I am in my 70"s and my life has taken a dramatic change this summer. I lost my job of over 10 years at then end of June due to a restructuring of my workplace. That was out of the blue. And then three weeks later, my wife died. She had been struggling with the after effecrt of cancer treatment for many years and lately with COPD. Her body just finally wore out. We knew it would happen, but we  thought we had more time. As it turned out, niether of us knew she was dying. She just went, so maybe that's a good thing. She did'n't linger. 

So now, after being almost continuously married since I was 23 with three different wives, I find myself on my own for the first time in my life. I am able to take care of myself since I have been doing that for a long time now, but I have never been alone. So while I still grieve and mourn the death of my wife, I am free to do whatever I want--pretty much anyway. So I am now able to be Michelle, and I am diving right into it. My blog will be about my life as Michelle from here on in. I hope you enjoy the story.
