  1. OK, I feel I have to clear the air, there seams to be a mis conception about the difference between life pre op and post op, the words oh it will all be better once that is gone, my cloths will fit I will be more comfortable more confident in my self. Bull, if your self confident then your that way pre just as much as post operations, if your a basket case emotionally before your going to be even more so after words. I am so sick of all these individuals who tie up their crap lives with being Trans anything or that's why they are so unhappy because they have this darn issue that no one understands, how can the rest of the world understand if nothing changes post op all …

Seems over the past year I've noticed Teenagers to early twenties are exploring, looking for crossdressers and trans to experiment with.Teenagers who say are cisgender male, post pictures saying this is me. A good deal of the time they have hips which no male could had been born with. They are attracting many followers. I truly have to wonder about them, trendy or looking for attention because they can't get attention otherwise.I have joined and left several Facebook private groups and notice the predominant topic is to have uninhibited sex. Many times asking for things I'm sure they would be sorry for if they actually get it.Many younger transgender get fricken upset of…

  3. Hi everyone! It is my pleasure to announce the initiation of taking harmones in order to go to the next stage in my life. After living 4 years on and off as cis women, I have finally decided to go for breasts development or via harmones. I have over in past 2 years meet real transgenders like me but with using harmones and to see their breasts development. I honestly wasn't that impressed as in my head the bay watch models and huge breasts come to mind? But those are perky, apple or oranges well I thought to let you know harmones don't get those types! So the need for surgery is required at all cost for "perky" breasts to say minimum. And my final question is down t…

  5. I don't think of my being transgender as a malfunction. My malfunctions came due to how transgender people were and are treated in a society we created. I have other malfunctions due to that treatment, like bi-polar type 1 at the age of 12 and schizophrenia at the age of 24 which was a build of many things. Malfunctions that didn't have to happen and don't need to happen to our children who will become future adults. There is no cure for what I have but there is a cure for what caused it. I love this song. Isabella and her brother David are so talented. Isabella started out as Rabbit in this group and transitioned to Bunny. If you didn;t know of this group before, Isabel…

I stated crossdressing when I was 15. It was my escape and safety net from an abusive brother. I started off wearing pantyhose and tights under my clothes. Over time, I started wearing women panties full time. I even bought high high shoes and knee high boots to walk around in. As time went on, I slowly started buying women clothes, makeup, and couple wigs. I even thought about becoming a transgender woman. My psychologist wanted me to prefect my crossdressing skills first. For me to learn dress up where I can truly pass as a women. Even though I been slowly taking baby steps for crossdressing over the years. I'm still new to becoming a full crossdress women. I will app…

I recently received a survey from Facebook on behalf of a third party company. Checked the company out and they are indeed a valid survey company. The survey, the way I saw it was genuinely concerned about the LGBT community and if you are on FB would urge you to take the survey. The survey comes from an email so look for it in your inbox.

  10. I'm asked more and more often now "What group do you represent." with a stern look of consternation in many cases. I work WITH a couple groups now. The Livingston County Rainbow Alliance and Stronger Together of Western New York. Who do I represent? I represent Erica Elizabeth Ravenwood unless I otherwise say so, as in, "I'm looking for something the Rainbow Alliance can borrow." Or something of that nature. I do not represent, or fully support, the LGBT at this point in time. The reason being is we differ on just a couple but very important key points regarding the transgender subject and how to move forward with it. The things I support I support fully. The things I do …

  11. Within what I'm going to write I will name no names. I'm really bad at names anyway so the chance I would remember the names correctly are slim to none, lol. This however is a serious subject I hope people will read. A dear friend of mine told me this evening that a person in the complex in which I live said she would never let her children near me because I'm transgender. This without my knowledge at the time but she wasn't going to allow her children to come to my haunted house. Again I don't know who this person is, it turned out she came with her children to my haunted house. Now two things are teaching moments here. One, parents understand I totally respect your want…

In one of the groups I'm in on Facebook the following poll went up. Gender poll FTM - 145MTF - 88Non Gender - 51Gender Fluid - 43A Gender - 27I was surprised (kind of) that there are so many FTM and surprised there were not more MTF and Non-Gender. What was cool is the average age of members is 20 and will be interesting to see if there is indeed a rise in FTM.

Hi, I had a burning desire to find questions on as a male dating on websites. It reflected a very conservative response from female gender on their part. So I eventually dealt with negative feedback from online dating and learned to live with it. Now during my four years of transition into female and living as her mostly, trying online dating is another false indicator not to get into to for learning to my surprising astonishment! Yes a lot attention you get as a women, one being as CDS women in online dating. But the websites are constructed in a way to discourage, men and women meeting in the SAME city where as men and women from far off different cities are encourag…

  14. The following article (which includes some video of the person undergoing gender confirmation surgery) to me shows how important it is to have a strong support system in place as shown several times in the video of the mother's love for her child. The mother was clueless when she first found out her child was transgender but that all changed and she loved her no different than prior to her child's announcement. I believe a person can go through this surgery without support but with just a single person in their corner raises the success of a happy life ten fold so imagine what the support of an entire family will do then couple that with friends who are supportive. http:/…

  15. I am looking for information about having bones that match the gender you identify with and not your birth sex. I am a 40 year old born male transgender person. I am waiting to see the endocrinologist for HRT still. I have always felt like my body looked feminine but later in puberty my chest deepened more masculine. When I was first near puberty my pelvis grew wider as I used to walk into door frames for a time and had bruises on both sides where the pelvic crest sticks out. Recently I had a CT scan done to check for kidney stones. I got the copy of the scan and used a 3D program to look at my bones. I have asked a doctor to look at the images and have asked on a biology…

Today, just 10 minutes ago, my mother called me to tell me that another person of our community has been attacked by being slashed in the face by a woman. A Transman was attacked with a razor to the face after being a gentleman and offering two women a seat. After he got up and offered a seat next to the other females friend, they waited to get off but before they did, they slashed the mans face. I'm going to say this. In NYC, where I live, I will be carrying a consealed weapon of my choice. It will not be a gun nor knife or blade. It will not be mace or pepper spray. Ive lived in NYC most of my life and have been in transition for 2 years now. I'm not passable as I been …

Hi Everyone, I'm new here. Kinda feeling this out. Uhmmm.... I have been in transition for 9 years, primarily on hormone treatment. Estrogen, Spiro's alone. I am also living with a chronic illness that most would scoff at if I as to share what it is. But other than that, my conundrum is about after this life is over. I was orphan till the age of 10, then adopted by a woman, a teacher and a devout catholic. Since a teeanger, I fought the urges of desiring another male. Though before my adoption, at 3yrs old I was molested by a cousin on my mother side of the family. Till I was in my 20's and in college. I was bullied in my earlier years of high school, and made gay friends…

  21. This might seem off topic to some, but any proven physical difference specific to gender reinforces the evidence of a brain for one gender in the body of another as central to the issue of trans medicine. These studies showing genetic evidence for gender differences in the brain are huge in the scientific case. Zhou, Jiang-Ning; Hofman, Michel A.; Gooren, Louis J. G.; Swaab, Dick F. (1995). "A sex difference in the human brain and its relation to transsexuality". Nature 378 (6552): 68–70. doi:10.1038/378068a0. PMID 7477289. It was then confirmed in another study. Kruijver, F. P. M.; Zhou, JN; Pool, CW; Hofman, MA; Gooren, LJ; Swaab, DF (2000). "Male-to-Female Transsexual…

  22. 15 Items You Should Always Keep in Your Purse (For Crossdressers and Transgender Women) 1 Cell phone - okay common sense without it you can loose communication to outside digital world. 2 Lipstick - the later one since I get worried when my lips dry out, so need to put new coat. 3 Chewing gum - I don't agree here since I am not much of gum chewer. 4 Nail file - Nope, not exactly what I would do in public or outside my apartment with nail file! 5 $20 cash - Yes a definite, $20 cash is must have as it over rides credit card, debit card, to whatever in emergency!!! 6 Hand cream - No I wouldn't carry hand cream, this is something you do after a shower or before an activity …

  23. Aydian Dowling | 08 Oct 2016 "Finally -- and maybe most importantly -- there's a need to truthfully address the notion of binary gender. Getting beyond that binary is surely one way we will overcome this, but that is new, uncharted water we as a community will be struggling with for a long time. And it will be worth the wait if, in the end, everyone can express their unique gender identity in an authentic way and have that identity acknowledged and respected by all." - Dowling, nbcnews.com Opinion: The Invisible Man: Why Have Transmen Been Left Behind?

  24. I have a definitely burning question for my own personal experiences to share and ask ANYONE about if they got hired dressing up in girls or men's clothes from being opposing genders?? I myself have been to 2 interviews and the HR person didn't call me back for the job position. I know I was over qualified & the position was sales merely not technical position. I have however been advised to go as male get the job and after 6 months at work drop the bomb of coming out as a girl. Now I have also remained in my dual genders for the purpose of getting hired in executive job where I know over there it's absolutely no for accepting trans folk. I am not saying in negativ…

I am new to the forums and not really transgendered at all, but here to gain knowledge of transgender issues. I was wondering if anybody had made a study of transgenderism as it might relate to the Myer-Briggs personality classifications. There are 16 personality types in the Myer-Briggs classification system, and I am one of the most rare, INTJ (borderline ENTJ). Only 2% of the total population at very most is an INTJ. On top of that, it has a VERY STRONG GENDER BIAS as there are 3 male INTJ types for every 1 female INTJ type. The 4 different NT types make up 25% of the total personality types while only being somewhere between 7% and 10% of the population. On the other …
