While we try to insure that the content here on TGG is kept at least at a PG level, on occasion a video is posted that might contain a word or two of strong language. Members have done well to include a warning with the videos they post if they catch an objectionable word or two. On occasion, moderators will edit a post to add such a warning if necessary. Be advised, however, that occasionally, links to other videos that appear at the conclusion of a posted video, sometimes are to videos which do have content that may not be suitable for all listeners/viewers, and such links should be followed only at the listener's/viewer's discretion. -Michael

Is there a possibility that anyone else is going to the KC (technically St Joe) Crypticon this coming weekend? My wife and I will be there on Saturday. It's a 3 day event going from Friday thru Sunday. We try to go every year, but this one will be especially fun. Tobin Bell (aka Jigsaw) will be there Saturday. There's all sorts of actors from mostly the horror genre there. Another that I want to see for the second time will be Daniel Logan. He played the young Boba Fett in Star Wars episode 2. I met him last year at Knoxville Comicon. He's a really awesome guy. So if you're going, maybe we could grab a hotdog together? Anyway here's the link: Kansas City Cryptic…

    :D HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!!!!!!!

  4. My wife sent me this link earlier. If you go there you can check the status and it will give you an estimated date on when you will receive yours. She got the date on hers, but for me it said Payment Status Not Available. But I also don't file taxes due to my disability status. Either way it's worth a peek to get an idea when your checks are coming. https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment

May 18th will be the greatest day of my life ever. That is the day I go meet two of the top youtube celebs as they tour with a band that has become my favorite band to listen to. Those of you that have never heard of SMPFilms/DudeLikeHella..I will explain who that is. First look up on youtube for the Mean Kitty Song by SMPFilms(Cory"Mr. Safety" Williams). He is the man who is behind the song that made him an viral hit on youtube because of his cat Sparta. Cory has been a big impact on my life and has kept me from going insane when life was at it's worst. I would watch his videos and feel good knowing that I could relate to whatever he was doing or saying. …

Nothing can ever replace a loved one. We know that. But we have also heard many times that when you lose a pet, getting another one can help you through. Adrianne wanted me to ask what everyone here thinks. Should we get another puppy? She's worried about the other dogs not liking the pup. She doesn't want to stress them out. But we know that adding another member to the family can be healthy.

I was wandering around aimlessly looking at cute pix and reading interesting facts about penguins after tripping over a whatever-ya-call-it off the Windows 10 taskbar that advised today was World Penguin Day. And I ran across this feathery couple.... from https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/ This is why penguins are black and white - plus more surprising facts about them you may not know Story by Brittany Brown • Oct 19, 2022 Far right, uber-conservative, LGBTQ~/hating, evangelical extremists after seeing the above --

  9. Guido Barilla thought he had troubles before with his anti-gay comments....now, rival company Bertolli takes advantage of the situation, and advertises "pasta and love for all!" I wonder what Barilla would think of transpeople??

Just venting, I have been vaping for quite a few years, and have just discovered it is the culprit in my increased blood pressure. Switched to zero nic e-juice and for the last few days I feel like i'm dopey in the head, like a hangover, and agitated as hell. Not really related to anything here, just venting!

I watched the debate tonight. I was not happy with how it went. There were 3 candidates that only got the opportunity to speak 3-4 times in the entire 2 hours. Including my candidate. The questions were directed at 5 of the candidates and the rest were left to stand around like they were just there as decorations. How can it be a debate when less than half actually get to participate? Maybe the Iowa debate will go better.

  12. So, I am in fact a weirdo of the LGBT+ community , lol.. And I realize that maybe there are not many like me.. am I crazy??.. The thing is: I don't seem to find other people that, like me are very much "nun-like" .. and I'm starting to reallly worry.. You know; others that don't share much of one self, and specially nudity, or sexual interaction unless it is with very, VERY VEEEERY special people.. Am I really that alone there?? Lololo.. please feel free to share if you know other LGBTQ+ members like so , for everyone I know within the community or outside is waaaaay different regarding that "angle"; everyone is always much more open than me.. And I am wondering.. …

I heard this on _Good_Morning_America_ Friday, 9 May 2014. I wasn't paying full attention until some of these lyrics caught my ear, then my heart and now my mind. Although it's labeled "official" there are some mistakes in the text. There are links to other videos, etc. Perhaps some of them are real. So, I'm sharing this video:

Things we have learned from the movies… *During all police investigations, it will be necessary to visit a strip club at least once. *All telephone numbers in America begin with the digits 555. *Beds have special L-shaped cover sheets which reach up to the armpit level on a woman; but only to waist level on the man lying beside her. *The ventilation system of any building is the perfect hiding place. No one will ever think of looking for you in there, and you can travel to any other part of the building you want without difficulty *Should you wish to pass yourself off as a German officer, it will not be necessary to speak the language. 16. Sometimes I read the news and I just get angry. Some recent research into a news matter led me to the EqualityMatters.com web site. Did you know that 18 states still criminalize consensual sexual activity between same-sex partners? At least 12 of these states make such activity a felony offense. It is absolutely unacceptable that some state laws continue to target our people who have done nothing wrong. Oddly, I see Massachusetts on the list. I've thought of them as a progressive state, but they still haven't removed their law from the books, and they had one of the stiffest penalties for homosexual activity. Fable of the Porcupine It was the coldest winter ever. Many animals died because of the cold. The porcupines, realizing the situation, decided to group together to keep warm. This way they covered and protected themselves; but the quills of each one wounded their closest companions. After awhile, they decided to distance themselves one from the other and they began to die, alone…

In my humble opinion, EVERY member of Congress (and Senate for that matter) should be fired! They are an embarrasment to the constituencies they allegedly represent and rehensible to all Americans. Besides shutting the governement down, they want to get the US in a war with Syria. They do not talk about the 18 million children who go to bed hungry every night, the seniors (18-20 million) who really struggling, the one million homeless veterans, and the financial crises they and their cronies on Wall Street put us in. I could go on but it may take a lifetime to mention them all. I do have some solutions but telling them is like talking to the wall.

  20. Adrianne and I were out running errands when we saw a huge commotion. We stopped to see what was going on, and there was someone hanging off the ledge of the top of a parking garage. I watched him let go and hit the ground. The sound of the impact was nothing I would have expected. It sounded like someone slamming a car door extremely hard. Luckily, Adrianne didn’t see the actual event as I made her stay in the car. She’s kinda freaking out right now. I gave her some anxiety meds, so hopefully that will help her. It’s not something I ever expected to see. It will affect her pretty hard, but it’s not really something that phases me.

I have been a member of Second Life (SL) for about 4-5 years. I stopped once for a period of time because I had come out to my wife and I knew she was going to be searching the computer for evidence. I deleted everything I had on it, so I thought. She found some files but I don't need to discuss that here. The point being I left Second Life once and had to begin all over again when I rejoined. I was able to keep my first name "Bonnie" but had to change my last name. It changed from "Riederer" to "Ryba". So I am now known as "Bonnie Ryba". I unsubscribed again when I returned to my wife but have had a friend of mine in SL resubscribe me again before the 6 months wa…

My thinking was....as 2012 ends, man i hope 2013 is a good one. But, then, i started thinking about all i have to be thankful for. For all the good things that happpened in my life in 2012. For all the good things that i so often overlook. And, in knowing there are so many hurting people in the world, even in my own community, I realize, i have nothing to complain about. Life happens. Some good, some bad. I am going to try my best to hang onto the good, and do my best to deal with the bad, and then, let the bad go. Tall order given the fact i am human. I am just deciding for myself, to spend more time thinking about the good in my life, and when the bad happens t…

  23. Well, it’s come to a point that we can’t come back from. I have no choice but to give up my macaw. His screaming has severely affected my psyche. Last night Adrianne had to drive my wheelchair for me to the bedroom because I was paralyzed in it. Then she had to walk me into the bathroom to take a shower. But that’s not the worst of it. My nerves and mind were hit so hard that I actually had a seizure in the shower. Luckily I have a shower chair, and it’s a relatively small shower stall. So I didn’t get hurt. But she decided that if he’s causing me to have seizures, then it’s time for him to go. So we’re going to have to say goodbye to him. I don’t want to let him go, beca…

I have always felt that one of my purposes in life was to take care of my family. At 3 years old, my parents had a big fight and my Mom ran out and jumped into the car. I remember like it was yesterday, something inside me told me to jump in the car with her. She told me years later that she was planning on crashing the car...taking her life, but she saw me with her and couldn't do it. I have always felt my life purpose has been to be there for my family, even when they weren't there for me. I am now my Dad's primary caregiver. Took him to the VA on Thursday and they declared him legally blind. Also, with my Mom and my sister, they have always had a strain…

We celebrated early as my friend's mother needed to get home early and her daughter has to be at work (Macy's) by 4:30. I was pleasantly surprised that traffic was light on the way home but just the opposite heading to her place. When taking the picture I commented that my high heels made me tower over them so this is what they did
