  3. Jul 29, 7:36 AM EDT STOCKHOLM (AP) -- She was off duty and wearing a bikini but that didn't stop Swedish police officer Mikaela Kellner from catching a suspected thief. A photo of Kellner pinning the suspect to the ground was trending on social media in Sweden this week. "My first intervention while wearing a bikini during my 11 years as a police officer," she wrote on Instagram. I was wandering around aimlessly looking at cute pix and reading interesting facts about penguins after tripping over a whatever-ya-call-it off the Windows 10 taskbar that advised today was World Penguin Day. 6. I wasn't sure where this one belonged, but since some have tried to blame it on transgenders, I thought it should be posted.

I hope you don't mind my posting something entirely unrelated to transgender topics. Just wanting to share some books and ideas with you. I love to read. At times it's a wonderful escape into the unknown or unknowable. I'm now thoroughly enjoying "The Hummingbird's Daughter" by Luis Alberto Urrea. It's about the author's real great-aunt Teresita, who lived in the late 1800s in Mexico. It's so much fun to be immersed into what life was like back then. Very brutal in many ways especially if you didn't happen to be part of the aristocracy. In case you like books such as this, here's a few others that I enjoyed: "Dune" by Frank Herbert I read this science fiction…

  10. I've talked about this with Adrianne a few times, and she's all for it. Despite being in a wheelchair, I still know how to fight, and feel like I could be a good instructor. It's not martial arts. It's completely different. I won't teach anyone how to use a weapon, but I will teach them how to defend themselves against someone using a weapon against them. I've been in countless fights over the years and the only time I was on the losing end is when 4 cowards jumped me from behind. All that said, I'm sure I could help some people out. I wouldn't set an age limit, but I think I would do best with kids. They're usually a lot more open to taking in information, wherea…

Hi, I would like to share with you all something that I read recently. I read this article which explains some habits that accelerate the signs of aging, https://www.mcleanclinic.com/blog/skin-care/5-habits-accelerate-signs-aging/ . Most of these things are what we do unknowingly on a daily basis. Even though we cannot stop ourselves from aging, there are some things that we can keep in mind to reduce its speed. Smoking not only causes cancer, but even damages our skin beyond what we imagine. And so does excessive sugar consumption. Things like too much exposure to sun and neglecting our skin are also some factors that accelerates aging. We should alwa…

So I know with myself navigating this transition and relearning me it's been a challenging and somewhat lonely experience. That leads me to my question, are there any resources out there that you know that may assist in finding a mentor or even just a pen pal to help support through this journey? Additionally, any ideas that could support those transitioning while incarcerated? I know many in prison that are lost and confused trying to find their way through their own transition.

Hello again, I dress every night after work, and I like to record some of my thoughts. I got the idea of a YouTube cgannel from a friend at work who makes underwater dive videos and has his own channel..I decided to do one myself to model my outfits and document my transgender journey. It is a work in progress for sure and has taken on a life of its own. I don't know how many trans comedians there are, but right now that is the direction I am heading. Needless to say, I have a ways to go in terms of contrent and production quality.. I think the one I just did on demonstrating how to take the foil off a bottle of wine turned out pretty well. It is called Wine Opening …

There's a site I have been to a thousand times over the years whenever I needed a chuckle. It's Bone Land. It has all sorts of flash on it, a lot of interactive stuff. The main character throughout the site it an idiot by the name of Jeb. There's tons of stuff at the site. If you want a recommendation I say check out The Court Of Judge Hellfire, and the town of Bumblescum. It's worth the visit. And go to the classic stuff. Some of it can get a little what some would call inappropriate, but most of it is just good humor.

  18. I came across this YouTube channel on Facebook, if you can believe that. His videos are all inspiration videos about believing in yourself and not judging a book by its cover among other things. I suck at descriptions, so I just want to post this short compilation of 3 videos of his.

I don't know how many have heard, but today it was announced that the show COPS is going to be cancelled due to the entire George Floyd incident. The show has been running for more than 30 years and made it through many other incidents of this nature. I personally don't see what a television show that is almost as old as I am has to do with this issue. So I have started a petition to try to save the show, because I find the reason for it being cancelled ridiculous. I checked with admin, and was told that this post would be allowable. So I'm asking anyone willing, to please sign the petition. http://chng.it/bxXn2k78Y5

Whether you have a president, prime minister, or monarchy, what is the proper way to refer to your government leader? Here in the states, we refer to the president as Mr. President. Since we have our first female president/vice president it would be Madam President/Vice President. There is almost always a “proper” way to refer to them that’s appropriate for this day and age. I can’t say I know much of anything about a monarchy, but I would venture to guess that people don’t refer to them as “Your Majesty” or “Your Highness” anymore. With a prime minister, I honestly don’t have a flipping clue. I know Canada has a prime minister, but I don’t know how they refer to him/her.…

  21. I have always loved blacksmithing. Specifically bladesmithing. I had to give it up a long time ago due to circumstances that were beyond my control. Now I've been watching Forged In Fire, and it has brought me back and given me that spark to go at it again. Adrianne bought me a forge for our anniversary. Now I need to find a good anvil, vise, tools (tons of different kinds and purposes), a power press, and a power hammer (Big Blu would be great). I also need to clear out my garage so that I have a place to work in. Once all that is taken care of, and I have the different grades of steel to work with, I'm back in it. I even have a name. I'm going to name it RatLady Forge. …

The Movie , The Spider Mites of Jesus opened last night in Richmond Virginia to an invited audience . Produced by Jerry Williams and Ray Bentley , This movie examines the twisted , sorted life of Donnie Corker , aka Dirt Woman . Every city has such a colorful person in the LGBT community . Richmond and Roanoke Virginia had Donnie . Donnie passed away in his sleep due to cancer and heart failure . There will never be anyone , at least in Richmond that can or would replace him . I can say he really was a hero to me because back in 1973 , between he and Christine Jorgensen , these two unlikely characters showed me it was possible to transition to the woman I am and thank God…

I'm watching the nightly news at the moment. They just showed a story about an infant, who was only a few months old, that died after being left in a daycare van for several hours. I'm at a complete loss about what to even say here. The language I want to use would make the people of Pompeii have their ears bleed. I've never been a fan of people, but you do not harm a child. And if you do, you deserve things that I can't say here. Let's just say that inmates have it right in their treatment of you. May the Gods take the child into their palace.
