Many may question their gender growing up, but never really give it too much in-depth thought. Others will go along [happily] being themselves "because." And in a lot of cases, that they are not the gender they know themselves to be isn't usually an issue until - PUBERTY. Well my support system and girlfriend has left me she figured it was way to much for her to handle. I'm honestly not that tore up over it I guess that's because I realized it was better to rely in yourself then on others. I am happy I could just use some friends and I'm waiting for right guy or girl to come into my life. So has anyone else been told some horrible things during a breakup. Example: your worthless... Your not a man your just f-----d up in the head...

So, you would think after so many years of stabbing myself, this would get easier. I hate the days I have to do the T injections. Seems like it never gets easier. But hey. Who in their right mind enjoys stabbing a needle into themselves? Is there a nurse in the house?

FINALLY. After agonizing over it... going to someone who DEFINATELY didn't want to cut it... I did it!! And am happy with the results. Even though my dad had a small freak-out over it. So! Happy Holidays!

What Trans Men See That Women Don't Very interesting article for me too as I was AMAB and have transitioned to female. I've often read about how T is so powerful, that it makes trans men (and, presumably cis-men) feel more powerful and aggressive. Well, I never felt that way! Maybe that was because I always was a trans woman irrespective of hormones? Please add your thoughts. I'd love to hear from you and correspond about this fascinating topic! P.S. I want to get the opinion of other FTM's on this. I'm 29, I've never had sex and never really been comfortable with the idea. When I first discovered I was trans, I thought this must be because of the gender dysphoria - makes perfect sense, right? Except that I'm getting to the point in my transition now (on T 2 years, had chest surgery) where that's not an excuse anymore... All of the FTM's I know are comfortable enough with themselves by this time to have sex, and none of them are virgins. In fact, most of them had sex even pre-transition. I am going for my hysto in two weeks. My hormone doctor told me that I would get even more effect from the testosterone once my ovaries are removed. I should have asked him this at the time but.. The thing is I really don't want more effects from T. I've already been on it for two years, I'm stable and I like the way I am now. So, does anyone know if it's OK to reduce your dose of T after having hysto?

I was inspired by the laser hair removal thread Do any of you guys have facial hair? If you do, is it just naturally there or do you shave to make it thicker or what? I was just wondering because I have what could be considered "peach fuzz", so I can say I have a small 'stache.

I recently made myself a binder out of wide elastic bands (I think they're 3-4 inches wide) and some long "bra closure" things. It works very well, and manages to squish off about five inches. Laid flat, it measures 21", and compresses 34" to 29". I could breathe fine and take a full deep breath if I wanted to. The problem I found is that after about a while of wearing it - only about three hours (during which I was only driving), it was more than just a little uncomfortable. Salutations! So far I am all round female, but wish to cross that line and live half the time as a male without T or surgery. I've been looking around the usually helpful internet for the past week and finding very little.
