sudden! Just this April she was Daddy’s little girl. End of this April she wants her hair dyed black. No problem. Letting her express herself. What Trans Men See That Women Don't Very interesting article for me too as I was AMAB and have transitioned to female. I've often read about how T is so powerful, that it makes trans men (and, presumably cis-men) feel more powerful and aggressive. Well, I never felt that way! Maybe that was because I always was a trans woman irrespective of hormones? Please add your thoughts. I'd love to hear from you and correspond about this fascinating topic! P.S. At the top of the Time webpage is a short video that was very interesting to watch.

May 16, 10:44 AM EDT Doctors say the United States' first recipient of a transplanted penis is recovering well from the delicate surgery. Surgeons on the Massachusetts General Hospital team who performed the transplant on 64-year-old Thomas Manning say blood is flowing to the organ. I made this a couple years ago and it's all very medically technical as far as terms but covers all the basics of what to expect when going through HRT. You can look up terms for greater explanation of them.
