Hey y'all. So as I said in the title, I'm definitely not new. I had an account then kept on forgetting my password so I decided to just get lazy and make a new account then actually write down the password. but for those of you who don't know me! My name is Tyler, I'm 19 years old. I'm from New jersey, When Is tarted on this site, I was questioning my identity, and I was for a few years though I did Identify as some sort of trans*. It took me until maybe last November to actually finally start coming to terms with it, at least with the help of my club on campus and school professor support, I;m finally starting to be a little bit more happy with who I am. I also…

  2. Started by Andrew,

Hi. My name is Andrew and I live in the United Kingdom. I recently discovered I may be transgender during a course of therapy for depression. Even at school I thought I was different but did not understand why. Sadly I have been told I can not get any medical help regarding being transgender for over 2 years. I have set up a petition to try and get more transgender centres open to help Children and adults get their wait time reduced in the uk

  4. Started by Bill,

Hello people, May I introduce myself: My name is Bill. My soul is female but my body is male. Until recently, only my grandmother knew. I have never even told my male (or female) lovers. My mother insisted that I was her little man, but grandmother knew better and was very supportive. None the less, I opted to try and act like a man. I loved them both but mom was boss. By the time I was eight years old I decided that, while I was a girl inside, I woud be better off acting like a man. Back then men were paid more money, don't have periods, hormal problems, have to give birth, and were not usually abused by their lovers. The only problem was the way I talked, ge…

  5. Hello My name is Helene Barclay, I live in the Highlands of Scotland. I am a transvestite, a man who enjoys female impersonation. I love the challenge of attempting to carry off a portrayal of a female and enjoy experimenting with make up, clothes and wigs. I won't deny there is something truly adventurous about taking on the appearance of the opposite sex and I enjoy the collision with my upbringing as such activities were considered taboo. I also enjoy confronting societies perceptions, prejudices and taboos. Being a transvestite appeals to me as I love the mystery of illusion. It is actually great fun to be a man yet shave your legs, your chest, sit in front of m…

Hello,I am Debra Michelle.I am a part time crossdresser. My first interest in feminine clothing was at the age of 4.I remember loving what my mom wore that interested me.I remember mom walking out in a dress and heels all made up when we went out to a formal event. That is when I knew I wanted to be like her sometimes. My younger brother has always has been tough masculine guy.Growing up,I wasn't like him.Mom sensed there was something wrong with me right away, thought I was unhappy about myself. Finally discovered it when I was 10 years old,mom caught me walking out with a pair of her wedges on.Had a talk with me on it and I told her like wearing feminine clothing and shoes …

  10. I've suspected; a year ago, I even asked, "are we still using female pronouns?" So, it shouldn't have surprised me, but it did. I'm not girly, not even close, I just thought he was a rough and tumble girl like me. Any other Moms here? Any advice on how to get used to using his new name? We just made another lifestyle change - husband and I quit our jobs and are moving the family to a farm in another State. So, while it is a great opportunity for him to start fresh, entering the new school as a boy, I don't have the slightest clue where to find doctors for a cold, much less where to find doctors, counselors, and other stuff we'll need to correct his body. What will we ne…

Like in the title, my name is Ashley and I identify as a pansexual pre-op transgender Wiccan man who was in a bit of denial for the first 24 years of my life. Well not quite denial until I was in fourth grade. Up until that point, I just thought of myself as different but a normal kid nonetheless. My earliest memories of my childhood was the continuous shunning of dresses, dolls, tea sets and tea parties for playing with the boys in the neighborhood, playing on my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle big wheel, and always wearing little boy's clothing. Then around fourth grade, I started to realize I was attracted to both boys and girls and started making myself feel guilt…

  14. Hello to everybody. And to Lori thank you for your warm kindness. A little about me ... Madison Rae. Trying to keep it short, basically knew I was different from a very early age. went through many of the same trial and tribulations of most other gurls. Long ago I accepted myself for who i am. But its only been this year that I started to plan and work towards what I call "My Exit Strategy" Some may call it "coming out" but since I really haven't figured out what that means yet, I will simply call it as it is. Me finally exiting the shadows of my comfortable closet. There is still a great deal of planning and research for me but the time is growing closer. Right now…

Hi I'm Jennifer and live in St Louis. I have been "crossdressing" since age 8 and until maybe the last decade, never considered the real reasons and motivations to do so. Today I consider myself to be a transwoman. I have not fully come out as a woman and hate having to hide it more than anything else...especially from family. I have been through the "purging episodes", getting rid of her so I would be normal but always come back to me. I want to find other TG/TS persons experiencing the same feelings and be able to share or express, maybe even find help or give some. I know it sounds as though I am a newbie, after 40 years of feminizing myself I probably have some things…

Hi, my name is Teri, I am a 41y old Trans female. I Only recently accepted myself as transsexual, around a year ago, I told my wife first and that was the hardest thing I have ever done. We started therapy just last December, and by March was starting hrt. I have been living full time since the beginning of May. And the UPS have far outweighed the downs. My realities have already exceeded my expectations.

Well here's me. 43 years old and finally moving where I know I should be. Married, but that is changing soon, dad of 3. Been on HRT since the end of March 2015. Other than how slow things seem I love every part if this. I am vocal in twitter and Facebook. And from the encouragement of my sisters actually started a timeline with photos. Next step is YouTube vids. I attend Gender Alliance of South Sound meetings in Tacoma, WA. Have also attended PFlag meetings. And well cannot think yet of what else to add. Looking forward to exploring this site.

  21. Started by shawna,

Hello everyone. I just came out as transgender MTF to my husband of 20 years... He is the most amazing guy he is all excited about starting this new chapter in our lives. I know we have a long road ahead of us. I finally got the courage to tell him what I have known all my life. I am in the wrong body... I have a few questions for those who live in the Tampa Bay Area. Is there a community or area that GLBT community lives meaning a place like Provincetown Mass or Key West where we can move to? Also is there a female Doctor in the area I can go see so I can who specializes in MTF trans so I can get the proper medical care and start HRT. Is there a therapist with a PHD. th…

  22. Started by TinaG,

I am 57 and just this week is the first time I ever told anyone about feeling transgender. I have know it since I was a child but in my family we never addressed any kind of issues or problems. Just don't talk about it and it did not exist. I have never understood how I feel but I knew it felt right and brought me comfort to imagine I was female. But I was full of shame and could not talk about it at all. I could never let anyone really get close to me, even my wife, for fear they would find out who I really was. After being in therapy for over a year for depression, I finally told my therapist this week. He was the only one I had ever spoke to about this my whole life…

  23. Hello everyone! I'm a young, queer, cis ally located in Cambridge in the UK. I found this wonderful resource through twitter. I've always had a lot of involvement and passion when it comes to LGBT and queer issues, and I'm planning on doing a PhD on transgender injustice, partially inspired by my incredible trans friends and partner. I also run a blog - http://genderben.com - where I try to talk about all sorts of queer and gender related issues in a way to make them accessible and engaging to a wider audience. Look forward to getting to know you all! :)

  24. Started by Mjblog,

My name is matt my given name anyway. I consider myself transgender (undiagnosed). I used to get super embraced to even say it in public. I've already come out to my parents though some may think that is a mistake considering I have not talked to a professional. I'm considering finally going to see a therapist about it. I'm here to find people to talk to get different perspectives on being trans. . Hello beautiful people I'm really glad to meet you!

  25. Started by Lizz,

Found this group through twitter and it all seems super positive, so I decided to join up. I am thinking about starting a blog on here, but have a feeling it could to turn into a full blown book. I enjoy being a nerd, a coffee snob, a hipster and riding my fixie. I hope to have some great discussions with you all in the future. Have a good day
