  1. Dear Ace, Here at TGGuide you will make lots of friends. Also, when you attend Gender Conferences, you may meet many of the friends you made at TGGuide. Am assuming you live near Rochester Polytechnic Institute and other colleges. Many of them have LGBT organizations, and they are open to non-students. You may want to Google "LGBT Centers in Rochester, NY," as well as "Gender Conferences 2016," some of which may be relatively near you. You should be no more than a couple of hours drive from a transgender support group. Take your time as TGGuide is very information rich, and I would start at reading the Forums and Blogs. Glad to see you are writing your own blog. Find it very therapeutic writing my own, and I enjoy reading readers' responses. Remember, TGGuide is a very emotionally safe place! Yours truly, Monica

  2. If your experience is at all like mine was (and many others!) things could start happening very fast. I started out cross-dressing (without acknowledging being trans), and almost immediately knew that wasn't enough! Circumstances can of course dictate a lot, and fear of not being accepted is obviously a strong thing, but I agree with the others' sentiments about your friend and the likelihood that she'll stay with you - she may well have been telling you she already knows :-)

  3. there is something in a name... something powerful in its sound and relation to identity, so it must feel so good, validating, and accepting to hear others call you luna, which is much more your true name than anyone else gave or could give you.

  4. When I was just ocassionally cross-dressing I tended toward a more "fun" wardrobe (mini skirts, short shorts ,etc), but as I started presenting female more often (full time now since August) i've added some more business-like attire, but haven't abandoned mini skirts and short shorts (just not to work obviously)

  5. Oh.. I can see the whole picture now... thanks... those shoes are awesome... Mule heels... I just luv mule heels... easy on, and easy off, and show off bare heel, in hose or not... and the dress too,,, simple, looks like light material, I like that... soft and like wearing nothing... pretty, but not overly crazy flowery and girly... "Just right".... in femininity... Nice look, hon.
