Female to Male (FtM) Transsexual Discussion

I was flipping through channels on television and this show was on, decided to watch it. It's about a female, at the time of the show was 32 years old. His story has many up's and down's where the main focus was on his relationship with a cisgender woman and his desire to have bottom surgery. The show was by no means sugar coated, lots of emotions, arguments on many levels. Unfortunately I am not sure what channel it was, either ShowTime or Stars as my cable provider went down shortly after the show and my focus went to their service center. Any ways I would highly recommend watching this show if at all possible. Okay, I found it on Amazon and is free for Prime customers…

I don't feel valid and I don't feel like I fit into the transgender criteria. Throughout my childhood, I'd do things that were considered guy stuff. I'd rub my hair in the sand, play with boy toys, roughhouse, etc. When Mom chose clothes for me, I didn't fuss or get upset when she chose girl clothes for me. When I got to the age where I could choose my own clothes, I chose girly clothes and unisex clothes. I played with guys and girls growing up. I hang out with only girls now. I never wanted to be a boy, but I was a tomboy. When I got to the age of 11, girly things didn't interest me. When someone showed me something pink or frilly or girly, I'd say, "That's too girl…

So, I don't know if any of you have heard about it, but there's a magazine called FTM Magazine, I'm friends with the Editor who also created the Self Made Men site. When I went to the gender conference in Harrisburg PA, he wanted my story about being a transgender christian, and happily enough that my story was in the july edition.

Well my support system and girlfriend has left me she figured it was way to much for her to handle. I'm honestly not that tore up over it I guess that's because I realized it was better to rely in yourself then on others. I am happy I could just use some friends and I'm waiting for right guy or girl to come into my life. So has anyone else been told some horrible things during a breakup. Example: your worthless... Your not a man your just f-----d up in the head...

Hey, My name is ty, I'm a 19 years of FTM college student. I recently just re-bursted out of the closet i was forced back into last year. I'm the president of my schools Gay-Straight alliance and Black Students Union... Because I just came out, the school is unaware of me being transgender, Should I let my teachers for next semester know of my Pronouns and preferred name before the semester starts, Via Email? I want next semester to be awesome and in order for me to do that I need everyone to know me for who I am.

So, you would think after so many years of stabbing myself, this would get easier. I hate the days I have to do the T injections. Seems like it never gets easier. But hey. Who in their right mind enjoys stabbing a needle into themselves? Is there a nurse in the house?

So, just wondering if any one else is doing the annual fall ritual of not shaving? Oh what a relief it is!

Dennis Starr, formerly Dennis Croft, a star in the reality show "Small Town Security" had top surgery during the show's second season. Starr had to endure an exam so that it could be determined if the offending breast tissue was healthy enough to be removed. The results of the exam deemed all was well, but apparently the idea of destroying healthy caused him a moment of pause. Would knowing the breast tissue you wanted to be rid of was healthy stop you from going thru with top surgery? This story reminded me of myself. I too "met" someone online and, crazy as it sounds, fell hard in love. But she didn't know that the guy she had been chatting with was not a biological male.
