I want to start by saying that being trans gender is not a choice. I am pondering life as my wife just told me on Thursday she was leaving. I ran the gauntlet of emotions since then. I am torn into two sides, one side of me is broken and sad the other side is a little happy to be free. If I could have changed my mind somehow and stop being trans tomorrow I WOULD. That being said I reflect on the negatives of being trans. Lieing ....we hide everything about everything til I guess it's too late. Are we to blame, is society to blame for making us hide who we are? What choice did I have when caught as a child many times by my parents and told how horrible it is. How it was mo…

The following article takes you through what a transwoman went through while searching for a new job. There are several things to take note of e.g. the person was addressed with the incorrect pronouns and others followed suit because that is what they heard, not saw. These things happen not simply in job interviews but other parts of a trans person's life too. For those who identify as trans should consider who you would handled this putting yourself into their position while keeping in mind this position may very well be the only one available to you, if you don't get it you have no job. Well, now that visually my transition has me in a state where I pass as a female in public quite seamlessly. But it didn't quite prepare me for the casual shivalry, I've had older men - whom quite frankly I should be bloody opening the door for - opening the door for me to go into shops and things like that. Male doctors who have pulled out chairs for me to sit down. Despite being quite young, I am rather femminine and a little old fashioned. So it surprises me first that I didn't think to expect this behaviour. But what surprises me most, now, however is when a woman did it for me. Now, I am not shy about it. I am what would be deemed as a lesbian. I am probably te…

hey all. well something pretty dramatic has happened, and I'm a little bit shocked but very happy. I have always thought I could never fall in love with someone who wasn't female, I have just always been attracted to the female body. Today i was on a lesbian chat room which I sometimes go to, and I got a message from a guy asking if he minded chatting with him, so anyway I decided sure i'd happily chat with him as long as he wasn't after sex or anything. So we chatted for a while and ended up trading MSN names. and have been talking for hours since. Anyway, so now I;m seriously questioning my sexual orientation and all.

After my last post, and reading all the advice i got (which was pretty much everyone telling me to see a therapist) i've got an appointment with my GP tomorrow. I'm a nervous wreck and can't get it out of my head, but looking forward to it at the same time. If all goes well my GP will be able to set me up with a therapist, and i can start to work through some off this mess (my life). Ha, i'm sitting here in my room listening to the calming sound of the beatles. I've always had some musical talent but with the state my heads been in over the last few years i stopped playing my guitar/trumpet etc. This is one of the few occasions for a long time where im actually looking…

  8. It may seem far fetched but imagine getting a full 3 dimensional scan of your complete body geometry, This scan would then be entered in to a program that would allow the patient and the surgeon to transform the patient’s body into the precise appearance desired. Once the body shape has been defined, the program would determine what changes would be needed to the physical geometry, hormones, biological function and reproductive function. This means: e.g A MTF would be Totally anatomically, genetically female producing her own hormones, capable of menstruating, giving birth, breastfeeding. It would be absolutely impossible to differentiate between someone born female a…

Hi Girls, Reading about the family problems of Chen Ming, I almost feel hesitant to write about my own situation. The things I am experiencing seem insignificant compared to his. I spoke to my parents on the phone for nearly an entire minute. I wanted to tell them about my plans to start HRT at the end of the month and the appointment I made with one of the best SRS surgeons in Thailand. They weren’t interested. They said they were too busy to speak to me. Fortunately, Pantau wasn't too busy to see me and we spent some significant time together. These days I identify with transsexuals and I start to feel upset if anyone consider transsexuals to be freaks. Opening up…

I read a blog this morning and went to reply to it but it was recognized as apam so here it is this way. Posted by Dee_is_me63, Feb 13 2009, 01:01 PM How intelligent is humanity really? Replying to a friends message got me thinking about it.If one were to base it on it's actions one can only conclude it's quite limited. If not,it appears it wants to be viewed that way.Whether you look at it from a logical point of view or simply looking at it from a common sense point of view.Common sense tells us that in the reality of humanity everyone is different and everyone perceives things differntly from one another.Common sense also tells us that humanity can be good and ba…

Ok...back to the task at hand. I have a problem. Usually, when I need information, I use wiki, google, or if its newsrelated, the news paper. However, usually when it comes to exercise and 'body' issues, I google or use health sites. Back in May I began to become committed to the one thing I hated most in my younger life; running. I know, many think its crazy but I made it out in my mind to run daily, 4-5 days a week, at about 2-3 miles a day for 30 minutes. I didn't stick with it much and while the first two weeks I didn't miss a day, my defeatist mentality along with my excuses (well I only weigh around 155-160, why exercise?) I didn't keep with it too terribly lo…

I have been wondering why I get a sensation or a strong impression that I have female genitalia and/or breasts. Although I do consciously imagine being female, these particular sensations appear to come from nowhere so I don't think in these instances it is just a case of wishful thinking. In a way it could appear similar to people who have phantom limbs, being able to feel an arm or leg when it has been amputated. Some theories have been put forth suggesting that there is an area of the brain responsible for body mapping and that this body map is hardwired in the brain. I have read studies where FTM's growing up have a strong sensation that they have a phallus and/…

It wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. The best part was the questionaire the nurse wrote out before we started. Have any of the women in your family had breast cancer? Have you yourself ever had any kind of cancer? Are you taking any hormones or birth control pills? I told her that I've been on estradiol for 2 1/2 years. What would you say was your approximate age when you had your first period? At this point I started to laugh. Then I told her that I'm transsexual. Oh! I couldn't tell. So you never had a period. I guess I don't need to ask the one about giving birth either. I'm sorry if the question was embarrasing. No, I didn't think it was e…

Would anyone like to swap bodies with me? Looking for attractive FtM in good shape who has not begun transition. Meet attractive MtF who has not begun transition but anxiously waiting a appropriate match. What if we could pick the perfect body and just transfer our minds to it. There would be a whole new industry of shopping for a body that fits. We know that this is currently impossible but in philosophy it is sometimes helpful to imagine the impossible to help us deal with the present. What if I could have the perfect body for me. Would I take care of it? Would I do the work required to keep it going. How would that perfect body change over time. How…

  18. (I apologize in advance for anything possibly offensive I might say. This is my first time ever going into this much detail about this.) Hello. For the time being, I am choosing to keep my name private for personal comfort. I am not sure how active this forum still is, but this seemed like a good place to look for possible help, or even advice. I am 22 years old. For my entire life, I have lived as the gender I was assigned at birth, Male. However, once again I am questioning my gender identity. This is not the first time I have; however, this is the first time it has been this intense or serious before. I can count two other times t…

(5-7-05)~ BREAST IMPLANTS ....An Inside Story ~ I had a breast augmentation done in April of 2001. If you've been considering the procedure, this article is my attempt to let you know just how things went with me. I'm not saying that my experiences will be yours, nor is this an expert's primer on all there is to know about boob jobs. Total cost for my outpatient surgery with tax and all was 4.5 K. My surgeon, located in Fort Lauderdale, is locally-famous for doing all the "HOOTERS Girls" here (HOOTERS is a restaurant famous for busty skimpily-clad waitresses). During our consultation, photos were taken, and I was shown a book filled wi…

  21. What should I expect? Should I already doing some bra or sport bra shopping? The only way I see breast clevage is when I’m in the mirror pressing my breasts together and standing on my side I see small clevage. When I am facing front of the mirrior face ahead I don’t see any breast clevage when I’m pressing my breasts together. I read that transgender women who started late on HRT in older age won’t achieve the same as a teen transgender female breasts development.

As a TG MtF it is such a glorious feeling after 60 years, to feel my breasts as my arms brush by. With the help of a little modern chemistry they have now grown quite significantly. They may only be the size of a French model, but to look down at my t-shirt and see the curvatures, the pointed shape and the nipples outline without the need of my trusty pushup bra that has supported me all these years. It chokes me up, and brings me to tears, from sheer joy and fulfillment. I know some of you must have experienced the same or similar in your TG journey, and thank-you all for your support too. Love to all G

I was told over phone that the reason I am being denied for my breasts augmentation surgery cause I yet to completed 24 months of Hormones Replacement Therapy and not completed 24 months living as a female. Based on New York State Medicaid Policy. I truly expressed how I felt and how this is truly unfair by denying my Gender Dysphoria Treatment. I stated that when I originally had Doctor Jerry Chang to submit pre-authorization for breasts augmentation surgery I was denied on March 20, 2018 where United Health Care Community Plan was following United Health Care Community Plan Policy, Policy Number CS145.A, Effective Date 10/1/2017.
