Well, I'm very curious to hear other people's experiences about being TS. More specifically, I'm talking urgency. How urgent and when did you feel the need to transition? For me it was a state of utter inactivity. I wouldn't live as a boy. So I just let myself get sick. Didn't bath unless I was forced to. Stopped going to school unless I was forced to. Eventually stopped being even the least bit happy with anything. I just sank into myself. Mum was worried that I was slowly becomming one of those people that end up completely inanimate. But anyway. That was during my early and mid teens. I'm 17 now and have been on hormones for about a year or so now. Give or take a…

I am happy and satisfied with the way my body is improving. Just recently the chubbiness in my belly is going away. My ribs are starting to show and the overall shape of my torso is thinning. This is making my breasts larger and my hips wider. I am very happy with what I want to get bigger (boobs and butt)is growing and my waist and muscles are getting smaller. I believe I have turned a major corner and by all looks of my body I will be very feminine and curvy.

Hello all, My name is Kya I am new to the forums and enjoy reading the various topics discussed. I can relate to much of it. I am a MtF, I have been on hormones and anti-androgens for about two months now and am already noticing A LOT of changes, all of which are exciting and anticipated. I am under the care of a physician as well as a therapist for the past year. Basically just maybe looking for a few other girls to befriend and maybe have contact so I don't feel so alone. I have a wonderful network of friends, I wish my family were more understanding they have disowned me for religious reasons. All the best Kya

In contrast to the Being treated like a lady! thread, here is something that happened yesterday. I just spent the weekend in Chicago at a board of directors meeting for Lutherans Concerned. One of the other directors is a transman named Galen. Yesterday we were at the airport to catch a flight back to Minneapolis and stopped at the food court to get some breakfast. We both opted for breakfast burritos. We were both asked if we wanted guacamole. I had to pay 75 cents extra for my guacamole. Galen got his for free. So we're looking for a table, and Galen starts in being insensed that he didn't have to pay extra and I did. Frankly, I hadn't noticed that it had h…

I mentioned my in-laws had been told and were supportive. Well, my mother in law had been told anyway, and made some ominous sounding comments about my father-in-law. They talked today, my wife got ahold of her dad, they ended with a near yelling match, dad's at home depressed, the parents have been talking with each other and the rest of the family as if they only heard half of what my wife said (and none of the "it's a medical thing" parts). Some angry remarks were made about how it's inappropriate for us to have children now, and from my wife, how we'll damned well have whatever sort of family we want and they can go to hell if they don't like it. Egads. Damage Cont…

I read at an internet website about breast development for transsexual women, the development of breasts for transsexual women is usually different in certain respects from genetic women. The common differences in genetic male chest size apparently often or usually results in the breasts of a transsexual being smaller, more spaced apart, with a transsexual fitting into a 36B bra not having as large breasts as a genetic woman fitting into a 36B bra. I seem to pretty much fill in my unlined 36B bras. Yet when not wearing a bra, my breasts seem quite smaller than those of my wife, whose bra size is 34A. From a frontal view, my breasts eeem no more than a 34AA compare…

I've become to think I'm complete crap. I feel like people view me as mentally handicap and I feel mentally handicap somehow.... I feel like I could cure cancer and people would still think of me as bad since I'm transgender. I don't know what to do, I'm 17 and my family is in debt and poverty. I'm not sure if we will be able to overcome it and I know that we would be homeless right now if my grandfather wasn't paying our house payments. (I'm on the internet because I have an old laptop and I pick up someone else's internet connection.) My dad is trying to get me to do something with my future but I don't want to because of my self-esteem. I feel like the best thing I …

Ok , here is My Quandry .... I want to Create A list of Providers that is Up To Date and Vetted , I over the years have used A great number of various Providers as Referance for Others , What I am pondering is that I should compile a list of ALL , Providers That Serve LBGT patients . What I was wondering Should I cold call Providers ( which I have done in the past , You'll be amazed at how odd this is from the Providers aspect ) , or Use Various Forums to aquire Vetted Providers that Provide Services for the Trans Community . I know We have A Provider list here , the problem is that some are in areas that None of a number of Members live near , or some of them ar…

I hope this doesnt sound like too stupid a question, but since I have been hanging out here, and getting to know and admire you ladies, I have been talking to some folks I know at work, and so forth, about their opinions of the TG folks. I do this because now that I have hung around here, I am interested in learning more and I was curious how people I know feel about TG people. If anyone sounds negative I find myself taking immediate issue with them, and realize that they are speaking out of ignorance so I pipe up and become an advocate of sorts, but I don't know how to respond to their theory that TG's are "gay men who wear girls clothes". I know this is not the case.…

I was told over phone that the reason I am being denied for my breasts augmentation surgery cause I yet to completed 24 months of Hormones Replacement Therapy and not completed 24 months living as a female. Based on New York State Medicaid Policy. I truly expressed how I felt and how this is truly unfair by denying my Gender Dysphoria Treatment. I stated that when I originally had Doctor Jerry Chang to submit pre-authorization for breasts augmentation surgery I was denied on March 20, 2018 where United Health Care Community Plan was following United Health Care Community Plan Policy, Policy Number CS145.A, Effective Date 10/1/2017. Now, I want this denie…

After shopping for skin care products, I feel overwhelemed at all the choices. Narrowing my choices down, I have chosen a toner, moisturizer with an spf rating and a sensitive skin facial cleanser. In general, are use of these products adequate for daily outdoor exposure?

Since the majority of mtf are "lesbian" and the ftm will continue to be lesbian is it safe to say lesbian is the choice of sexual orientation? I guess it's true that women are not totally hetero. They are either bi or lesbian. I am a hetero woman. I know I will be sexually active with just men when I have srs. I am married and have sex with my wife only. So does that make me bi even though I am a virgin when it comes to men?

I should be working but can’t seem to focus, my mind is elsewhere. There’s some 70 + sleeps left till’ my GRS. I can think of nothing else this morning. I wonder to myself; Will my new vagina look nice?(lil' vain I know), I’ve seen many turn out very natural looking n’ pretty while others not so much … will mine work properly n’ orgasms be achievable?, I’ve read several accounts were much of the sensation was lost by 6months post-op (that’s a bit scary) … I am happily married to a woman so is depth even important to me?, I think I’d at least like to be average compared to other transwomen. I hope surgery goes well, as with any surgery there’s always a possibility of c…

I have seen a few posts that were describing some of the pain that was felt, and the feeling of hating the body you saw in the mirror, but started to feel better when HRT started. Did you feel better because you were moving that much further along in the transition, or is it because the actual hormones are affecting how you see yourself? Coming form a born female here, I have rarely, if ever felt like the hormones were "kind" to me. What do the hormones do? I know that for me they regulate the reproductive system and such (to no avail for me), but when reproducing isnt the issue, do they have an effect on how you actually 'feel'?

Hi, I am finally beginning to realize that I maybe a transsexual instead of a crossdresser at the age of 55. My thoughts all day are that of interest of being a complete woman in every way possible. I dream of shopping, beauty secrets, and making love to a man as only a woman can, Has anyone else felt this way at 55 and gone on with mtf surgery? If so was it worth it? Love to hear from all of you girls Love, Robyn

Hi there. Sorry if this sounds like a silly question or if it's in the wrong section of the forum. I am thinking of going to my GP in the hope of being referred to a gender therapist on the NHS. I'm really struggling on how to start the conversation with the doctor. For those who have experience with this before then what did you say to doctor and what did they say back to you? Also what happens in Therapy? Sorry if this sounds pathetic. Amy

Hi Guys, I've just joined today and wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm a 35 year old married " male " from England with 2 children and I was diagnosed with GID last year. I knew I was a girl I think from the age of five, my first memories were nothing special. I acted like a girl because I am a girl, at that age I thought all girls had a penis so this didn't bother me, until my mother had a baby girl. I soon noticed the difference between me and my sister and I started wondering why I had this thing between my legs and she did not. From then on through my life when ever I acted like a girl or wanted to do effeminate things, I would be heavily chastised by …

I'm not sure how I should start this or what way to word what I need to say, so I guess I will start from the start; I know I have always liked women and I don't see that changing any time soon. But I have always had problems with the way in which my body looks, I'm never the right weight, I either see myself as too heavy or too skinny; this causes my weight to fluctuate a lot of the time. I don't see a Males body when I look at myself a lot of the time, I have wide hips, quite narrow shoulders and a fairly small waist. But this isn't exactly what I am here to chat about, I have always gotten on better with and been myself more around women or gay lads; around straight la…
