I am 6 ft and at 160 pounds. I was just wondering your folks sizes before you transitioned. Am I just to big to transition if it is what my heart desires. I ask because I do have a thin, muscular build. Thank you so much for your input. Bye Bye ^_^

Hi Everyone, I started my HRT last month. I did one dose with an injection. Although my Doctor said the pellets are much more efficient and less side effects. I am considering taking his advice and use pellets instead. Does anyone has used pellets for HRT? Is there any risk of infection or contamination such HIV or Hepatitis? What should I look at? so im writing this to tell you that my experience in the women's shelter here at VOA has been positive so far. the women have been nothing but nice to me and treating me so well. i feel so relaxed and easy and i can be my self more here then when i was at the men's shelter. How to change your identity in France ?

Microsoft has called on me once more in regards to diversity and inclusion in the workplace for transgender people. I have roughly a week or so to write an article which will be presented on the Official Microsoft site. What I'm looking for are personal challenges/experiences that you personally went through good or bad. At this point I have my own information and a handful of locals but thought it prudent to get others from different countries/states.

attention everyone.....i got something i got to tell you that happen to me around 5pm PST at a place called the Reno Sparks Rescue Mission here in Reno Nevada. So the last 3 days since I have been staying here at the Women's Shelter, us ladies have been going to the RSRM for breakfast and dinner. I washed my Wig's for first time in 3 years ! Yes I did it! I am going full soapy, extra shampoo, with hot water, etc, to wash them all one by one!!! It's now a ritual to cherish the Wig's as I did loose one kit mind you(a wig, make up kit from MAC, some clothes, high heels, probably misc items ) that day but not my mobile device thank God! This has been a curiosity of mine for years, so I'm going to throw it out there: trans people when you dream are you male, female or neither in your dreams? After my GRS I would sometimes dream that I still had my old bits. Needless to say, this would cause some consternation! It went on for years (I'm 17 years post-op), though they have faded (thankfully!) and now I'm either not aware of my gender in my dreams or I'm female. What are your experiences? All the best!

So, even though I've been on this forum for almost two years now, I'm still not out or transitioning... or am I? It's really hard to say and I wonder how often people get into a similar situation and for how long... I've come out to some people and been outed to others, but I don't present as female in public. I have a background in Genetics. When someone presents as TG at a Gender Identity clinic a blood sample is sent to the nearest Genetics lab to do a karyotype. As far as I am aware our lab has never diagnosed an intersex person through this referral route. Most are picked up by endocrinologists, paediatricians and fertility clinics. Intersex conditions are not very common. Yet reading through the various boards it appears a number of TG contributors legitimise their being transgendered by applying the term intersex to describe themselves. But they offer no evidence this was ever clinically diagnosed. It worries me. It does a disservice to those genuinely suffering from…

People born with gender dysphoria have a physical difference between the sex of their brain and their natal sex so with this knowledge why are gender dysphoric people not classed as intersex when it is a scientific fact.
