I have since become more confident and have come out to nearly everyone I know and with great surprise I have had no negative responses ! I have spoken with my therapist and have finally set a date to begin my RLE . On September 18th I will cast off this lie that has been Tim for so many years and begin my life as the woman I am , I am very excited and can't wait for the 18Th to get here . I have donated the last of my male clothes ( save for work shirts ) to Goodwill . I have let everyone know the date my life begins , I Still have some Doctors to notify and the…

  5. “COMING OUT TG” Hi I’m Georgia. I am a Trans Gender person, and to be more clear, Bi-gender, and Bi –Sexual. This means I can appear as male, female, or a combination of both. I can have sexual desire for male, female or any combination of gender orientation. I am in a most wondrous relationship, and am totally monogamous, mating for life like the swans, or at least I have attempted to all of my life, but my former partners would eventually throw me out of the nest thinking I was an ugly duckling, whereas my swan-ness had not yet “come out”. I will turn 60 years old shortly and am beginning the process and getting the courage up to be “coming out” as my TG Self a bi…

I have been the primary care giver for my parents for the past 5+ years Mom passed May 1 2007 Dad Just passed Jan 9 2009. My wife and I were talking about the new future we now face. I brought up SRS and Lizzy said it’s something you have wanted a long time and you will end up doing it you might as well get it done. We were sitting in Starbucks (yes there is a Starbucks in the Bahamas and tears just poured out of my eyes. She then said she wants me to be happy but she is not licking and smiled. So now begins which would be the best choice of surgeon and surgical technique and time to aggressively get my body back in shape (which I was going to do now anyway). As I unders…

People , I really don't know exactly where to place this , but it really affects us as a nation ! The state of tennessee , once known as the "Volunteer State has somehow allowed the area to be taken hostage by some very mis - guided individuals , mabye Talaban spies . You may ask, uh what is going on here . Simple folks , we have allowed some religious fanatic to be running loose telling the world how he would , "STOMP A MUDHOLE IN THE CHEST of a TRANSGENERED Individual ". The same group of so called leaders has some Demorat operative , YES A "D" wanting to have Sports bras declared Ilegeal in public on women wearing them outside while excercising . he says the bras have…

Hey everyone, just quick question. Awhile back, someone posted a link to a website that described the brain chemistry differences across the spectrum of homosexual males, heterosexual males, transexual males, homosexual females, heterosexual females, and transexual females. I remember the results basically showing that homosexuals were very close in composition to their heterosexual counterpart of their birth gender, and showed that transexuals were very close in brain composition to their opposite gender's heterosexual levels. I began searching for this but gave up because of how active the forums are. The reason I am asking is, a news-based website my friend fre…

Okay so I often regret in my life not coming out sooner as I began to bald at the end of my college years and continued on till about a 1 1/2 ago. I took measures just before going on HRT and started to take a three part hair treatment that I bought over the counter. In a year of taking it while it did slow the hair loss and some hair grew it didn't do much. Taking the advice of my doctor I switched to a Generic version of Rogaine and instantly in a month I have a much fuller amount covering my bald area, while still there are patches its much more covered now. I have read studies in the past where a M2F transsexual on Hormones with treatment along with Rogaine experi…

I have a much better life since I started my transition in August and it was a rough journey. My family knew I was holding on to a long painful secret and came out in June.My parents had a very hard time with it and now seeing a family therapist on this,it is starting to get better now.Mom thought it was her fault including my dad, told them it's not their fault. This is how I felt feeling I am really a woman from the inside. My sister has coped very well knowing she is getting a new sister in her life.I am on the estrogen including the testerone blockers now and love the changes to my body.Live and dress as a woman too getting rid of my entire male wardrobe.Worst parts were …

Hello everyone. My name is Kierin. I am new to the site and very new to addressing my gender dysphoria. I live in L.A., I’m a registered nurse completing my nurse practitioner certificate, and I said I’m trans, out loud, to another person for the first time today. I’m not exactly sure what that means for me at this point, but I’m hoping I can find some resources, support and friendship here. Happy Pride!

  12. This is an interesting article about the neuron numbers in the central part of the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis.(BSTc) within the brain. Basically it states that Regardless of sexual orientation:- Men have almost twice as many somatostatin neurons as women Male-to-female transsexual neuron numbers are similar to that of females Female-to-male transsexual neuron numbers are similar to that of Males. http://jcem.endojour.../85/5/2034.full

Hi everyone, I'm a gender questioning young adult (MTF) and was wondering if i should transition or not. Since i was a teenager, i felt that i should of been a girl. I wanted to grow breasts. This feeling came and gone but it slowing built up. However, i never dress before because i don't have any sisters and my mom clothes would never fit. I don't know what i would look like as a girl. However, i have a urge on seeing how i look as a girl completely dress. I have tried on a bra and it felt awkward at first then it made be feel whole. Also, i could never really relate to the guys. I have been wondering why I get a sensation or a strong impression that I have female genitalia and/or breasts. Although I do consciously imagine being female, these particular sensations appear to come from nowhere so I don't think in these instances it is just a case of wishful thinking. In a way it could appear similar to people who have phantom limbs, being able to feel an arm or leg when it has been amputated. Some theories have been put forth suggesting that there is an area of the brain responsible for body mapping and that this body map is hardwired in the brain. I have read studies where FTM's growing up have a strong sensation that they have a phallus and/…

I read in the Flat to Fem program about using Pueraria Mirifica for breast growth. Has anyone used this, how much did you take, and if so what were the results? Just wondering if it was worth trying or not. I would like to work on developing breasts to start my transition.

So I am very lucky to have such a supportive mother. I was talking to her about all the things I have coming up with process and making my decision. She was amazed at everything I was telling her about hormones. Shes being there as usual and I am very lucky. We even discussed a bit womens names, so I have a couple good ones. I feel thats alot weight off. I also will be seeing my Dr Thurs to go over hormones levels as they are. I am kinda hoping that they are low and close to woman's. Im looking for those signs... I guess we will game plan the hormone regimen as well.... I have not started blogging yet but probably will once a firm decision and plan is in place. …

I am asking this because I am increasingly feeling lost , I am not sure where I belong . I know I am transgender but I also know this is a largely an umbrella term . I wear only womens clothing save for my shirt at work , I only use womens products , I use pantyliners and am taking mild hormones ( not to create physical change ) would that I could I would have breasts but I do not want to transition. So where do I fit in our community ? I have become increasingly confused as to where I fit in , I have been coming out more and more and really don't care anymore who knows who I am .

Jessica mentioned on one of her videos that she used to sing all the time as a male and now she doesn't sing anymore. Why is that? What would be the reason for giving up singing in mtF transition? The voice is not supposes to change but do you ruin the tone quality or something else by forcing your voice to a different range?

I am getting ready for full time test in general public and among family I am facing harder questions then I thought before. My mother used to read me a story about and ugly duckling that eventually becomes a beautiful swan. No matter how I look at it, As of now, my reality is that I am a better looking male than I am a female. I felt ugly in my first puberty and now I feel ugly in the second puberty. Please tell me there is hope. I am sure completing electrolysis will be a major positive change but will hormones do much more for the face beyond electrolysis. Even though I am a transsexual I keep asking myself why I want to change my body because most people …
