Hi everyone, I'm Amber. I am a single country girl who is south of Orlando, Florida. I am a non-op trans girl who began my transition in 1995. I was blessed with a relationship with a wonderful man for 18 years until heart trouble took him from me in 2013. I had originally planned for srs in 2012 but circumstances beyond my control changed my plans. My main goal now is to live my life according to what makes me happy and not dwell on things beyond my control like how people think I should be living.

I am a man who should have been born a girl. As a child I did not like boy play; I preferred girl’s styles; and I was an avid reader including reading all of the Little House on the Prairie books written from Laura’s point of view. I could not play boys sports and struggled to fit in with groups of boys. For example at summer camp, I spent all of my time doing crafts. Later, in high school I adapted managing to fit in as a male, but was never really popular because I was not masculine enough. Dating was a nightmare. I hated to be the one to ask girls out and be rejected, oh to have been the girl instead! In college these issues became less important. I remember b…

Hello and hugs from Claire,I am a post op trans woman and transitioned when I was young. It was about the age of 3 I knew that I was born in the wrong body.It did get worse when I was 5 years old and did come out at the age of 8 finally.Parents were stunned at first and figured out I struggled with my gender ID.A therapist did diagnose me with gender dysphoria and my parents knew what to do next.It was let me live and dress as female and was put on the male hormone blockers when I was 10 years old.The exciting part was on my 16th birthday,my mom said I was going to start my transition with the hormones. My parents were ready for this part already, seeing their unhappy son be…

Thank you for accepting me. I have recently decided to quit fighting these feelings I've had my whole life. As I'm still new at this and trying to both learn and understand, I'm hoping to find a friend nearby I can talk to, learn from, and help me along the way. Thank you so much. 💘

Hi everyone, i posted a thread earlier without really introducing myself properly. That other thread I posted mostly concerns how I can ease my wife into my preferred gender identity without hurting our relationship. Here is that tread Incase you would like to help out my name is James and not sure what I’d want to change that to if I ever transition. I’m only 25 and I grew up in the states but moved to China and now will be moving to Japan. Currently nobody knows I’m trans and I have bottled it up for years, I think I started to feel I was a girl inside since I was 15...but I can’t really remember. The only girly thing I’m really interested in is cute things…

Hi everyone; my name is Breath Mormorer (more more ray). I am starting my transition; I start hormone therapy next week. I have always tucked; my earliest memories are at age six. I grew up in an abusive home and pretty much had the girl threatened away. I would only tuck in private; nobody knew. I tucked every day of my life,(randomly through the day). I only got to be me in private; sit my way; hold my fingers and hands my way; walk my way. Then back to a boy. I was sexually active,(sex allowed me to imagine myself as her), dating women. I could only reach climax imagining myself as a woman making love to a heterosexual man. I married twice the later was my besti…

Hi my name is "Skibz" and my best friend of 15 years is transgendered and NEEDING to transition from his female body into the male body he was meant to have. I've always kind of figured my bestie was trans because he expressed many things growing up that are kind of common transgender feelings about being in the wrong body and wanting to be male and such. Anyways I'm a HUGE supporter of him transitioning and I just want to do everything I can as his best friend to be the best support I can be for him as he's deciding what exactly he wants to do and going through the trials of living in this body that's such a prison for him and in a world that doesn't always accept or und…

Just a short note, so folks will know where I'm coming from. Since I was seven, I knew something was wrong. Born male, I would frequently go to sleep, praying I would wake up female in the morning. Try as i might, I never 'fit in.' Never having any interest in men, I was often assumed to be gay. I tried many jobs, had many adventures- all in the hope of finding my place in life. Around 1990 I was in Chicago, and began to transition. I was about 32 then. Dressing in leggings and tunics, with womens' shoes, I was right at that magical point where folks began to think I was female. I sought HRT, but was put off by the various barriers put in by the gatekeepers back then. I l…

Hello everyone! I am a big supporter of the community. For the last few years I've been working with my own son. He is going to be five and I know that is very young, so we are not making any decisions. I am just supporting who he is by letting him express himself anyway he chooses. We have had to stand behind him and inform people that toys don't have gender and that he is allowed to play with and wear what he wants. He is young so I do not know what the future holds. This could be a phase but since it's been going on since 2 I doubt it. Either way, whatever he chooses, I just want to be the best mom ever. I will be by his side always. A little support and understanding…

Hi I'm Jennifer and live in St Louis. I have been "crossdressing" since age 8 and until maybe the last decade, never considered the real reasons and motivations to do so. Today I consider myself to be a transwoman. I have not fully come out as a woman and hate having to hide it more than anything else...especially from family. I have been through the "purging episodes", getting rid of her so I would be normal but always come back to me. I want to find other TG/TS persons experiencing the same feelings and be able to share or express, maybe even find help or give some. I know it sounds as though I am a newbie, after 40 years of feminizing myself I probably have some things…

Hi there, I’m a 21 year old transgender woman hoping to undergo hormones soon. I’m really excited for this transition. Growing my hair out has been important in making me feel more feminine, but I know it’ll be a long process. It’s nice to meet everyone here and I hope to make some new friends.

Hi everyone, I really don't know what to say here other than hi. I'm quite terrified of what I'm doing (or actually about to start doing) I've hidden it for my whole life and the few times its been noticed I have been berated at best and at worst beaten senseless. I've now told exactly three people in my entire life, all of them recently, what I am having known on some level since I was around three or four. A few other people figured it out on their own and it was ok, and in one case really good, the rest have been harrowing experiences that made me hide it as best I could. I've decided that its time to stop hiding and do something about it, but I'm scared witl…
