  1. Started by BayAreaShannon,

Hi, I'm Shannon, and I'm pretty new to all of this. I'm a MtF, and have not started hormones or anything really yet. I've always known that I was a female inside of me, but I've never had anyone really to talk to about it. I feel that becoming a woman is the best way that I can fully express myself and would love to start down that road. Like I said, I really don't have anyone to talk to about it, but it would be really great if I could meet a few people here that would be willing to talk to me about it. I've got a lot of questions and I would love to meet some new people. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! -Shannon

Hello all of TGG, On here I'll be using the name Brian. I'm 18 years old and recently came to terms with me being transgender. I've been aware of being transgender since around the age of 10. I was the blue eyed blonde haired little girl my grandmother adored. I was very confused and wasn't sure if I was supposed to say anything. But inside I knew that I was different then what I showed on the outside. I wanted to be the rebelious boy that ever parent loves to hate. Besides that I'm in college currently and looking for employment. I'm glad to meet all of you. Brian

Hi, everyone. My name's Morgana, and I'm part of the US military. I'm also trans, but I don't feel that should determine my ability to serve my country. I'll probably be asking for advise a lot, so I hope I don't annoy anyone.

Hello,I am Debra Michelle.I am a part time crossdresser. My first interest in feminine clothing was at the age of 4.I remember loving what my mom wore that interested me.I remember mom walking out in a dress and heels all made up when we went out to a formal event. That is when I knew I wanted to be like her sometimes. My younger brother has always has been tough masculine guy.Growing up,I wasn't like him.Mom sensed there was something wrong with me right away, thought I was unhappy about myself. Finally discovered it when I was 10 years old,mom caught me walking out with a pair of her wedges on.Had a talk with me on it and I told her like wearing feminine clothing and shoes …

  9. Hi all, It's only been a few weeks since I decided to transition and I'm a bit nervous. I could recount my story but as I've already done that in a blog I'll just link it here. http://thetranslesbianexpress.wordpress.com/2014/12/17/small-beginnings/ I have a few good friends who support me so I'm luckier than some, but my family would never understand. Thanks for letting me join. Also: Someone really needs to change or remove the Captcha on registration. It took me 20+ tries to join. A less persevering soul might give up.

Hello, everyone. I was told of this site by a coworker of mine (whom of which I'm not sure desires to be named), and I've come to see what it's all about. Any suggestions for navigating the site? Introduction time. As previously mentioned, I'm Daniel. I'm a transman, and have been in active transition for about three years, now. Something was different for as long as I can remember. From kindergarten until my realization at 16, I was fighting a battle within myself I was uneqquiped to deal with. I always ran with the boys in kindergarten, trying to girl the girls 'cooties' and what not; when I started to hit puberty, I never wore what I should have for the develo…

  13. My name is Karen, a stay home mom to 4 beautiful yet challenging children some with deeper special needs than the other. We adopted our family from the State being foster/adopt home. Adam was 1st to come into our family finalizing adoption when was little over 2yrs. We had him since was 13mths. Once able to walk steadily & a foster daughter came it was game on to try to wear the clothes, shoes, hair stuff we had set aside since she was a newborn. We didn't discourage him & let him express himself. It was really cute till it didn't stop & we saw how different he was from other boys. That point we accepted everything, never shamed him & waited to see …

I am not out to very many people, no one in my imediate family, but I would like to try and change that sometime this year, if at all possible. Hi everyone, I am glad I found this. I am new to everything and have recently been coming to terms with who I am. This is something that I have always known , even being a kid at 5 yrs young. Everything in my head has always viewed myself as a feminine soul. At one time in my twenties I had really considered making a transition but figured I was meant to learn something as a man. I have come to realize that may not be the case. I am learning everything to consider but I just recently really come to the realization that I am transgender. I identify with woman so much that I figured it would be best to get this worked thru. SO i first started at am I even transgender. F…

  18. I would like to say Hello to everyone here, and a nice thank you to the people who started this wonderful resource center, and to the maintenance team and all the volunteers who give their time for us. My nickname is Lulu, I am a sixty year old female. I started my actual transition in 2009 and had SRS in Bangkok Thailand in November 2010. I returned to Thailand in 2012 for additional surgeries. I have read many posts, and I believe that everyone visiting this resource center will benefit greatly from the wealth of information and suggestions. Thank yo…

  19. Started by Bill,

Hello people, May I introduce myself: My name is Bill. My soul is female but my body is male. Until recently, only my grandmother knew. I have never even told my male (or female) lovers. My mother insisted that I was her little man, but grandmother knew better and was very supportive. None the less, I opted to try and act like a man. I loved them both but mom was boss. By the time I was eight years old I decided that, while I was a girl inside, I woud be better off acting like a man. Back then men were paid more money, don't have periods, hormal problems, have to give birth, and were not usually abused by their lovers. The only problem was the way I talked, ge…

  20. Started by Alli,

Hi, I would just like to introduce myself. I'm a bit nervous thinking that someone may actually take the time to read this, it's like taking a test in that I feel as though I'm going to be graded on how I present myself.I've always lacked self confidence and tend to avoid situations that may draw attention to my- self. Now,that having been said,Hi everybody!, I've been here only a couple of days and already I am beginning to feel as if I belong. I've been on hormones for about four years and couldn't be happier. I will be glad to get away from the regular dating sites and make some real friends. I really don't know what else I should say here exept that…

  21. Hello everyone! I'm a young, queer, cis ally located in Cambridge in the UK. I found this wonderful resource through twitter. I've always had a lot of involvement and passion when it comes to LGBT and queer issues, and I'm planning on doing a PhD on transgender injustice, partially inspired by my incredible trans friends and partner. I also run a blog - http://genderben.com - where I try to talk about all sorts of queer and gender related issues in a way to make them accessible and engaging to a wider audience. Look forward to getting to know you all! :)

Hello and hugs from Claire,I am a post op trans woman and transitioned when I was young. It was about the age of 3 I knew that I was born in the wrong body.It did get worse when I was 5 years old and did come out at the age of 8 finally.Parents were stunned at first and figured out I struggled with my gender ID.A therapist did diagnose me with gender dysphoria and my parents knew what to do next.It was let me live and dress as female and was put on the male hormone blockers when I was 10 years old.The exciting part was on my 16th birthday,my mom said I was going to start my transition with the hormones. My parents were ready for this part already, seeing their unhappy son be…

  24. Hi my name is "Skibz" and my best friend of 15 years is transgendered and NEEDING to transition from his female body into the male body he was meant to have. I've always kind of figured my bestie was trans because he expressed many things growing up that are kind of common transgender feelings about being in the wrong body and wanting to be male and such. Anyways I'm a HUGE supporter of him transitioning and I just want to do everything I can as his best friend to be the best support I can be for him as he's deciding what exactly he wants to do and going through the trials of living in this body that's such a prison for him and in a world that doesn't always accept or und…
