There are some people who would just giggle and stare, but sadly there are those who tend to act out their differences in a physical way, that is sometimes known as trans phobia. Well, its was my 2nd day appearance in court, to face my neighbor who decided to harass me due to my transitioning as a full-time female. Anyway I walked into court with a friend to be seated. I am soooo happy as of last Monday I Victoria Anne am legal , the judge signed the papers changing my name and I was jumping for joy ,literally I was so excited. I have this step done and now I can move forward , I can't describe the feeling it is so wonderful. I had a friend with me and we celebrated the event with a manni and peddi lunch and dinner. I can't wait to get all the papers filed with all proper parties so I will get my mail in my new name, I am just so happy and had to share with you all.

Hi Everyone, I’ve been away for a while ... my personal life has been quite hectic with very much having happened since I was last on the forums. I'm wondering how you all feel about trans (MtF) athletes competing in sports events who haven't started medical transition? Though I sympathize with them, unless they've been on puberty blockers or HRT, testosterone will generally give them an advantage over their natal female peers, especially in upper-body strength, as we're seeing in competitions where socially transitioned MtF youths are consistently beating their natal counterparts.

I have often worn a bra and considered bras the most feminine of clothing usually worn by females. Since taking female hormones, I have wondered whether wearing a bra on a regular basis during the day helps shape one's developing breasts. Thank you for any insights about this subject.

I recently filled my gallery with the nicest pictures I could come up with for now because I was hoping it could help me feel better about myself. Hello friends, I am writing to let you know that i have completed orchiectomy.. I feel very calm and satisfied with the decision to have this procedure first as I could offord it now and was able to get clearance as well. It is very strange to wake up with absolutely no sexual desire. Recovery is a process and I hope to have some feelings come back, but when the doctor said this is it, Yes this really is it. My body is no longer fighting testosterone and even without estrogen I feel extreme calmness and peace. I am also very happy that I did my complete name change and id changes before this procedure. I was with my mother the other night, and we usually end up on some topics that I wouldn't expect, but it just so happened that night we ended up on just the topic I needed to get my foot in the door. I casually began inquiring whether she would be upset, or okay with the fact that I would eventually like to start hormone therapy. I didn't relate it directly to transitioning, but she did ask whether or not it meant relenting my birth name. Hi Everyone, I've been stewing about this and wasn't sure where to put it, so decided to get it out on it's own topic... The male testosterone...I've heard makes you "hairier, greaser and more horny.." and that is sticking with me like a raspberry seed in my wisdom tooth. Though I definitely want to transition at some point (and sooner than later is starting to sound super nice) I don't *like* hair on the face, or underarms. It's just me. Todays' spot was about those who insist they are the other gender from an early age. Tomorrow is about transgender teens. I went and asked my pastor my gender confusion. Has been very comforting and compassionate toward me. He brought up some good questions for me to think about so I will post it here. "what is truly masculine and truly feminine" Is it all about clothing and feelings and emotion? Could it be possible that the goal for all human beings is to understand that these to areas of a personality are ok possesed partially in both sexes and that the only real problem is when we repress them? One day I had conversation with my social worker, we have known each other for quite some time as friends, and Laura is aware of my transition. Anyway, during another conversation with her regarding hormone therapy, and her respond is that she feels I'm going against nature, and so I get the impression that Laura is not being supportive. :unsure:

Hi, I am very apprehensive. I have just sent an email to my mother telling her I am gay. Now I am hiding in the corner waiting for the backlash. I think my Mom is cool this way, but I cannot be sure until she responds, I hope this goes well.

On March 29th, a task force will be formed in order to create a ministry for LGBTQI persons, allies, friends and family. I will be attending that meeting. I'm very excited about this. there are a number of gay and lesbian couples who regularly attend. So far as I know I'm the only transgender person there. Maybe I'll meet another trans person. I'm excited because I believe that the church should be leading the fight for inclusion and equality. I will let you know how the meeting went.
