Hello Everyone my name is Karla and I am originally from the north of England.I am 36. Ever since a young age I have wanted to be female. This at the moment though is not an option, but I am now getting closer to what I want. Society and familial constraints dictate my life in a direction that is not truly me. This is something I hope to rectify in the future, but until then I aim to live my life to the best of my ability's. So a little about my home life. I live with my fiancée, my son who is nearly five months old, also my two step children aged 10 and 11. I have a 14 year old daughter from a previous relationship who I aim to see fortnightly. I also have a blog i…

I'm a pre-op MtF and ever since I can remember I've prayed to God to PLEASE let me get pregnant. Although I know on an intellectual level that someone born with a penis isn't going to get pregnant, emotionally I can't help but to want to give birth to my own children. I know how insane this sounds, but I see this as one very big indicator that I have a female brain and tell psychiatrists about this thought when they ask why I think I want to have srs. Sorry if this bothers you, really, I just needed to get it out.

Err, I guess I was spelling that wrong! (whoops) I found this video (they're not shy with showing the surgery, so, if that makes you queasy, avoid it) on Yahoo about the subject. I was sort of amused looking at the video of the guy who was going in for surgery. I was just like.. wait.. is that the "before"? *Looking down* I thought it was funny too that they mentioned "blood pressure medication". I was just like.. hmm.. yep.. I know what that probably is.. :)

Jessica mentioned on one of her videos that she used to sing all the time as a male and now she doesn't sing anymore. Why is that? What would be the reason for giving up singing in mtF transition? The voice is not supposes to change but do you ruin the tone quality or something else by forcing your voice to a different range?

Mine would have been being a cheerleader. I was always jealous at the girls who were cheerleaders. Whats Yours? Kellie

I am getting ready for full time test in general public and among family I am facing harder questions then I thought before. My mother used to read me a story about and ugly duckling that eventually becomes a beautiful swan. No matter how I look at it, As of now, my reality is that I am a better looking male than I am a female. I felt ugly in my first puberty and now I feel ugly in the second puberty. Please tell me there is hope. I am sure completing electrolysis will be a major positive change but will hormones do much more for the face beyond electrolysis. Even though I am a transsexual I keep asking myself why I want to change my body because most people …

Went to my Electrologist this week who has been working on my genital region in preparation for surgery and upon arrival she smiles and asked me to fill out a new patient form. I asked why since I have been seeing her for five years now. She responded with “I am starting early with the new you so fill in female for gender”. Next, my face hurt from a huge smile. I am so fortunate to have found this wonderful woman, as she is supportive to my transition. During the last few minutes of working on me she said something like; will to do your bikini line so you can wear a bathing suit. I looked up and said, you are sneaky and we both laughed. Caveat: I have been pleasantly…

Hi girls! I'm a 15 year old transgender from the United States, and I have some questions about the dangers of estrogen. I've been taking spiro for about 8-9 months on and off (I turned 15 a couple of months ago). Like, I'll stop for a week or two because I run out and order more. I'm going to start estrogen in about a week. I don't know how to get medical help. Would a doctor just help me for free? And is 1mg safe?

Would anyone like to swap bodies with me? Looking for attractive FtM in good shape who has not begun transition. Meet attractive MtF who has not begun transition but anxiously waiting a appropriate match. What if we could pick the perfect body and just transfer our minds to it. There would be a whole new industry of shopping for a body that fits. We know that this is currently impossible but in philosophy it is sometimes helpful to imagine the impossible to help us deal with the present. What if I could have the perfect body for me. Would I take care of it? Would I do the work required to keep it going. How would that perfect body change over time. How…

As far back as I can remember, I always felt that I was a girl. I would try on my mother's panties, bras, nylons, etc. This made me feel normal. When I was a teen, I started to buy my own things. My feelings to become the woman on the outside that I knew I was inside grew stronger and stronger. These feelings have only intensified. Now, I am excited to announce that I will soon begin hormone therapy! I look forward to the upcoming changes to my life. With love, Missy444

(5-7-05)~ BREAST IMPLANTS ....An Inside Story ~ I had a breast augmentation done in April of 2001. If you've been considering the procedure, this article is my attempt to let you know just how things went with me. I'm not saying that my experiences will be yours, nor is this an expert's primer on all there is to know about boob jobs. Total cost for my outpatient surgery with tax and all was 4.5 K. My surgeon, located in Fort Lauderdale, is locally-famous for doing all the "HOOTERS Girls" here (HOOTERS is a restaurant famous for busty skimpily-clad waitresses). During our consultation, photos were taken, and I was shown a book filled wi…

I'm now in a multiple electrolysis per week phase trying to clean off what was left by the laser (for some reason it just didn't do as much for me as it should have, and this was the same people who were helping others on the site who got much better results.. *shrug*). More exciting than that, I visited a doctor today for HRT consultation for the first time. We went through a bunch of basic health questions and family history. I had some mixed feelings coming away from there ... apparently I have some things that will not prevent me from doing HRT, but may very well force me to take extra drugs and use estrogen shots instead of any of the other methods (bleh ..... *shive…

I am a man in the thirties and I have been with women all my life and I love that. But lately I have been thinking and fantasizing about having sex with a man. Anal, BJ. The whole thing. I want to be the receiver and the one who gives the BJ. In other words I would like to be the woman and dress up like one with the clothes and the make-up and everything. One year ago, I started wearing woman's jeans, because they look so sexy on the girls. And now I just love it, I can not get them tight enough. Especially the skinny jeans. I only wear them at home though, don't dear to wear them in public. Every day I rush home to change into the jeans. Kind of a fetish to …

I had a disturbing experience last night. I was following the US election on Twitter when I noticed that a T-girl I follow was getting abuse from a man that she had chided for his comment that he had 'voted for Romney because he is white'. This man started to send her a heap of vile transphobic abuse and got his troll friends to do the same. I decided that I would take some of the hate from her shoulders, as she was clearly upset, and told the man that he did not have the right to call anyone a 'tranny and hoe' ( I assume that means whore). Naturally I then became the target. 'oh are you a tranny to, I bet mines bigger than yours' along with a drawing of his penis. …

Hey everyone I’m somewhat new to the forum and currently I am in the debating stage of coming out to people about my GID. There are definite reasons to and not to, but I would like some input. A little history about myself ~ I’ve felt like I should have been a girl ever since my very first memories. Growing up I’ve always felt like I was born in the wrong body. When I was young, I never knew about people being able to alter their sex and I have always thought I would just be stuck with what I am born. It was very depressing for me growing up thinking that I would be stuck like this forever and knowing that we only live once, my life was such a waste. But in light of tr…

I did a search through the forums before writing this and I didn't come up with any results, so I thought I'd ask. Can trans-women get PMS even without a menstrual cycle? Beeeecause I'm pretty sure I'm on mine. I've always had something that I've lovingly referred to as a "hormone spike" that started when I was living with a two room mates, one of whom was female. Back then we were directly in sync so I attributed it to being more of a sympathy things as my symptoms were present but not pronounced. I was also living with a much lower dose of hormones back then and had been on them for a much shorter period. At least back then it was easy to know what was happening - if sh…

I found this to be pretty interesting. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phytoestrogens http://www.dietaryfiberfood.com/phytoestrogen.php Phytoestrogens are chemicals produced by plants that act like estrogens in animal/"+human" cells and bodies. They are often trace substances in food, and can also be found in cannabis. These chemicals mimic and supplement the action of the body's own hormones, estrogen (the British spelling is 'oestrogen'). They are a comparatively recent discovery, and researchers are still exploring the nutritional role of these substances in such diverse metabolic functions as the regulation of cholesterol, and the maintaining of proper bone densit…
