I just saw this picture: www.divideby0.com/photos/2002-Anime-Expo/pics/DSCN1221.JPG and I thought, hmm, the girl on the right doesn't have that much of a figure, yet there's no question that she's a girl. I'm 36-32-37 myself and I wonder if my waist is 4 inches too large. After seeing that, I wonder, maybe my figure is okay?

Hi I have always had quite sensitive skin, and as is the same for everyone some parts more sensitive than other's. I pretty much shave as much of myself as i can legs, arms chest, stomach, pits etc. I find that after shaving that some area's start to get irritated and rash up. Over the next few days it gets worse untill it's like i have acne. In the past i've solved this problem by just not shaving those area's that are worse affected, but i dont like doing that. It just doesn't look right to me having these horrible jet black hairs. Has anyone ever had this problem before? If so is there a way to stop it? Any help would be much appreciated :D

This is a very important isuue for me and probably for alot of us ts girls. I would like to hear about personal experiences for post op girls and sex. I have not had any sexual experiences with men. This may sound silly but I am holding out until I get srs. I don't want sex to be the overriding factor in my reason for transitioning. I know if I were to start having sex with men it would preoccupy my mind so much I might become promiscuous and wish for transition to happen faster. Sex as a woman with men will be very importatnt. I do crave being with men but as I said it will only compound the problem. I am a hetero woman but I don't want it to push my desire to live as…

I'm not transgendered, but I am a young lesbian who has been dating a girl for a little over a year. My girlfriend recently confessed to me that she feels more like a boy trapped in a girl's body. She said she doesn't necessarily want surgery, since she wouldn't have a 'functional' penis, in her words. She wishes very much that she was born a boy, but doesn't really believe that she could become one. I always had a feeling that she felt like she was actually male, well before we started talking about it, but I still have some conflicting feelings. It isn't that I'm having trouble accepting transgender people. I always try to be open minded towards all identities, and …

  6. Hey everyone As someone who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, I wonder if it is common among transgender or people who don't prescribe to the gender binary to have some kind of mental illness. Do any of you have bipolar as well (or something similar)? I suppose my biggest fear is that being bipolar will affect my treatment and diagnosis as a transgendered individual. Transitioning is crucial for me. I was doing a bit of research, and I can understand how the issues we deal with can cause a manic break, therefore making a mentally ill individual even more so. Mental illness definitely runs in my family, so I think being FTM and dealing with the emotional issu…

  7. My Dear Friends, Today I have been the victim of adult bullying. What is embarrassing about it is that it was a senior lady picking on a 57 year old woman (me). Have also had a woman in her 50's pick on me while waiting for the bus in front of my building and a young man about 20 years my junior (30's) at a bus stop. Do not think that there is anything about my appearance or behavior that is "weird," BUT, I DO look like a Lesbian (which I am) and have a deep voice. Have grown my hair long and modified my dress to fit in better in a conservative (country folk) town. Have lived in NYC for ten years, and never was bullied. Now I live in a small town the last three years.…

Well, recently I've been really feeling as if I belong as a boy. The thing is, I was extremely girly as a child. I am going to 7th grade currently, the hesitation in gender roles, and just being a girl started around 4th grade. That wasn't much though, I just started fearing wearing skirts. Actually, no, it was when puberty started for me. When my balls that were misplaced onto my chest started growing. (my way of saying it reduces frustration) My mom says that she just thinks its a hormonal imbalance because of that, and this is probably a phase. The thought of dressing as a girl, and everything as a GIRL not only scares me, but makes me angry, upset, and want to…

I'm making this topic again -- I had it a few months ago, so I'm posting an update. Basically, I was asking about how long it should take to pass as I'd been on hormones for a year and I was still getting sir'd. My situation has not changed. I know I need FFS and whatnot, but since that's temporarily out of reach I'm asking for general advice on my every-day appearance. Here're some fairly recent pics: Yay for Halloween!! So, yeah... Any advice is appreciated, but if all you're gonna say is that my hair needs to grow, please come up with something else. Everyone tells me that but my hair grows really slowly... I can't help that. Iunno. …

is why so many people are "in the closet". WHAT ARE PEOPLE HIDING FROM? It's a great big beautiful world out here people, get out and enjoy life as the person you are. Don't let anyone get you down, or tell you that you can't (or shouldn't) do something. You simply need to dismiss the naysayers. (and this includes ANYONE who is a naysayer, "family", "friends", etc., etc) If someone doesn't like what you're doing, then the hell with them. Tell them they have a choice, they can either love, cherish and accept you, or they won't be in your life anymore, and you will simply dismiss them from your life. That is what I have done. WE HAVE A RIGHT TO BE HAPPY TOO. …

With the Supreme court ruling in favor of gays marrying , what of we transgender people ? I'm NOT Gay. In fact men as bed partners disgust me . A couple of the females and I know one Trans man who knows me well know the deep seated reason I made that statement . I did not transition to have sex ! I have come on this hellacious journey to see myself as a mature woman with the appearance of a lady . STILL, EVERY Day, I'm "Sired " or denied my place as a lady simply over my being a Transwoman ! Where are Trans rights people ? Where are our rights to be free to live where we choose , to worship , to shop to live without fear of violence ? For DECADES , I have supported Gay th…

I been thinkin about this for a long time. Whether I should put it up there and get advice or not. Being that i'm not very trusting to really open up to people, I had to think hard. I decided to give it a try. You see. okay, lets start of with how much I do love my parents, grandparents, and so on. Anyway, I found out at an early age that they're not too good with change. Then when I realized I was transgendered, I debaited on telling anyone of them. Later I casually went to my mom and told her that I needed to see a therapist. When she asked why, I told her because I have issues I nee to sort out and deal with. She said you tryin to tell me you like women? I said …

I have a friend who is a straight female she is dating a man for a year and they are deeply in love. her bf indicated to her that he has slept with transexual before close to 10 years ago and recently last year. he claims that he is completely straight - he only loves women. he said that the transexuals he did this with pass for women. if they looked a bit like men he would be turned off. he also said that he is completely comfortable with this masculinity. but he does not want to be in this life style. he feel as though he needs help. He said he would not have a serious relationship with these women.. ac…

A blog by Gabriel Rotello that appears in Huffington Post, October 4th 2007. I'm posting this as it might provide some food for thought and debate. link: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/gabriel-rote...-t_b_67202.html I hope it is OK to do this. MIWBJ ************************* The decision by the Democratic leadership in Congress to eliminate transgendered people from ENDA, the bill to ban discrimination against gays in the workplace, has ignited a genuine firestorm in gay political circles. It's heartening to see that LGBT activists are coming out of the woodwork to insist that any meaningful bill that does not protect the transgendered isn't worth the pa…

Ahh I'm confused lately. I'm like looking in the mirror and seeing that I'm more attractive and feminine slowly but surely, which is good, but the question is... How do you tell if you're becoming who you, on the inside, really are, or if you're just excited when you look in the mirror because you see a pretty girl? I guess this isn't a problem for straight girls, but still... I look downstairs like after a shower n see stuff that I don't think should be there but is that me seeing myself and I shouldn't have anything, or is it me seeing a girl who does have something and I don't think it should be there on her? It's pretty confusing. I mean Iunno I just feel deta…

For the past few weeks my close friend DJ, has been by my side since the moment I've gone public in my MTF transitioning. DJ has been staying at my apartment for a while, and recently I wanted her to hear my new transitioned voice sounding more feminine, but doing the past few days I'm beginning to notice a change in our friendship, DJ who was talkative to me, now she is quite which began to worry me. So I asked her did she feel uncomfortable with me walking around the apartment with long hair, wearing lipstick, and in women clothing? DJ replied back to me "not at all" but deep down inside I think she does, which is making feel a bit nervous? She tells me that she likes m…

I feel like I wanted to write this blog because inside I feel ashamed and feel like I am a freak..well not in the sense of being a transperson but the fact for having feelings for a a gender that even shocks me to be attracted to as I like genetic females, even though I want to change to being a female..if that made any sense. I am so confused..maybe..I think I just rambled on..lol. Anyways..let me get to the point before someone gets bored. For years I have been attracted to females and could not see myself attracted to men as I find them disgusting vile in my eyes. And just the last few days, I suddenly seem to get sexual attracted to shemales. I know I know..what…

I was at the community center last night waiting for a friend. A gentlemen who I have seen numerous times sat down and chatted with me. He complimented me on my attire. He seemed very fascinated with my hands. I have long, sleek fingers. It's not the first time someone has complimented me about them. We chatted for about ten minutes before he had to leave. Yesterday I received four emails from men desiring a relationship with me. This past Saturday, a couple of gents took notice of me while I was walking. It's really been interesting the past few days.

Being that transgendered people look to alter there lives to match what truly lies within, coming out is a must. It is probably the hard and scariest thing for anyone to do. So with that said, to anyone that is reading this who did you first come out to. Why do you chose that person over others? Sorry that I can't contribute to my own topic. I have yet to come out to anyone. ^_^
