I watch a lot of videos on YouTube, as well as movies on Netflix and Hulu. But I never see women with either the amount, or the style and placement of tattoos like I do. I've posted pictures of my ink in an album, but I'm wondering if they make me less feminine. The only things that aren't tattooed are my feet, butt, and genitals. Literally everything else has a tattoo on it. Legs, stomach, chest, back, arms, fingers, neck, and face. A fair number of which I would consider fairly masculine. I'm planning a few coverups, as the tattoo either is screwed up, or something I just don't want anymore. Currently there are 4 coverups in my mind. This is something that has been runn…

Hi everybody. I am new to this forum, so I hope there are other people who can share their advice and experience. I had my SRS about a year ago which is the best thing that ever happened to me. To make long story short, and to the point of this topic, I was told before I had SRS that in order to be orgasmic after the surgery, I should masturbate as frequently as possible so that I could be orgasmic after surgery. I must say that this was not an important thing for me - the importnt thing was to get rid of the nasty thing between my legs and be whole. Anyway, I masturbated whenever the hormones would allow me to, which is the most disgusting thing I have ever done, b…

Hi there, I am new to this site so hello all. :-) I'm a 29 year old post op woman, who had surgery in 2000 with Dr. Meltzer. I'm writing in hopes that other MTF post-op gals could share how they care for their "parts." Unfortunately, I have had a seemingly continuous discharge (sorry to be graphic) for the last five years and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I long ago lost the post op care literature that the doctor gave me, and so I don't know how often a TS is supposed to douche (I do it very rarely) and as I said, if others could post their vaginal care "regimens" (how often do you douche and with what solution, etc) I would be truly grateful. Perhaps by hearing …

Well, I'm very curious to hear other people's experiences about being TS. More specifically, I'm talking urgency. How urgent and when did you feel the need to transition? For me it was a state of utter inactivity. I wouldn't live as a boy. So I just let myself get sick. Didn't bath unless I was forced to. Stopped going to school unless I was forced to. Eventually stopped being even the least bit happy with anything. I just sank into myself. Mum was worried that I was slowly becomming one of those people that end up completely inanimate. But anyway. That was during my early and mid teens. I'm 17 now and have been on hormones for about a year or so now. Give or take a…

I should be working but can’t seem to focus, my mind is elsewhere. There’s some 70 + sleeps left till’ my GRS. I can think of nothing else this morning. I wonder to myself; Will my new vagina look nice?(lil' vain I know), I’ve seen many turn out very natural looking n’ pretty while others not so much … will mine work properly n’ orgasms be achievable?, I’ve read several accounts were much of the sensation was lost by 6months post-op (that’s a bit scary) … I am happily married to a woman so is depth even important to me?, I think I’d at least like to be average compared to other transwomen. I hope surgery goes well, as with any surgery there’s always a possibility of c…

This is a quote from Koreen from another thread. "So I am, as I knew when I began taking female hormones in April 2006, compromising my true gender aspirations for the sake of my marriage" Jojo wrote: "I have been craving and longing so desperately for all these years to be able to wear the clothes and make up and all the rest of the stuff it is just killing me". This bums me out. Jojo and Koreen I am very fond of, it is terrible to think that their entire lives will be spent in the suffering that this must bring. I was wondering if there comes a time, when resentment reigns. I am wondering if it is just a matter of time before the resentment of being forced (if…

  8. Well, it has been six weeks since I made the appointment to see the endocrinologist... and the fateful day is November 1, this Thursday. I can't believe it's already this week (ZOMG!). But now that it's here, I have no idea what to ask. My mind is such the blank. And since I read up on so much on my own, I already know a great deal about medications and effects. I guess my only questions are (1) can you prescribe me hormones and get my insurance to cover it if possible and (2) what hormones should be prescribed? I did ask my wife to go with me, and after thinking about it for a bit and talking to her counselor, she decided it was a good idea -- if simply to have …

Yesterday started off terribly. I cut the back of my hair to keep it looking like a bob and my wife got furious. She said all the same hurtful things she normally does and we fought about getting divorced. Then, the conversation actually got beneficial. She told me how she was actually feeling. She told me about how scared she is of losing me. She told me that she hates me as a woman because she sees me as killing her husband whom she loves so dearly. Finally, we came to a compromise. As long as I hold off on hormones and GRS (so that she can still have sex with her husband), she's going to respect who I am. We've planned a date for shopping and dinner this…

I heard vaguely that certain HRT drugs can result in different changes to the body. As in one drug might cause a person to fill out in the butt, but another might cause more breast tissue. Is this true? Which ones to what, if so?

I'm having kind of a tough time right now. I have to go off of my hormones in preparation for surgery. I've been off of them for about four days now and I'm really starting to feel tense. It's like I have all of this pent up destructive energy that's tearing me apart from the inside. I'm just plain angry for no reason and it's driving me nuts! Does anybody have any advice on how to get through this? I can't relax, I certainly can't sleep, and I'm having violent fantasies about beating up local gangsters (who I ironically despise because they are violent). This is just not good. I don't know how long I can put up with this.

As I live in Thailand carrying out research on T-matters, I wondered why all Thai transsexuals are sexually orientated towards men. I haven't met anyone yet who changes from boy to girl and then turns into a lesbian. My husband is a SRS surgeon in Bangkok and most of his clients are western transsexuals. He is always surprised to learn that most of them are (or have been) married (with children) and their sexual orientation is towards women. In Thailand this fenomenon is quite unusual. Although there are more transsexuals than streetlights in Thailand, they haven't been married to women before they transitioned. Kind regards... Pantau (I am myself 25 years post-op (tra…

It's easy to find info about all the good things HRT can give you. GirlInside's site (the 'warning' page) got me thinking though... what are all the bad things that can happen? What are the worst case scenarios, and how common are they? I know it's probably dependent on the exact medications, e.g. spironolactone causing problems with potassium and thus you can't drink much orange juice or eat too much banana, and you sometimes get light headed standing up. I've heard things about bone structure damage but I'm not sure what that's caused by either. (Too long on a T-blocker without estrogen?) And while we're here I might as well add FFS and SRS to that. All the guys i…

Hi I am wondering if I am transgendered even if I get sexually excited wearing womens clothes sometimes but I also just like to wear and not have this happen? I have in the past enjoyed women's clothes as a pre-teen and and continued off/on over the years. I still sometimes just like to wear womens clothes because it just feels right but can still get sexually excited especially with certain lingerie and fantasizing. I look at sexy women and want to be like them and have bought women's shoes, lingerie, jeans, bras etc and enjoy wearing them. I love the feel of shaved legs pantyhose. I sometimes look transexual (shemale) porn and am sexually excited by this als…

Those of you who know me are aware that I have been "out" everywhere except work. However, the past 3 weeks I have been coming out at work more and more. several months ago, I started wearing nail polish at work. A month ago, I got my ears pierced, and have been wearing the stud earrings all the time. For the last three weeks at work, I have been wearing eyeshadow, mascara, all girl clothes, I have been wearing jeans, blouses, panties, pantyhose, woman's shoes, bracelet, my cute dainty woman's watch, etc. Thursday I will take it yet another step and wear high heels, I have already advised a couple of people that I will be wearing high heels on Thursda…

This is also for FtM's too, Sorry, I should have put that in the title, my apologies. You are in a place ( heaven, a different universe, where ever we begin ) and you have no form but are completely coherent and are intelligent. Standing before you are two children's bodies. One is a boy and one is a girl. You have to decide which one to be born in to. But there is a catch. If you choose the boys body you will live until a hundred years have passed, with a life free from illness, making many friends and have a family that loves you, you will be wealthy and not want for anything but there is no such thing as SRS/hormone therapy and GID has not been or ever will be …

I have moved from a large Metro Plex to a small rural area in south Texas and have been with out my medication for three years. The hot flashes and night sweats have become unbearable and weight loss mood swings etc. Problem is I have no idea how to go about finding a doctor to prescribe my medication and or if medications have possibly changed over the years. I also am wondering what the side effects for a post op that are not taking their medication? Anyone have any simuler experience or know where I might start to look for a doctor? Well, well, how things have changed for me. Where do I start ? As you know a few weeks ago I was extremely depressed and had thoughts of suicide, due to the fact that my wife was thinking of divorcing me and threatening to take my children away from me. I have now decided to divorce her and will be serving papers on ASAP. I will looking at a new house about 30 miles away from my current location to start my new life there. I've also been informed by a friend who is a Solicitor, that when she divorces me, it's not going to go to well for her as she is an extreme right wing Christian and that it is discrimination on medical grounds against me because I have been diagnose…

Today was the happiest day of my life. I went to the mailbox and a letter from the Clinic was there. The first thing I thought was of great another bill. I opened it and saw that I had approved for SRS. I cried all day. I made copies and have original framed onthe wall. The world has now opened up. I still can't believe it. For something that has occupied my entire life to be confirmed is awesome. I just hope I am not too old for the surgery. Yes Jolene, there is a Santa Clause !

Although I have begun HRT and I am also using T-blockers it seems that my facial hair is still growing faster than I want it to. I plan on getting a laser removal later on but in the mean time do any of you know of a good way to retard or slowdown the growth of facial hair? I was under the assumption that the hormones and T- blockers would slow my facial hair growth by themselves. As far as laser treatments are concerned are they expensive and do they work well?
